5 friends celebrating a birthday while visiting Boston. Just an exceptional experience, the menu is very creative and diverse and expertly prepared. We each ordered at least 3 courses and they were all fantastic (softshell crab was the only below average). Our server Clarissa was spot on from the first moment, really exceptional. Thanks to all for making a memorable experience.
We ordered the tagliatelle at our waiter’s recommendation. It was under seasoned or missing something so we were disappointed. We also ordered the gnocchi which was very good.
Always a great meal at Prezza. Food is consistent and delicious. Great martinis also. Paul is the best!
Best Italian food I’ve ever had! Service and ambiance was beautiful!
Came here because of recommendation and it definitely did not disappoint. Everyone loved the homemade pasta dishes. Each was scrumptious! Very good wine list and decadent desserts! All parties in our group raved about their meals! Nice valet parking right across street which is a plus. Definitely recommend this place for your trip to the Old Northend!
My new favorite North End restaurant. Our server Ron provided exquisite attention and service. The food was phenomenal, delicately prepared and needing nothing except accolades. Would fully recommend to anyone.
First time in Boston and had to try Little Italy. Were not disappointed! Our waiter took great care of us and we had an amazing meal! Thanks!
Unfortunately Prezza has gone considerably down hill since our last visit a year or so ago. All other of our dozen or so visits were very good We were disappointed in the menu as well as the food itself. Just very ordinary. The portions also appeared to be considerably smaller.
I always felt this restaurant was special but now, something is lacking.
The food was outstanding as was the service. I had the egg yolk ravioli which has always been on my list of things I wanted to try and it did not disappoint. We also shared the seared tuna and it was fantastic. Would definitely go again!
Food is pretty good. Love the hams, so delicious. Very traditional italian food.
Went on a Friday night at 8 pm and it was VERY loud. Granted there were a few large group of 8 and 10 but even after they left the high noise level returned once the tables were split into 2's and 4's and more people came. Despite the noise, the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! But there are way more protein choices than pasta..... (pork chops, fish, steak, chicken, etc.) which surprised me a lot since they tout themselves as an Italian restaurant that makes their own pasta. So if you are looking for an Italian place with lots of pasta choices, not the place for you. If you have a big group that wants more than pasta, wants a huge expensive wine list, and a place with great food where you don't have to worry about how loud your group is, this place is perfect. If you and your date want a quiet romantic date place to talk quietly, pick one of the many places available in the North End with fewer tables that are close together. If you do go, don't miss the white chocolate bread pudding or the caprese salad.
Great North End Reataurant. One of the top of the 200in the North End of Boston.
This was a mixed experience. A friend had recommended it as his favorite Boston restaurant. The service was very good, and the food was excellent. However there were several large and very noisy groups the night we visited and the noise level was incredibly high, making normal conversation impossible, which for us spoiled the entire experience.
Great service and great food. As always! One table of 8 was very loud which spoiled the ambiance a bit.
Excellent food and great selection. Handmade pasta was excellent. Big portions too.
Everyone at the table thought the food was excellent
Third time here, always have a great meal!
I was initially excited to dine at Prezza as it always looked so cozy from the outside. Well, cozy is what we got. It was Mother's Day and my son and I were led to the back of the restaurant and seated against a wall divider at a table nearly on top of a large party next to us. I felt crammed in and claustrophobic. The restaurant didn't appear full so I'm not sure why we were seated at what felt like the table reserved for kids at family Thanksgivings. Food was OK as the menu was limited to brunch only and I was disappointed as I was looking forward to the menu I had looked at online. The waiter was gracious enough, but that was about it for the positive side.
Excellent restaurant in the north end. I've sampled plenty of restaurants in the north end and this is definitely now on my 'favorites' list. The service was awesome, the food excellent, and the wine list extensive. What more could you ask for?
Best food in the North End!
We’ve been to Prezza many times over the years and can always count on a delicious meal and memorable experience. Everything is well-prepared, inventive but not over the top. The wine list has something great at many price points. The service is very professional and friendly.
Very sophisticated, spacious restaurant. Unlike many North End eateries you are not eating off each other’s plates, or constantly being jostled by other diners or servers. This is very nice for conversation and digestion. Good menu with a variety of updated favorites and very interesting dishes. They make accommodations easily without drama. Our food was great, cocktails perfect, solid wine list.... we drank a great Amarone. Not a dessert fan but we shared the Tiramisu and it was spectacular! I would come back for that alone. We did linger over dessert and after dinner drinks, not realizing we were the last patrons, nor how late it was..... not a peep out of the staff the were quietly sitting waiting for us to finish. It was a perfectly hospitable way to end the evening and exceedingly rare.
best food ever . Atmosphere was fantastic and the service was great
Our favorite North End place! Great food and impeccable service always!
My family and I love Prezza. It is our favorite of all the North End Restaurants. Great food, excellent service, very accommodating staff. Go Prezza!!!
Well if I could rate higher than 5 stars across the board, I would!
The food was amazing. Better than that was our server Sean. We will be back. Thank you.
Had the Veal and Egg Yoke Raviolli. Both were near perfect. The sound level was a bit high, the place is small and could use some better sound isolation between tables but overall a good place to impress a date.
Great food, wine and service. Al was a great server. The seafood was great as well as the gnocchi. My wife was impressed that I took her there on our trip to Boston last weekend.
We took the recommendations posted on-line for a good Italian restaurant in the North End. There were plenty of choices and we chose this one. To their credit, the ambiance is very nice. The staff courteous, knowledgable and well trained. Be wary of the men's social club next door. The men were outside on the sidewalk drinking beers, checking out the ladies as they walked past.
Our starter of grilled Octopus and Squid with white beans was very good. Nicely flavored and tender. The bread basket served with olives in the olive oil was great.
Then came the entrees. The house specialty was a homemade Tagliatelle a La Bolognese. This where it went bad. The pasta was cooked way beyond al dente, to a point of mush. It was way over sauced. It was served looking more like a bowl of Cincinnati Chili than a $28 pasta. I was going to send it back, but the next table was served the same thing, the same way. I figured why bother. My wife had the Grilled Tuna that was under seasoned. The grilled asparagus side dish was ok. We should have tripled up on the octopus. We did not order dessert because we were afraid of having a $10 disappointment, opting for great down the street.
Delicious food, great service and wonderful ambience.
Prezza, in my book, is the BEST restaurant in the North End of Boston! From Mackenzie who welcomed us, took our coats and seated us (called a cab at the end of the dinner too) to Luca whose impeccable service and knowledge of the menu is beyond compare, we were thrilled with our dinner at Prezza!
The Buffalo mozzarella with tomato, salad course, gnocchi with lobster sauce, CRISPY SHRIMP, and three meats ( meatballs, sausage, rib with red sauce) were exceptional!!!
Any time I am in Boston, this is my GO TO restaurant!!!! Well done, Prezza!
David Petrilli, the GM always takes care of me and my family and friends when we come to Prezza. My cousin came for a Pre Celtics Playoff very good meal for playoff good luck and it worked! Boston Sports aside, Prezza offers delicious, seasonal ingredients and innovative Italian cuisine that is always wonderful. Being a wine snob, there is an award winning wine list w/ great choices...thanks for a great meal!
Celtics pregame dinner
We arrived early and we were seated right away. Bread was warm and was delicious with the warm olives. Great wine selection. Crab cake appetizer was okay. No lump meat just flaked crab meat but favor was good. I got the mushroom risotto as my entree. It was excellent. My husband got the gnocchi. Not like the puffy clouds of potato gnocchi I expected. Very small little pieces but flavor was good. The place was very loud with TVs like a sports bar, not what I wanted for celebrating a special anniversary.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and excellent service. Fantastic restaurant!!!!
Not a ton of flavor in the Seafood Stew or the Corriandor Tuna. Both were very bland. For the prices I was expecting more.
Tagiatle Bolognese and wood fire bone-in sirloin - so good!
Always excellent. The restaurant honored my request for a table (booth) closer to the front of the restaurant. Service and food were both excellent...I had the lobster gnocchi. Delicious!
