   After Easter service with friends we had Easter Brunch at Princi Italia. We enjoyed it so much we decided to celebrate Mother’s Day there as well! Never disappointed with our dining experience at Princi Italia!

   They must have been over whelmed for Mothers Day. We showed up for 11:15 reservation on time and a set menu. We weren’t served our entries over an hour later. Around us they were serving deserts to tables who had just started their entry. Another table they tried to serve desert and they hadn’t even been served entry. Not a good experience!

   While the food was delicious, I was really disappointed with our recent visit. My daughter and her friends went to celebrate her birthday, and when they asked about it, the waitress told them, “We don’t do birthday celebrations here.” However, that clearly wasn’t true — I called and asked specifically about birthdays. It felt like the staff simply didn’t want to deal with a group of teenagers, which is incredibly disheartening. The group was polite, ordered food, and behaved well. There’s no excuse for making them feel dismissed on what should’ve been a special occasion. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure all guests — no matter their age — are treated with the same courtesy and respect.

   Princi has great patio when the weather is nice. Food and drinks always spot on.

   Restaurant has changed in the past few years. It is still a very nice restaurant but they are cutting corners. Bowl used for soup is smaller, the amount of chicken and potatoes served is less, etc. Our waiter was excellent- helpful but not intrusive. However the kid at the hostess stand was untrained. He could not find our reservation and as we were leaving, we overheard he couldn’t find someone else’s. I wouldn’t call it fine dining anymore but a family restaurant. So overall the dinner was pleasing, just not exceptional like it used to be

   It was clear the restaurant was overwhelmed by the crowd on Easter Sunday. The service was slow- it took approximately an hour to receive our entrees. We were advised by our waitress about 15 minutes before the entrees arrived that some food items on the fixed-priced menu were no longer available. For example, the potatoes were not available, yet I wasn’t given an option to substitute. Also, two of the dessert items were unavailable. The salmon entree included a crab sauce and spinach leaves. That's it. The lesson our group learned is to schedule an earlier reservation or go elsewhere for brunch.

    Great restaurant but not on holidays like Xmas Eve or Easter. I have it a second shot today and for a 1:15 reservation for 5; we didn’t get seated till after 2. On a pre-set menu, they forgot our appetizer. They forgot my dad’s beer, got when we reminded her, approx 20 minutes. They clearly can’t manage crowded holidays. It’s ruined a couple holidays w my elderly parents. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.
