As expected it is expensive, however, worth every penny. It is simply perfect!

One of the best tasting menu experiences ever - the 3.5 to 4 hour experience is worth the time and expense.

We had the 4 course meal and it was more than enough for us. The servings are small, but fulfilling. There are three meal options, the first is a four course meal, the second is a seven course meal, and the last is a 15 course meal (I don't know how people can eat that much). Overall the service was outstanding, and the food was superb

We really enjoyed our experience at Providence. We had the Chef's Tasting Menu with wine pairing. It ended up costing around $400pp, but we got 18 dishes total and spent around 4 hours there. High quality at a high price. If you can't afford it, don't go. But if you can, you'll have a good time.

This is an amazing restaurant - and it’s understandable that it has frequently topped the late Jonathan Gold’s Best 101 Restaurants list. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented - and the service was warm and professional. We’ve been there numerous times - and it is truly a “fine dining” experience - yet it still managed to exceed my expectations!

When I tell people this is the finest restaurant in Los Angeles, it is not an exaggeration. We are never disappointed and a little known secret is they are only open for lunch on Friday and it is like a private club, the same people each Friday. We love Providence!

We took Dine La Special. Service, food and ambiance was excellent.
We would love to come back again
Other than Dine LA try to run other specials otherwise it becomes cost prohibitive

Perfection. Providence is dining perfection. The food is beyond delicious. The presentation is sublime. The service is exceptional. Eating at Providence is a dining experience and not merely a night eating out. It is fine dining elevated to a level comparable to The French Laundry. I honestly can't think of a meal that has surpassed the one we had at Providence, or even equaled it. (The French Laundry is the only restaurant I have eaten at in California that is perhaps its equal.)

It is expensive, giving truth to the motto "you get what you pay for."

I can't wait to go back. Oh please, let me win the lottery! (Or just say, "life is short, let's enjoy it while we can.")

When you finally try such an iconic restaurant as Providence, I think it’s easy to be underwhelmed. This was not the case with Providence, the food was simply spectacular, even being limited to the DineLA menu. The service was impeccable without in any way being stuffy or pretentious which can certainly happen at restaurants with this price point. The waitstaff were friendly and approachable and of course completely knowledgeable about the food. The downside of course is cost, but so very worth a giant splurge.

I would be surprised If there is a better restaurant in the world. It was simply perfect in every way. An extremely attentive, yet unobtrusive waitstaff. Calming, restful setting (or a big lively room if you prefer). The food is simply beyond compare - exquisite, truly artful preparations, that are all about FLAVOR. Is it a good value? What would you pay for a ticket to Hamilton? A night in the Ritz? A weekend in Vegas? A dinner for two at Providence is FAR cheaper than any of these, and much more memorable.

Everything was amazing. We're moving out of LA and wanted to go to best restaurant. Providence did not disappoint. Only minor gripe was how quickly our server spoke so difficult at times catching all details of the amazing food.

Simply one of the finest dining experiences in LA. The food and service were superb. We opted for the Chef’s Tasting Menu—12 courses and 5.5 hours long—and it was SO worth it. Highly recommend Providence.

My wife and I have been here numerous times. It is our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles (though we both love N'Naka too). If you don't get one of the tasting menus, you are not really getting what Providence has to offer. The creativity and breadth of the menu is without peer. The wine pairing is a must, though this time we shared one wine pairing, which was fine except for the two reds at the end, where I definitely wanted more of those wines. Still, we had a great meal for my birthday. Last year, we did this meal in the private room adjacent to the kitchen, where you can see all the magic. Providence is amazing.

First time dining at Providence and it was among my favorite dining experiences ever. The service was exceptional. The food presentation was very cool and worthy of discussion. The quality and flavor of the food was exceptional. I really appreciate how the staff discussed where the restaurant sources the ingredients and explaining the dishes. I also really appreciate the restaurant is supporting the local community--the building was a great restoration and the parking was simple for a challenging area. We dined early to make a flight out of LAX and I will certainly come back when I can relax a bit more and appreciate the experience even more. Really loved it.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We haven’t been in a couple of years and we’re looking forward to a nice treat so we both got the chef’s tasting with wine pairing. For $800 I would have expected to be blown away (like on previous occasions) but was disappointed. We felt rushed and the food was good but not great. The wine pairing was great. We’ll be going elsewhere next time we feel like a good tasting experience.

My wife and I have been to many tasting menu style restaurants and this was by far our favorite. In this particular night, I took her here to celebrate her birthday.

Tasting menus normally have one item that I or she dislikes, but Providence blew us away. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. My wife found the Wagyu very rich and in no way can we fault the restaurant for the richness of the wagyu, and they were really great in finding an alternative after having a bite out of it. I absolutely loved it and devoured my piece.

We were really impressed by the presentation and everything about this restaurant. We will gladly come here again, soon!
