Surprisingly delicious vegan options!!! And many to choose from!

Went there for my friend and I’s bday dinner, over all food was good service was good but I can tell she was new and got easily frustrated for a table of 6. Lady’s at the front and other staffs were nice. They had a comedy show later on that night so it kind of clashed with the fine dinning experience. Loved the free bday dessert.

Service, ambiance, and food are all completely wonderful. We would highly recommend Prime 6 .....and will definitely be back!

The reason why we went there is it's the only restaurant Downtown that has a vegan menu (other than The Depot where you can't hear anything). I was excited when I found out they had added a vegan menu because we could then go out to eat Downtown prior to our annual trip to see the New Standards Holiday Show at the State. The food was amazing! I had the vegan crabcake, and a friend ordered the beans. Although the beans weren't on the vegan menu (be sure to add them, please!), we found out that they are indeed vegan! Our server, though, was one of my favorite parts of the experience. He was so sweet and knew the vegan menu really well, meaning he knew exactly what to recommend. He also kept checking on us, and we always had someone bringing us water. The staff was excellent! I was bummed that I couldn't have the popovers, though. Is there a vegan popover recipe that might be in your chef's future? Otherwise, is there something you could give to the vegans so they still have something to eat before the meal, rather than us feeling like we are left out because we choose not to eat dairy and eggs? We are still paying for it in the cost of our meal, so please think about what that vegan alternative could be. You would have a corner on the market, though, if you had a vegan popover. In fact, just make all of them vegan. Then almost everyone can eat them!

Me and my husband had data night early dinner before the Nutcracker. Our waiter Phil was fantastic and took great care of us. The Prime6 steak was amazing.

The Entrees were fine if a bit overpriced. Good music venue

The food was very good and our server Alex was spot on with his recommendations. We were there on a Sunday when they first opened at 4:15pm so is was very slow and quiet. We are planning a party of 12 on a Saturday just before Christmas so we should get a feel for what a busy night will be like. Will report back then.

Excellent!

It was a bustling Friday night at Prime 6...said no one ever. The first sign should have been when we were seated in a nearly empty restaurant and were promptly spilled on by the gentleman bringing our waters. The crime scene was so disastrous that we had to move tables. Accidents happen, and we were willing to proceed with our evening. New menus were procured after several requests for replacements of our water-logged originals and we were eventually able to place our appetizer orders. The minutes ticked by...and by...and by. After a minimum of forty minutes, we received our two appetizers and a good deal of time later our entrees were delivered after inquiring multiple times for each. The food was the only positive of our entire experience, and everyone was happy with their meals. Our curtain call was quickly approaching and we requested our bill. Twenty minutes later it still had not been delivered and the waiter was struggling to split our bill - even though we had told him to keep it together if it was easier.

Basically, the service was a slow, miserable, disaster and almost made us late for our show. And, the lights were far too harsh. Ugh. Will never return.

The best Vegan dinner menu in Minnesota! Excellent service. There is something for everyone here. We'll be back again.

I had never heard of this new restaurant, but booked it, as it had a decent review and it was one of the few options. The food was INCREDIBLE, best meal I have had in a long time! Steak and lobster Mac and cheese was to die for! The downfall of this place is the “ambiance”... it is modern and beautiful, but has a bar/night club vibe, with dance music in the background. Would I go here with coworkers for happy hour? Yes. To dance/party after 10pm? Yes. Romantic dinner? No. Business dinner? No.

We had a horrible experience at this restaurant and will never return. It took 25 minutes to get a drink after we initially were seated. We ordered the porterhouse and it was a T bone. If a steak restaurant that pushes the prices they are charging, doesn’t know the difference between a porterhouse and T bone, this place is ripping people off in my opinion. On top of that, the quality of meat was something you buy at Cub. The ambiance along with the menu is confusing and has no direction. Is it a dance club or fine dining? Who knows, but people we’re bumping and grinding to hip hop during our meal. I hate throwing away hard earned money but that’s what happened. Stay far away from this place in my opinion.

Horrible service. Waited 30 mins for table with a reservation. Took 2 hours to get our food. A lot of inaccuracies in the food order. Server was very slow and unattentive.

Major disappointment. Made a reservation for 4 at 7:30. Showed up at 7:15 prepared to grab a drink at the bar first. Walked in to a crowded foyer. After a few minutes I asked some ladies who were handing out wristbands if they were the hosts. Nope they were prepping for a bar crawl. Red flag. A bar crawl at a fine dining restaurant? Meh. Made our way to the bar and ordered drinks. Quick, easy, and tasty drinks. Noticed the staff were all dressed up for Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Halloween, I just don't think it's appropriate for staff at a fine dining restaurant. I mean, one of the guys was wearing a Winnie the Pooh onesie that was older than he was. Checked in with the hostess when we finally saw her and she brought us to our table. We sat there for 15 minutes before I noticed the two couples who walked in ahead of us were also still sitting at their table with seemingly no service. A few minutes later I asked the couple next to us if they had seen a server yet. Nope. Then I look over at the other couple and they are leaving. We quickly followed suit. I'm not about to buy a $65 steak if you can't get your service right. We walked over to Murray's, sat down immediately despite a full restaurant, had amazing service, drinks, and food. $800 later and we were very satisfied...with Murray's!

My food came out cold. The service was very understanding of my frustrations but by the time I got my food heated up my wife was already 90% done with her meal.

The food and the service at Prime 6 was great. We had a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday party. Everything was excellent that night including the cake.

Was there for 10 minutes and no one even said hi. They had a $20 cover at the door for a dj playing music basically off of Spotify. When we asked for our $20 back because we were leaving because we were not helped out, the door lady was rude and refused. Eventually the manager came over and gave us our money back.

Excellent steak! Although a tad pricey, nonetheless the meal was fabulous. We got a side portion of hash browns which were fantastic. I have never had hash browns so good - note, they are NOT a casserole variety- great!

Service was outstanding- every detail attended to. Ambience was nice too.

Definitely would recommend for an anniversary or business meal if your budget allows!

The drinks and the vegan menu was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!

Was expecting a full restaurant on a Saturday evening where we couldn’t find a table at our regular restaurants.

Staff was friendly. It took a long long time to get our food, which seemed strange because there were so few people there.

The food was good. I thought a little more expensive than expected. I had the Prime 6 Fillet for $65. Just didn’t seem like $65 on my plate when it arrived.

Really nice on the inside....just not a happening place. I wouldn’t go back. I have a feeling it won’t be there if we do go back.

The really good this is that we did get a table on a busy night, but I guess others may have been there before us and decided not to go back.

Wife’s birthday

Service and food was great! We were visiting from Cincinnati and wanted to experience the food and atmosphere. The restaurant lived up to our expectations. It also helped to know that it was restaurant week. We enjoyed! Well done

The Prime 6 filet was amazing, very tender and flavorful. The halibut was also very good, as were the Brussels sprouts. We were seated in a back room which was sort of odd and our server was pleasant but not readily available as he seemed busy in the main dining area.

I read some online reviews criticizing the service, and claiming the service was slow. We dined during Restaurant Week, on Friday, October 19th, with a 7:30 reservation. The restaurant was not full when we arrived, but was nearly full shortly after. The waiter and other staff were very quick and attentive. I don't know what some of the online reviewers were talking about, but I see several dined on June 30th, trying to squeeze in dinner before the Jimmy Buffett/Eagles concert. Anyhow, about the food and drink. My wife liked her reasonably priced wine, and the draft beer was notably more fresh than many restaurants serve. We each ordered a Darbaki Cigar appetizer, which was quite different and very good. The prime beef with lump crab was delicious. The dessert of fresh fruit Foster was quite good. Overall, a great experience. If you are downtown, maybe heading to a show at a Hennepin Avenue theater, I recommend this restaurant.

We were there for restuarant week. We came at a time where is was really quiet. The waitress kept on getting our orders wrong. She would bring us our appitizers and dessert right after. She skipped our entree. When she did bring out the dessert she gave us forks for them. Our desserts were pana cotta and creme brulee. Not sure how she thinks that we would be able to eat them with forks.

Food is gorgeous and beautifully plated. Our server was a doll — attentive, but not intrusive. Staff is all very friendly and seemed sincerely interested in ensuring we had a great dining experience. Loved that it’s far more than a steak and seafood place. The Mediterranean tapas and sushi were really nice to see on the menu. Also, suggest saving room for dessert. Had the panna cotta made with organic yogurt and a balsamic reduction— it was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This was my first time since Prime 6 opened, but I recently sent my group there to have dinner. My son has a SEVERE onion allergy and the staff was very accommodating. The service "OMG OUTSTANDING" we had the best waiter EVER. Even the manager helped out which is good to see as well. All around great experience. Paid $135 for 4 ppl, for lunch so it is expensive, but the food was excellent and I didn't mind paying.

Loved Prime 6. Had an amazing filet steak dinner, it literally melted in my mouth. The staff was wonderful and had so much fun enjoying the dueling piano performers.

The menu was outstanding. The ambiance was great. The piano bar noise level was a bit too much for casual conversation. We definitely be back though!

The service was horrible. In 2 hours we received 2 drinks. We asked multiple times for another drink but the waiter took his time to bring drinks. Sat for about 5 minutes with our steak in front of us but no utinsils. The food isn’t worth being treated that poorly. Skip this place and go anywhere else.
