    We had a fantastic dinner at Prime Bistro! The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious, perfectly baked and packed with flavor. The steak was cooked just right, and the mac and cheese was absolutely amazing; creamy, rich, and a must-order. We finished the meal with the salted Carmel cheesecake. On top of the great food, the service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

    This has become one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in the greater Morehead City/Emerald Isle/New Bern/Jacksonville area, our favorite for steak, and does a truly outstanding job for special occasions. While I consider it on the expensive side, we also consider it worthwhile as a treat. We've joked about cutting out 3 weekly date nights each month or changing them to takeout subs to go here more often. We haven't tried many appetizers, but the rolls are wonderful. The steaks are excellent, and a few of our favorite sauces are Black Garlic Aioli, Truffle Butter, and the Port Wine Demi. The horseradish was excellent as well. My wife prefers the filet mignon flight, and upon request (not on the menu) they added a fourth medallion at a small upcharge as quick as we asked. I've had two different NY Strips, both excellent. In two visits all steaks have been cooked exactly as preferred. The sides are also excellent, and large enough to share, which the pleasant and professional wait staff inform you of up front. Mixed drinks have been very good and on par price wise for the local area, and while we haven't enjoyed it yet they appear to have a very good wine list as well. Both desserts we've tried have been wonderful, most recently the lemon mascarpone cake, which was delightfully light after meal. Warm complimentary cookies were a nice touch as well, even after dessert. Service has been exceptional, and when reserved for both my birthday in March and most recently my wife's birthday the hosts and wait staff all greeted us with happy birthday by name, and delivered a birthday card signed by the staff to the table along with a small gift. Wait staff is knowledgeable, charming, and attentive but not annoyingly so. Courses are perfectly timed. Ambience is pleasant, and it is definitely one of the quieter restaurants around, even when relatively full. Would highly recommend for special occasions and thank you to all the staff for helping make them special!

    Nice experience. Gillian over the top waitress. Jack and staff excellent. Overall food was good, but not great. The crab cake stack appetizer was pitiful. Didn’t serve a finger size piece of crab. The bloomin onion was excellent and the steaks were good, cooked exactly as ordered. The cauliflower casserole was cooked perfectly, not mushy, and nice sauce. Loaded potato was huge and didn’t need anything like salt added. They give you a hot towel at end of meal to wipe hands and a chocolate chip cookie. Nice touch.

    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and the Prime Bistro staff made it such a special experience! It was some of the best food we have ever eaten! Perfectly prepared and timing between courses was spot on. The restaurant was packed so naturally it was a bit loud. It will definitely be our go-to place for special occasions.

    We chose Prime to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful choice. From the moment we stepped in the front door until we left, it was a great experience. We had the rolls as our appetizer, I had French onion soup, and then we shared the 16 ounce ribeye with truffle, mac & cheese, grilled asparagus, and the wild mushrooms. We finished off the evening with the vanilla crème brûlée, and it was all wonderful. Our server, Shawn, took really good care of us and made our evening special. We would definitely come back.

    The food and staff were outstanding! However, the 3 oz pour of a mediocre Cabernet, La Crema, for $18 did not fit in with the food and ambience!!! I expected to be able to get a 6 Oz or 9 oz glass of a high end wine.
