   Celebrated our 42nd anniversary. Ambience is more on the close quarter type so a little noisy. But the food is OUTSTANDING and so is the SERVICE . I recommend the 8oz filet with a wedge salad and sides for two mushrooms and enjoy. KB

   For the most part the food was great. My daughter ordered the "Chilean Sea Bass" that definitely was not sea bass, let alone Chilean Sea Bass. And even if it was, who fries Chilean Sea Bass!? It was so greasy it was unedible!!

   excellent meal. The only thing I did not like was the breaded shrimp. Two pieces deep fried had shell on them which was awkward at a business dinner. The server was wonderful, the rest of the meal excellent. the meat the guys loved! Also the sauce of the crab cakes was a little chintzy they need to be a little more generous at a fine dining place.

   Wow, a restaurant that is concerned about the noise levels. That is something that is disappearing in the restaurant industry. Ambiance is being replace by functionality and reflective surfaces. India, was amazing. We WILL be back.

    When we made reservations they ask if it was a special occasion and I said it was our anniversary and when we got there everyone wished us a happy anniversary and they also had a special anniversary card on the table which was above and beyond. That’s the type of service for a restaurant that makes you want to go back and knows they care about the customers experience! Well done!

    Nice place, drinks were good and the steak was amazing. Pre-dinner bread seemed like they were trying too hard to be different from most restaurants... tasted like a breakfast food. I was very disappointed with the crab cakes, though. Tasted like I was eating straight salt with every bite, so sad when I was very much looking forward to good crab cakes. Overall a good experience though.

    The 35 day aged Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Starters and Dessert were also exceptional. The Old Fashion was one to remember.

    As always this place is a gem. I frequent this place because the oysters are so good. the staff is amazing I always ask for the same servers Shade and Ariel they always complete my evening. I love that the staff recognizes my face and the creme brulee is a killer!!!!!!

    P&P offers a broad menu of both dry & wet aged steaks that are absolutely amazing. Smoked Old Fashioned was on point and the oysters and sides were on point. Will be back!

    Great service..food was fabulous !! A bit noisy, but not a big deal. One of the best meals we have had in Gainesville!!! The rolls with the blueberry butter is to die for. I could have eaten 20!!!

    This dinner was a celebration for our Sons achievement of A Honor Roll. Prime and Pearl is his favorite restaurant and he requests to eat here for all special occasions. We had exceptional service, as always. At the end of our dinner, our main server delivered an envelope addressed to our son with words of encouragement and congratulations for his hard work earning honor roll. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us and him. He spoke about it numerous times on the way home and placed it on his dresser to always see. We highly recommend for an amazing meal and fantastic experience.

    My husband & I enjoyed an amazing Valentine’s Day meal! Everything was fresh, delicious and served to us with a smile by Alexis. The brussel sprouts were some of the best we’ve ever had.     It was my birthday & Valentines Day. India our server was amazing , engaging, knowledgeable and a true pleasure . Oysters were crisp , cold a great treat . I totally recommend the pork belly appetizer. My lamb chops were well cooked and the Demi glas was great . My hubby’s steak apparently was a bit bland. It needed to have a moister finish . We will be back .

    The food was great. Dinner for 4--without tip--was $200+. Well prepared, tasty but just slightly-above-average presentation. The ambience of the restaurant itself was above average but could be noisy depending on the table. We drove from Ocala so given 20 min. the drive, would probably think twice about doing it again. Overall, about 3 1/2 stars.

    Food was perfect. Prepared exactly as should be. I got the Filet Mignon au poive medium rare. Well crusted with crushed peppercorns but they will prepare without and nice au poive sauce. My guest had the blackened red fish with jumbo lump crab, lots of it. Very nice piece of fish and she loved it. She offered me a couple bites and I found it delicious. We started with the fire roasted oysters. I will get those every visit. Mashed potatoes were more whipped, not my favorite but were well seasoned. My guest loved them. Asparagus was perfectly al dente and great seasonings. Our server, Sarah, knew the menu front and back as well as knowing how the food is prepared. She made the evening more perfect. DON'T miss this restaurant!!!!!!!

    With a reservation through Open Table I was placed in the bar - party of 6. When I asked why we were placed in the bar - I was told because I booked it through Open Table. They were out of Miller Lite and 3 Bourbons that we tried to order. One of our steaks was nothing but fat and cold, and had to be sent back. The server was very good but other than that it was not a great dining experience.

    The size of the restuarant and the table spacing make for a very noisy environment. This DOES NOT take away from the amazing food quality and attentiveness of the staff. We will eat there again, but will be prepared for a louder environment.

    Nice atmosphere with a creative approach to the food. Two in our party had the smoked Manhattans and declared them the best ever. The vegetables were excellent and the steaks got high marks. It is pricey, especially the wine list...it's extensive but there were few bargains. I had the tuna appetizer, which was nice albeit a bit skimpy. All in all, a fine experience which will be repeated.
