We enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. What made this experience not enjoyable was the terrible heat. it was truly unbearable. Finally one of the managers had to bring a portable air conditioning and that helped, but for most of the dinner everyone was uncomfortable and sweaty which made it very difficult to enjoy the meal. Maybe don't have part of the windows open in 90 degree weather

Service was outstanding, ambiance was upbeat but a bit trashy. The appetizers were very good but the steak was very veiny. It has potential if they tweak a few things, I will not be returning.

We visited Prime: An American Kitchen as a father s day treat for my son and husband on Father's Day. We found the hostess and all the servers extremely kind and friendly and efficient. The noise level was above average, but I'm sure that is because it was a holiday and crowded even at 6 pm. We were seated, as requested at a window with a water view. My son's steak was underdone but it was heated up and returned quickly. My husband's beef wellington was requested to be rare but it was done more than medium. He didn't want to wait for another wellington so the server brought him a rare filet magnon which was done just right. I requested horse radish sauce for my steak and my son and husband requested the same. The server brought a small pitcher of horse radish "cream" which didn't have the usual bite that horse radish sauce has. I was surprised when the bill listed that request at $6.00! But, overall the four of us enjoyed their meal and dessert of creme brulee. We will keep this restaurant in mind for special occasions.

It was a beautiful Father's Day experience! Very welcoming and the food/beverages were delicious. It was also the perfect environment for my 2-year old toddler who enjoyed the waterfront views and engaging staff.
