We had a reservation at 7 PM the sunset at 7:30. Not only was the staff attentive and extremely friendly, but we got to see God‘s handiwork as the sun set . The drinks were custom-made at our table. The food was very good.. We each had a little something different from steaks to catch of the day to octopus. I would definitely recommend it. It’s definitely on the more expensive side of the resorts at Vidanta , but it’s definitely worth it.

I love this restaurant. The service was great! We were in and out of the restaurant in 1 hour. I liked my salmon a lot, but my husband’s shrimp was bland. The ambience is beautiful. The time I wanted to go was not available so We had to take the 8:00 time which was perfect for the sunset. But after that the beach view became pitch dark. I would go back to this restaurant again.

They treated me very well on my birthday. Overall amazing food, outstanding service and unique drinks from the bar cart. They also had live music which made it even better but really their view is what will take me back there multiple times when I am vacationing in Puerto Vallarta!

Puerto Manjar offers beachside dining featuring seafood prepared in a variety of ways. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The specialty cocktails mixed tableside was an added treat. It is a lovely place for dinner and a perfect location to watch the sun set.

Fantastic meal with great service with great friends. We were able to enjoy our meal with a wonderful sunset. Thank you to the hostess for accommodating our table request. The softshell crab was some of the best we have had. Each main course was excellent and we enjoyed the show with the flambeau Mexican coffee.

The ambience was beautiful for sunset pictures. The mixologist and cocktails were great. The desserts were terrible, the vegan cheesecake tasted like chalk and the cobbler was very odd with corn in it. Bring your appetite if you’re having lobster because they are huge. The wait staff were great!

Three of the four of us thought the food was pretty average (e.g. the red snapper was overcooked and tough). In fairness we have eaten there before and had a better experience particularly for breakfast. Francisco’s service was excellent and he was very attentive. We still like Puerto Manjar and will dine there again on our next stay.
