Primi Italian Steakhouse
The evening was awesome only to be improved upon by great food, ambience and service. Charlie our server was terrific!
Lovely on a Sunday night. Very find bread. Excellent salad. Delicious prime steak. Fair, clam appetizer...delicious sauce, but tiny clams. Mashed potatoes were terrible. We had very fine service.
Enjoyed it as usual. Always pleased with both the food and the service. The cheesecake that was given to us in celebration of our anniversary at the end of the meal was a surprise. We enjoyed it. We were there for our 50th, six years ago.
We love eating and drinking at Primi! The food is fantastic!
Our favorite restaurant. Consistently delivers a great dining experience
Food was very good. Very nice place to take date. Our waiter was very good. We then went to the bar after dinner for some more drinks and the service was just ok. There were a lot of locals and the bartenders didn’t really pay us any attention. Too busy with everyone else they know.
Food was delicious. It was a bit difficult to hear each other at the table because of the noise level. Overall, a great night and would definitely come back.
Best Italian & steak restaurant in the area. Owner is very knowledgeable and attentive. Service staff is excellent. Great menu steak, italian dishes , fish etc.
Took waitress 10-15 to come to take a drink order. Drink came 10 minutes later incorrect. Christine was our waitress. We come to Primi often so I assume it was just an off night.
Service and food was perfect. Everyone from the valet , bartender and to the wait staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Loud. Weak drinks. Had to send them back Service needs improvement. Appetizer went to another table
As always- food and service was excellent. Compliments to the chef and the staff.
Primi has become our new favorite dining spot.
The service was not good. We waited close to 45 minutes between our salad and meal without anyone checking on us. Then the meal came and the Swordfiah special was dry like it had waited to long to be served. Veal chop was good. Overall we were disappointed.
Always the best, Frank and his team do a phenomenal job
Steak was good sides were terrible watered down. Other tables were cursing and very loud.not a great way to spend your birthday dinner
Very gracious owner. Excellent food and service .
Always have the best time/meal when I come to Primi! Great for a date night or a birthday celebration.
Water glasses were not clean, egg plant rollatini was cold in the middle. Ordered some sauce with steak, it arrived after I finished eating. Steak and lamb chops were good.
Valet parking is always nice. Our dinner was delicious. Calamari. Shrimp oregenata were HUGE!! Tuna and chicken parmigiana for my son. Everything is top notch and delicious. Truly a special place.
Lovely atmosphere, great service, excellent food. Will definitely come back when I’m on LI.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very good, reminiscent of high end Great Neck locations. Service was exceptionally good. The food was very good, with the exception of the French fries in truffle oil. They were undercooked and greasy. None of the five people at my table enjoyed them. The main courses were exceptional.
Excellent food. Christina our waitress was wonderful. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
Loved the crispy artichokes, rice balls and meatballs! Excellent service.
Had to wait about 1/2 hour for table. But the food and the management made up for it. Really enjoyed dinner.
Fabulous food fantastic service! My veal chop was so good.Everything service, wine , dessert 👍
Everything was great besides the ant in my water when the waitress poured a new glass.
Food and cocktails were wonderful. Service was phenomenal!!
Food was fantastic but the service was terrible. The server didn’t come to the table really at all to check on us. He forgot to get us our drinks and took forever. We also were their for my wife’s 30th birthday and he forgot to bring us a dessert that I asked for. Instead we had to ask for it from another server.
Very nice steakhouse. Nice for a business dinner of small groups.
First if you go do not take the booth under the stairs. The noise from people running up and down was awful.
My husband and I love trying new steakhouses. We also love a good porterhouse paired with an outstanding bottle of wine. We did not have that experience at all. When the waiter approached I asked him what he knew about the wine selection. He admitted not much but would ask his manager. I said we enjoy fruity Italian reds. He came back with a sample. It was warm, bitter and obviously the house wine. I said is that the best you have. He said this is our fruity Pino. I should have said no, I am looking for a higher quality red but without a hand in choosing I just said ok. I asked him to chill the bottle a little in hopes of taking away some of the bitterness. We then ordered the porterhouse for two. I asked what their medium was. He said slightly pink. I said perfect. The steak arrived. Some pieces were blood red, some were over cooked. A beautiful piece of meat was ruined. The waiter never came back to ask how everything was. We ate like two pieces and couldn’t eat more. The bus boy came and asked if we wanted to wrap anything. I said ‘wrap the steak, I’ll finish cooking it at home’. I kind of expected the waiter to then ask how was everything... he didn’t. Shame on him, it reflected in his tip. They had an expansive wine menu and we would have bought one of their more interesting bottles but were offered no assistance, someone needs to retrain the waiter and the kitchen needs to learn to cook a porterhouse evenly. Such a disappointment.
Dinner was fabulous. Our server, Jordan, was very helpful and knew the menu so well. His expertise was much appreciated
Super friendly atmosphere. Service excellent. We had a group of six and ordered Rib-eye steaks that were outstanding. We sat outside on their deck by a fireplace after dinner and had after dinner drinks. It was terrific
We sat at 7:30 and were served our entrees until after 9:30. Manager came over and kept on apologizing but we still didnt get served. Brutal
Ive been going to PRIMI for 2 years now and have never had a bad thing to say until last Friday (5/17) when me and my girlfriend went for our 5 year anniversary. Our waiter ruined our whole dinner. When we were first seated i had a feeling we were going to have a problem with him since he seemed very annoyed that i didnt order a drink. We ordered the primi pizza , 2 wedge salads, cacio e pepe with shimp on the side, a tomahawk steak for two , and whipped potatoes and brussel sprouts. After the waiter took our food order he never came to the table to ask us how everything was which would of been nice since 3 of the things we ordered tastes very bad. He only came back when it was time for dessert . He did not even say anything all he did was put the menus on the table. i asked very politely for the check because i would not have wasted another dollar on that meal. We did not tip him because he did not deserve it but we did tip the bus boys.
Amazing place will definitely go back
If you want to have the optimal dining experience, go to Primi. Everything from the hostess greeting you to the amazing food, this restaurant and their staff ensure that your dining experience is one that you will never forget. I can’t praise this restaurant enough and have recommended it to all of my friends and family.
Overpriced - waiter disappeared for 20 minutes as soon as my son joined us late only to come back and tell us kitchen closed 2 minutes ago. Would not serve dinner after 9:00PM.
Yes it’s a nice place. food is very good.atmosphere is very nice, small, little noisy, good for special occasion it’s pricey
Great restaurant with a great staff. Food is absolutely delicious.
