   Let me start by saying the wait staff was wonderful! My wife and I shared several items from the menu. We started with the chicken tortilla soup which we both agreed was quite good. We then had the potatoes bravas with which we were both disappointed. The patatas had no crisp but instead every bit felt like it had a thick skin encasing the potato. The next item we shared were the crab chilaquiles. This item was a major let down as we have had it in the past and really enjoyed it. The crab tasted like it was fresh out of a can and the whole dish was cold when it arrived at our table making the runny egg very unappetizing. The last item we shared was the braised lamb shank. This was by far the best dish we received! It was wonderful creating our own tacos with the items on the plate! Unfortunately the dish was 1 or 2 ingredients away from excellence! The meat and rice were lacking a little bit of flavor but the pickled onion on the side made up for them when loading it all in a taco. The staff split everything for my wife and I and were the reason I wish I could give 5 stars across the board!

   We were waited on by Kim who was awesome! We went for brunch and couldn’t decide and she recommended dishes that weren’t even on the menu that were delicious. Highly recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes and french toast!!

    This restaurant needs to have a few ordinary options on the menu for us folks with delicate stomachs Most of your dishes have too much going on. We’re been there twice. I do no think we will be returning. It just isn’t for us.

    We wondered in here on morning for breakfast. The service and staff was great. We liked it so much we came back for dinner and the quality of service, staff, and food carries over well to dinner as well. Great food.     Nothing fantastic to tell here except my wife got the runs about 10 minutes after leaving. She had the caribbean halibut and the farro was heavy on the coconut curry. I believe that is what got her. I had the seafood paella and it was ok. Good, but not great. We got placed in the back room. No ambiance whatsoever. Just a closed in room. Pretty pricey for what you get in my opinion.

    It has been a VERY long time since I was at a restaurant in which the food was so terrible that I didn't want to finish my meal...Proximo ruined that record. On the hunt for a celebratory date night restaurant, I was initially happy to find Proximo seeing that they had seemingly good reviews and paella on the menu. The service we received was wonderful and the ambiance is great as well, but I would NEVER go back given how terrible the food was for the price point. We paid a $110 bill (before tip) for two entrees and a salad. If the food would've been even passably good, I wouldn't be upset, but $40 for a bowl of food that I was forcing myself to eat is terrible. My partner's pork chop had burnt edges and was served on a bed of over-seasoned and overcooked greens and beans. I'm still not sure if it was supposed to pair well with his protein, but after trying it I don't blame him for not touching it. We will not be going back and would encourage whoever is reading this to look at a different restaurant if you are coming here to eat food.

    Our first visit, Sunday brunch. Jared, our server, was knowledgeable, helpful, engaged, and really made our experience outstanding. The food was delicious, well presented, and varied. We tried new things, suggested by Jared, who asked some questions and made suggestions after listening to us. Looking forward to the next visit, hopefully for dinner.

    We went to Proximo specifically to get biscuits & gravy as I had eaten a little over a week ago. We were disappointed to see that biscuits & gravy was not on the Sunday brunch menu (I had them on a Wednesday). When I asked the waitress about it, she quickly offered to serve it. “No problem! We can make that for you!” They we’re again, fabulous! Best in town, even better than mine and I make really good biscuits & gravy!

    First time at Proximo. Ordered the tuna appetizer, Shrimp and Grits and the Red Snapper. All were delicious and Aaylah our server was exceptional! Will be back for sure.

    I ate here with a co-Worker. I had the pesto chicken and she had the filet mignon. We enjoyed multiple rounds at the bar and were served by Nick, the bartender. He was attentive and made great recommendations. We’ll be back!

    Próximo is still an outstanding dinning experience. Making a reservation on Open Table is very easy. Parking can be a challenge. However there are several pay options near the restaurant if you can't find a street spot. The host and waitress were very friendly and professional. You felt like you were valued and welcomed. The restaurant is still attractive, in good working order, clean and very attractively decorated. The Teo person tables might be a bit small. However the chairs and booth seating are very comfortable. My wife had the chicken pesto entree. The chicken breast was large, most and very tasty. She enjoyed the pesto as it was not strong and over powering. The angel hair pasta was cooked perfectly. I gad the lamb shank. This was cooked to perfection. The meat had a small amount of seasoning and was extraordinarily moist. The meat could easily be cut with a fork and had a solid meat flavor. The fresh radish and carrots priva nice fresh crisp crunch texture. The rice was cooked perfectly- not too soft but no crunchy grains. The pickled onions and peppers provided a nice zest. This dish was also very large. Overall the entree portion sizes are very large. I'm not sure how I would have managed one of the attractive designer/creative appetizers, soups or salads. Proximo can be a bit pricey so be prepared for that if that could be an issue for you.

    I've been there many times for brunch. I don't know if they have a new cook or something but the gravy in the breakfast skillet was so salty I couldn't enjoy it. The French toast was still good. But I was really disappointed with the breakfast skillet
