Delightful place. We had a wonderful meal and great service. The roasted fig appetizer, Corn Raviolini and Buccatini with blue fin tuna were awesome. Great wine selection, though probably too many to choose from but we had a dry rose recommended by our waiter that was very good. Also, highly recommend the white chocolate bread pudding and roasted peaches we had for dessert.
My husband and I had a date night here. While it was nice, decent food and service, nothing tasted or was extraordinary, including service. Also, the food came WAY too soon. Probably less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. I got the halibut and my husband got the Bolognese. Normally, that doesn't sound like something to complain about, but we thought perhaps it was another table's meals and were given it by accident. It came before the bread, etc.
We loved it. I can’t wait to go back.
Our waiter, Pauly, was phenomenal! He recommended five meals, so the five of us went with his recommendations, and our meals were ALL spot on and DELICIOUS! The cocktails were delicious, as were the desserts (and again, all Pauly choices)! Obviously, the service was outstanding!
With over 100 restaurants in the north end, how do you choose? Thankfully Prezza posted their menu outside. The brilliant recipes were just too good to pass up. The fig appetizers were amazing. Fresh bread and olive oil flavorful. I had the homemade lobster ravioli that was perfection. My friend had the corn ravioli that was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. If you are looking for inspired Italian and not the "same old, same old". This is the place for you.
Good food and great service. Spaghetti and meatballs was outstanding. The porkchop was a little dry. Great deserts.
Great meal and great service. This was the best meal I’ve had in the North End and has to be one of the best restaurants in the city. The food was excellent, particularly the items cooked on the wood grill - we had grilled octopus and the veal chop. And the ravioli di uovo is a must have.
The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Food was excellent.
Great food and amazing service tuna and squid/ octopus apps were out if this world!!
We each had a delicious meal and the service was excellent. I had the seafood stew that was great and my husband had the veal chop that he enjoyed very much. We have already recommended Prezza to others.
Food was great but not as big of portions that I was expecting for the price of the plate. Ambience was a bit loud ,couldn’t really hear my husband talking. They have a huge selection of wine which is great if you are big wine drinker. The staff was great.
Prezza never misses the mark on food or service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in a great setting.
Great wine amazing food amazing service!
We will be back!!
We were in Boston and love the Italian restaurants on the North Side. We wanted to try one that we haven't tried before and decided on Prezza. The restaurant is on the modern side, but cozy, nevertheless. It was very hot in there, as their a/c had gone out. I wish they had told us that when we were seated. We probably would have gone somewhere else. The heat was stifling. In any event, we had an 11-y.o. somewhat picky eater with us and they made every effort to accommodate her and did. She loved her cheese ravioli meal. Our appetizer of figs with blue cheese wrapped in prosciutto was good, but not as good as it could have been. The baking took something away from the dish. My lobster gnocchi was fantastic, as was my husband's meatball, short rib, sausage and polenta dish. Both were really outstanding. The white chocolate bread pudding was dry. It needed more sauce. Being from New Orleans, we know a good bread pudding and this one would have been fine if properly sauced. The service was okay. I wouldn't call it attentive, nor would I call it inattentive. It was not particularly friendly, but was better than in most restaurants that we ate in on this trip. On the whole, I would recommend this restaurant.
We have eaten here for years and the food is always excellent.
The service wasn’t as good as usual this time for some reason.
We were not checked on after food delivery so no cheese or pepper this trip??
We will go back and try again next time.
Fabulous! The crispy shrimp appetizer is still on my mind. The grilled swordfish was superb. Our server was insightful in our wine selection and attentive throughout the meal. Highly recommend. We’ll be back when in Boston again.
What a wonderful meal we had on our first trip to Boston in the North End. Prezza did not disappoint!
Heard the Bolognese was fabulous - it was not. Tasteless and starchy.
Lobster gnocchi was fantastic...perfect marriage of flavors, lobster was clearly fresh/flavorful and the gnocchi was light and delicate (not heavy as it often is).
First time that I have tried this place. My wife had the Chicken Marsala and loved it. I had the Pork Chop which was very good and our friend had the pasta. Everyone was happy with the meal and the portions were very fair. Even shared a great dessert.
Once again, the service was great, the wine was excellent and the food was phenomenal. Everone in our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed their meal, and we will be back soon!
A top notch restaurant in every way. Food. Ambience. Service. Wine list. Okay, no view, but who needs it.
Appetizer and cocktails were wonderful. Both main dishes were average. It is painfully loud and I couldn’t even hold a conversation with my dining partner.
We haven't been for a while and the restaurant is the same - very good food. Our waiter was a veteran and worked with us on our selections as we like to share plates and sample as much as we can without overdoing it - and we succeeded. Only complaint was we were at the back of the house and it was warm almost hot while the front of the house when we were leaving was very cold - old buildings in the north end can't get the AC balance right but over all an enjoyable evening will go back.
Top shelf service, food and surroundings. Creative daily menu that offers good variety. We will be back.
Our experience was nothing less than exceptional. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and the food was outstanding. We will be going again and thank you Prezza for the delightful evening.
We were late due to traffic and called restaurant to let them know. Excellent service.
Dinner for six, a friend’s birthday. Nice table, perfect size. We could be in one conversation or split up. Ditto with the food. (We tend to share). We ordered two different kinds of wine by the bottle, and the server kept them straight. Prezza’s food is always dependably great. Scallops perfectly cooked. Bolognese yummy and rich, though I prefer (sister restaurant) Tonno’s classic version without morels. Our server brought us a festive birthday selection of desserts so everybody got a taste of the offerings. On top of everything culinary, it’s great that Prezza has a parking lot so I could make a quick getaway.
excellent food and service! Will return next time I am in Boston!
Service is top notch. Great menu selection and the food was cooked to perfection. Appetizers were interesting and delicious. I'm not a dessert person, but their white chocolate bread pudding has me coming back another time. Would recommend Prezza to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic dinner in Boston's busy north end.
We loved our meal here. Delicious ricotta and mushroom ravioli. They split it so we could share it as our first course. The red snapper was done perfectly with a light arugula and tomato salad and a lemon caper sauce. Our waiter and all the others who served us were warm and welcoming. We will come here again!
Food was delicious, service was excellent and wine was fantastic!!
The food was amazing and Paul our waiter was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed, as a matter of fact you will be delighted! It my second time dining there and I’ll go back again!
Exceptionally good food put together in novel ways a must if you love the Boston restaurant scene
The service was great! The food was even better. The corn raviolini was fabulous. We shared a couple of apps that were really good as well. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful food, exceptional service, unique experience. Tasteful. Helpful.
There are lots of places to eat in the North End, many of them quite good. A friend told us about Prezza, and we have thanked him profusely. It's tucked away on a rather austere block. The exterior of the restaurant is drab, but the interior is quite handsome. This was our anniversary dinner, and we felt like we couldn't have made a better choice. The service was excellent. The price of our bottle of wine was quite reasonable, knowing what it sells for in retail shops. My wife and I both started with the octopus and squid dish. Perfectly cooked and quite tasty. My wife enjoyed the tuna that followed, and my lamb loin was delicious. We'll be back.
My husband and I were visiting Boston to celebrate an anniversary and recent retirement. We selected Prezza on recommendations and were not disappointed. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was amazing - the tuna and scallops were prepared to perfection- the corn raviolitini was sweet and savory. The only false note was dessert which was a white chocolate bread pudding - too sweet for my palate. The noise level was high - but we will be going back.
We had dinner on a Saturday night for our Anniversary. It was excellent in every way! I really liked the menu offerings. The service was great. The food was wonderful. It was a little bit expensive, but will go back.
Wonderfully authentic dinning experience. Nestled in the heart of little Italy, from there handmade pastas to fresh caught seafood, Prezza is a perfect spot for real foodies!
