Very nice staff very yummy food for our Brunch
Primo is one of the few places in the valley where a diner can find high-quality veal, properly pounded and prepared. Whenever we come here, it’s hard to not order the vitello picatta. It’s served with seasonal vegetables (asparagus most recently) cooked to toothsome perfection, and the Primo mashed potatoes; or they are quite amenable to seeing the veal with the pasta of your choice. Service is always friendly AND professional, and the space is beautiful.
Great food and service. As always.
First time in, pleasantly surprised, beautiful design, great food and drinks.
Good menu variety. Excellent staff. Fantastic bread.
They use multiple servers for each table which causes redundant questions and makes them look like they don’t know what they’re doing. Example: Would you like a drink 30 seconds after we ordered one from someone else. Food was excellent though...
Great food, great service and a beautiful patio! We had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The menu is not as large as it once was, probably another result of covid and they should update their online menu to reflect the change. Our table was a little disappointing because we felt like we were sort of in the line of traffic, I've always had lovely more intimate locations in the past. The food and service were good as always, although my veal was a little too done.
Primo occupies a lovely, soaring space. We enjoyed a complementary bruschetta while admiring the architecture of the interior.
Our main course was the veal piccata, pounded to tenderness, with a white wine and lemon butter sauce dotted by plenty of capers. Chef Samir graciously substituted cappellini for the mashed potatoes that are usually served with the dish. Perfectly cooked asparagus and roasted carrots complemented the veal and pasta, making a very satisfying dinner.
Wonderful service-delicious St Patrick’s day meal!!
What a great meal and dining experience!
Great food and very good service as always. Highly recommend.
Sam and his entire crew really love to serve good food and great service and they hit it on the marks every time. Cheers
Food was awful
Service was awful
Wonderful evening at Primo celebrating a new job with great friends. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional.
Great food and service. Always been a nice dining experience.
This is a place where 80% of the bill is coming from ambience. The food is very uninspired, if not completely reductive. Service is good bordering on very good. But the actual food is so forgettable and valueless that I can’t see booking another business dinner here.
Delicious homemade l’italian food. Quiet atmosphere
Service was great so it is to bad the food is so poor.
Remarkably disappointed. To start, I do NOT mind paying a bit more for the avoidance of normality, and chaos often found in chain restaurants. So we finally decided to try Primo. Soon to find, the only thing Primo offered was high price, for substandard meals. Lets simplify.
Food; BLAND, I had chicken piccata. two small, seemingly water boiled tasting breasts, inadequately paired with 4 small strands of asparagus over 4 carrots. A side of mashed potatoes and everything tasteless. Truly had the characteristic of a microwave dinner. My date had the salmon. This totally over seasoned, to which she politely had boxed to see if she could get her son to eat it at home.
Perhaps the first hint of poor food was how these meals came ready in less than 5 minutes. HOW, does salmon cook in less than 5 minutes?
Atmosphere is likened to a dim conference room, quickly arranged after a meeting to accommodate the poor food it shall serve.
The better part was the service. The server was polite, and available.
Final thought, way over priced!! Food was not good, and surprised this place stays open.
Fantastic food and ambience.
Great restaurant, normally with wonderful dinners. But this Thanksgiving was a disaster.
Wow! My boyfriend and I were celebrating a major bucket list purchase at Primo and Samir really rolled out the red carpet. We were placed in front of the fireplace and treated to an out-of-this world dinner with delectable clams, veal, and lamb chops. It was a romantic delight in a beautiful setting. The only critique I have is that when decanting the wine, don't glug it out of the bottle since that simply stirs up the sediment. Perhaps a little training there but otherwise, perfect!
Great food and service. Always a great date night location.
Today I've decided to bring my mother here for her birthday. We had an amazing dinner and dessert! The server's we're on point and the chef came out, which showed us that he's very dedicated to his work. We loved every bit of this place!! If I had more star, I would definitely give this place a thousand. I'll be surely coming back here again.
It was my husbands birthday. It was so great to be able to eat dinner, have a drink, then go downstairs and steam and have a massage!
What a great setup! We do this combo a lot and we will continue todo it!
We had an outstanding dinner for my birthday here. The tables are well separated inside and the food is excellent. It is the perfect place for a nice dinner in the COVID era.
Such a great experience. food was phenomenal and had such great flavor. Service was great too
Good food but the tiramisu needs to be prepared with more coffee. Needs flavor. Thanks
Beautiful place, customer service is excellent and had a good date night
The patio is large, shaded, and comfortable. The grouper “special” with the tomato sauce, capers and sun dried tomato was delicious. The mashed potatoes and carrot/asparagus complimented everything well. As first time diners, we’re sure to return again.
Food was all fantastic, except gelato was average ice cream. A little pricey, but the ambiance was nice. Will go back.
Our daughter and husband were in town from Texas and we wanted to have a great evening. The food was as always, just right. My wife wanted her halibut slightly undercooked and the kitchen came through. The chef stopped by our table twice and then provided two desserts complimentary. We will definitely be back.
Great food but a limited menu which I would assume is partly due to the pandemic.
Great serviced and a nice patio.
I'd prefer rating Primo as 4.5 stars. We had a delicious meal, but the shrimp scampi was a little overdone. Everything else was great. Service friendly and professional.
Great for a date night or just a casual night out. Patio was quiet and comfortable and the service was excellent. Small but good wine list
Fantastic food as usual. Sit outside on the patio for beautiful views of the mountains.
This is such a great local restaurant!
Way above and beyond on both food and service!!!
Always great food and service. I highly recommend you try this excellent restaurant.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service. We have loved the restaurant for many years.
Great food and outstanding service. would highly recommend
