Great time with our party of 6. Food was great, start with a bunch of small plates as all were tasty. Our server Summer was the star of the evening taking good care of our food and drinks with a prune positive attitude. When asked about what to do around Charleston after dinner, she provided us a list of options that were spot on. A must do again when back in Charleston!

It is definitely a rustic style restaurant. The noise level is incredibly loud. We were taken to the back patio to be seated. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. They had a very narrow metal back that curved around into my back. The back is approximately 15 inches wide, so there’s no way to sit all the way back in the flat metal chair. You have to sit to the front of the chair. We were immediately served water, but we did not see a waitress. So after about 10 minutes, we left. The menu items they had to offer were OK , but nothing to get excited about. I rated the food with three stars only because I’m sure some people enjoy the food, but we never actually had the opportunity to eat anything.

We enjoyed the food and cocktails, however our server was rude, unfriendly and completely indifferent throughout the meal. The restaurant was not busy. We will not return.

Dishes were inconsistent. Heirloom tomatoes, fabulous. Stuffed oysters, a wet mass.

we were warned that food would come as it was prepared, but didn't expect 1 person in our party of 7 to have to wait so long for their entree...especially when 2 others who ordered the same item got their orders. We had finished our dinner by the time the order finally came out. No apology from the staff. When I asked the 2 hostesses who was the owner of the establishment, no one could answer. Very disappointing and now I know why it was one of the only places i could get a reservation for a party of our size. Also, the high-top seats are so small...mature adults have a difficult time sitting on these!
