Paulie was fantastic as usual!
Too noisy and tables too close. Hard o have a conversation but food is good
The VERY Best Italian restaurant! Outstanding food and knowledgeable service.
This restaurant was recommended by a hotel concierge. There are so many Italian restaurants in this area and we had only a short time to visit. It was so disappointing that we ended up here! The food preparation was tasteless and really ruined what would have been fresh ingredients. Chicken parmigiana was prepared with completely uncooked lumps of canned tomatoes, with no seasoning. Literally someone opened a can and poured it on a chicken cutlet. The shrimp scampi was in a watery butter sauce. Again no seasoning. No garlic. No taste. The broccoli rabe was served with Parmesan cheese. Apart from the fact that I have never ever seen broccoli rabe served with cheese anywhere ( and I am Italian American from NJ and have dined across the country in both restaurants and homes of Italian Americans and in Italy too) the broccoli rabe was undercooked, had no flavor and no seasoning. Olive oil smeared with tons of cheese. I honestly have no idea how this restaurant has gotten such good reviews. I can only conclude that the diners who reviewed this place have no idea what goes into good Italian preparation. This is not “new Italian cuisine.” It is flavorless food thrown together to appear Italian
Great ambience. The mushroom Rizzo toe was to die for. Excellent wine list we had a bottle of Bartolo. We were a party of six and had the dessert sampler which was very good .
one our favorite places to eat, very good wine list.
A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. They have an expansive wine list. We had the Burrata and Meatballs for appetizers and they were delicious. As for the main courses, they were good, but not memorable.
The server wasn’t helpful in explaining the dishes; the place seemed a bit racially charged. The food was overpriced and overrated.
Prezza is our "North End favorite". We live in Vermont and when we are in Boston, Prezza is our go-to restaurant. Great Italian food, and a fantastic staff. We've never been disappointed!
Food was great! After a trip to Italy this is defiantly right there with dining in Italy! The risotto was incredible!
Authentic Italian food and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Best Bologna’s ever!
Third time at Prezza and another outstanding meal! Best Italian in Boston in my opinion. Fresh creative and delicious.
Hip, sleek ambiance too. Will be back.
Unfortunately had to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation. Food was great, pleasant atmosphere!
Cozy. Great ambiance. Very attentive and friendly staff.
When in the North End, people usually go to Hanover St. This gem is on Fleet St. Unassuming from the outside, beautiful on the inside. They have a great cocktail & wine list. We had the mushroom risotto & Fig bruschetta, both were amazing. We also had chicken parm & the braised rabbit ravioli for dinner. Although their Sunday gravy is not what I grew up with, the chicken parm was quite good. The ravioli was outstanding. For dessert it was pistachio ice cream & blueberry/peach shortbread. Both were absolutely delicious! The service was wonderful as well. I highly recommend!
Very good overall.
The food was lacking in quality, but the service was the real problem. Getting our server’s attention was nearly impossible. She also did not mention that the ravioli entree I ordered was only one medium sized ravioli, which would have been helpful. It took her 20 minutes to come back after we got our food and she was even rude when I tried to order more. None of the many, many managers standing around in suits came by to check on us either, although one did stare at us while chomping on his gum. I paid with a gift card and was sad to learn that we didn’t spend the whole thing because it means we will have to come back!
Amazing food and wonderful wine list! You will not be disappointed!
Unbelievable food. Great service. By far one of my new favorites on the North End!
We were recommended to Prezza by good foodie friends. The service was fabulous. Our waiter and support staff were absolutely fantastic. The food was fairly pedestrian for the North End and the prices were a bit high, particularly the wine. We had 5 people celebrating a birthday and all of us had the same comment on the menu: we couldn't find something we loved. It seemed that every dish had a component that made it less than desirable. We all settled. When I go to an Italian themed restaurant, I usually have a tough choice because there are so many appealing menu items. Here, we were all trying to just find something we could enjoy. One final comment; there was person there who I am assuming was the manager. He was pacing near the bar, not far from our table. He made me feel as though we were stealing silverware or overstayed our welcome. Not good. Again though, the service was first class.
Amazing meal. Corn raviolini spectacular! Service excellent.
Lamb was tasty but really fatty. Service was excellent
Date night with a train schedule for home. Fantastic service, superb food. Chef caught a 300 lb tuna, so menu was tuna-focused. Had tuna app and sea scallops, suberb
Great spot for fantastic Italian fare!
Had a great meal with excellent, friendly service. We were having an early dinner with family and friends and all were really pleased with the food. The red snapper was outstanding. Will be anxious to have that again. The appetizer one of our guests raved about was clam chowder with fried clams on top and potatoes below. It was unusual and a big success. All five of us were so glad we dined there.
Prezza is the best restaurant in the North End. Food and service excellent.
Great food, fine service, nice location in the historic North End of Boston.
From the first bite to the last sip, everything was perfect!
Food was excellent. Great wine list. Not too noisy if a space. Romantic but we had the kids and the kids really enjoyed their food too. Highly recommend the grilled octopus app and the pasta bolognese and the crispy pork chop too.
Upscale Italian. Food was crave-able. Outside of restaurant was decieving to how elegant and trendy the inside atmosphere was.
Perfect choice for dinner in the North End!
Excellent food, service and atmosphere
Our meal started with the finest artisanal bread. Pasta was made in-house and was outstanding. All entrees were excellent.
Great authentic Italian food just steps from the crowds on Hanover.
Food was meager in size mediocre in taste. Not a lot of variety in the menu.Open table listed as a moderately plaque priced restaurant but I think it was more expensive than that
The food and service were impeccable! Our dinner reflected variations of food we knew but with very interesting twists. Highly recommend it!!!
Waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu and couldn’t answer any questions or make recommendations. Pasta was undercooked and had to be sent back. Mushroom risotto was fantastic.
The food and our waiter were both excellent. We really enjoyed our experience!
Best place in the city. The food is always fresh the best ingredients service is top notch. I love this place.
Wonderful dinner after sailing at Boston Sailing Center. Wine, apps, dinner and dessert were amazing.
