So happy I found Prezza! An admittedly accidental find, the menu is tight, focused, and well executed. Our service from arrival through dessert was impeccable and unobtrusive. The pasta is amazing, and the recipes complement perfectly.

All the food was absolutely delicious! The fresh pasta was amazing, the mushroom risotto was rich and heavenly, and even the bread and olive oil at the beginning of the meal was delicious and clearly very fresh.

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately the dinner I had with my adult children wasn’t the quality I came to expect. Lamb chops were served rare not medium.
Ravioli just average. Just not as good as it used to be.

We started off with the charcuterie plate with cheese. Best pepperoni I ever had. I would go back just for that, and I'm not usually a big fan of pepperoni.

My husband had a wonderful pasta dish. My picky son was thrilled with his steak and he ate vegetables! (grilled asparagus). I had some lovely wine Etna Rossi with a delicious fish stew.

All in all - a lovely evening

Food was overpriced for amount quality was good / average.
Service seemed rushed. Waitress barely spoke and was cold. It seemed we were treated as out of town tourists who they would never see again, and they wont, although we are local.
Got a pre dinner drink at the bar and although the drink was good the service and hospitality was poor.
Someone who seemed like the manager spent the entire time we were there visiting two woman at a table and no one else? Friends relatives or creepy but no service to anyone else.

our waiter was awesome the food quality was very good we all know you get what you pay for and i would recommend the apps wines drinks for sure the whole experience was great i just don't see the price point on the entrees as a general going to dinner on a semi regular basis i felt the entree prices were $$ just my opinion, but the staff and quality is very very good.

The best food, homemade, plenty of great options. Prezza is fine dining, clean, great service enjoy before a game or a special occasion or just hey let’s get the best meal.

Sunday night dinner has the added Sunday Gravy menu and its a hit. He enjoyed the eggplant parm and added meatballs from the appetizer menu. For me the appetizer grilled clams and sausages with a side of broccoli rabe was a good dinner. The sausages were so good we will be back for a Monday night Grill Night menu that includes sausages. The menu offerings are wide ranging and sure to please. For dessert the pistachio icecream and cookie hit the right spot.

We had a wonderful meal here. I made reservations a few hours before we wanted to go out, which I'm glad I thought to, because the place was packed when we got there. The food was fantastic, even the bread and olive oil to dip it in was better than average, which is saying something for a restaurant in the North End, which has no shortage of great restaurants. The absolute star of the show was the octopus and squid appetizer, which I could have eaten buckets of and nothing else. The pasta entrees were just the right amount - we were both full but not uncomfortably stuffed, and had no leftovers to take home. Pretty standard list of desserts, tasty but not extraordinary. The wine was nice and the service was very good. It was a loud restaurant, and sometimes hard to hear my dinner companion over the tables near us, but we also happened to be sitting between two boisterous parties. All in all, very lovely evening.

We just ate here on Friday. Food was very good. We tried the grilled octopus that others recommended. Very good. The rest of our meal was good. The service was almost impolite. When we wanted to order just an app first then wanted to decide on an entree to make our evening last our waiter seemed to have been annoyed. He did not make eye contact after that. Short answers to our questions and basically ignored us the rest of the evening. That kind of service left a bad taste in our mouths.

I enjoyed the experience as soon as I walked in. The greeter was very pleasant. The wine list was not intimidating. And, our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. I went with my family and we all enjoyed our food. I ordered the shrimp appetizer and the veal. Both were excellent and would order them again. Prezza is definitely on my 'go to' restaurant list.

Not a good place for having italian food. If you wanna experiment, go ahead.

But if you wanna have real Italian food, skip it look for somewhere else.

Cause owned by it's own chef this place has lost ability to criticize itself I believe.

I chose Prezza due to numerous recommendations of respected foodies and blogs online. They all touted the romance of the place so I took my wife on a date there. When we walked in, I must admit I was a bit surprised as it felt like an upscale sports bar upon first glance.

We laughed at the first impression and began ordering after the attentive server came and promptly took our wine orders and letting us know the specials. She was particularly attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive or overbearing; a particularly fine balance of attributes that I like in servers. We were never left waiting for long periods of time between updates and/or refills of water or wine. She was also extremely pleasant and capable of answering all of our questions about the dishes and wine.

Then there was the food... oh my... the food. This is the type of finesse and craft that only generations of Italians are typically capable of in my experience. We decided to share a number of dishes rather than order separately in order to experience the various sections of the menu.

From the cold starters we chose the burrata and beet salad. The creaminess of the burrata and the tart of the beets and pistachio vinaigrette were a perfect pair. There were some micro greens on the plate as well but they honestly didn't add much to the dish other than some pop of vibrant green.

The gnocchi was perfect and tossed in a luxurious veal stock and tomato sauce giving it a savory twist of a meat sauce without having to worry about the correct tomato-to-meat ratio. It was not overly heavy either which was a surprise as I expected it to have a certain greasiness to it but it was as smooth as silk to the bit and left no real trace of oil or grease afterwards.

The dessert menu also looked fantastic, but we had already committed to Mike's Pastry; so we had to save that treat for another night Prezza, but thank you for the fantastic meal.

This restaurant was recommended by a hotel concierge. There are so many Italian restaurants in this area and we had only a short time to visit. It was so disappointing that we ended up here! The food preparation was tasteless and really ruined what would have been fresh ingredients. Chicken parmigiana was prepared with completely uncooked lumps of canned tomatoes, with no seasoning. Literally someone opened a can and poured it on a chicken cutlet. The shrimp scampi was in a watery butter sauce. Again no seasoning. No garlic. No taste. The broccoli rabe was served with Parmesan cheese. Apart from the fact that I have never ever seen broccoli rabe served with cheese anywhere ( and I am Italian American from NJ and have dined across the country in both restaurants and homes of Italian Americans and in Italy too) the broccoli rabe was undercooked, had no flavor and no seasoning. Olive oil smeared with tons of cheese. I honestly have no idea how this restaurant has gotten such good reviews. I can only conclude that the diners who reviewed this place have no idea what goes into good Italian preparation. This is not “new Italian cuisine.” It is flavorless food thrown together to appear Italian

Great ambience. The mushroom Rizzo toe was to die for. Excellent wine list we had a bottle of Bartolo. We were a party of six and had the dessert sampler which was very good .

A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. They have an expansive wine list. We had the Burrata and Meatballs for appetizers and they were delicious. As for the main courses, they were good, but not memorable.

Prezza is our "North End favorite". We live in Vermont and when we are in Boston, Prezza is our go-to restaurant. Great Italian food, and a fantastic staff. We've never been disappointed!

We came most recently before seeing Elton John. Service was prompt, yet friendly, and the food was excellent. They were prepared for the early rush (60% of reservations that night were prior to 7 pm due to the concert), and quality was still excellent.
