                                            I had a reservation at 10:45 a.m. on May 11, 2025, Mother’s Day, for breakfast for three people. I received a phone call at 10:30 to let me know the kitchen would be closing at 11:00. When we arrived we were told the buffet was closing shortly and so no additional food was being. We opted not to take the buffet. We ordered two breakfast meals, eggs were cold, bacon was cold and white toast was only toasted on one side. I had the pancakes which were overcomes and cold, the fruit and whipped cream were good. The coffee was not very hot but we did have a pot of coffee for the table. The server was good in the beginning but after she served our food, she did not come back to check if we needed anything. I had to go to the bar, where she was to ask for the bill. Very disappointed start to Mother’s Day and family!

                                            Food was just ok. Had fish tacos. They were breaded and came with nachos and salsa for some reason. My guest ordered chicken wings and they were also not great and came with potato chips??? The chocolate lava cake was same as anywhere. Nothing notable but it is a hotel diner . Better to go somewhere else if you want better food. Like a Kelsey’s experience.

                                            Fantastic dining experience, both at lunch and dinner. I’m here in Ottawa on business and the restaurant staff is excellent, pleasant and the food is delicious! I’ll definitely become a regular!

                                            This isn’t our first time visiting, and this restaurant has become one of our favorites! We make it a point to stop by whenever we're in town. The food quality is always excellent, and the service is fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress remembered us from our last visit—such great customer service! We also love the Happy Hour. However, this visit had a bit of a hiccup. Unlike our last experience on Valentine’s Day, when we sat at the bar and enjoyed the lively atmosphere with a DJ, this time was meant to be a quiet date night. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, so we opted to sit in the dining area for a more intimate setting. Unfortunately, the hostess seated a large family with multiple young children right next to us, which quickly disrupted the ambiance. The noise level made it difficult to enjoy the rest of our evening, and we ultimately decided to skip dessert. Will be back in the future, but will try to either sit at the bar, or at a booth.

                                            My colleagues/friends visit Prova at least 1-2 a month and it’s our go to place. We normally have the same server and her memory is amazing. She always knows what our drink order is and very friendly each time. My only negative is we cannot collect Bonvoy points as it’s located in a Bonvoy hotel.

                                            The ambiance is nice. The food was rather plain/simple, and some elements were not very well executed (eg, my steamed carrots were quite raw). It didn't seem worth the price. The best part of the meal was dessert, which was very tasty. Service was friendly, but our appetizer came at the same time as our main course.
