Provisional is a sprawling, sunlit communal dining space featuring a Vittoria Coffee espresso bar, bistro tables, and a retail space set within a greenhouse, where guests can shop a curated collection of homeware, ceramics, apothecary items, pantry staples, and jewelry.

    The front reception folks need to seriously improve in the way they receive and attend to guests who made reservations. Went there a couple of times at breakfast and lunch and both times even though I made reservations, the attitude from the staff was very poor. Even when I had made a party reservation for 10 and had assurances by email from the restaurant that the table would be prepared, I had to wait 15-20 mins with all my guests waiting, and with me pushing for things to get moving. Pretty ridiculous and the attitude of nonchalance made things even worse. The front staff wasn't even aware where my party would be seated even though the restaurant had assured me of a very specific location in the restaurant. Very unprofessional for a hotel of that reputation.

    The restaurant itself is pretty, I liked the bench/couch seating area. Minus a couple ripped parts, overall it’s a cute dining area. I am celiac and can’t have gluten and they were able to accommodate my requests so that is always a plus! However, the food overall was below average at best. While I am always hesitant to leave a not so favorable review on places that accommodate allergies , the gluten free pizza tasted something along the lines as those ‘make your own pizzas’ you got as a kid. Sauce was barely warm, mozzarella was rubber and overall the flavor was nowhere to be found. We also ordered the ribeye and the steak had absolutely zero flavor as well, even with the chimichurri sauce was not enough to save it and did not justify the price tag that came with it. With so many amazing steak choices in the area this was not a meal that would bring me back here. My family was able to eat their house rolls and they said they were absolutely delicious. We were on an extreme time crunch and starving otherwise, to be honest, I would have sent everything back. I do know they are more known for their brunch so maybe I will go back to try that but unfortunately I can’t say this experience left a good impression with me.
