Just a beautiful and quaint place. I enjoyed the dumplings and Mac n cheese balls (much larger than I expected). My husband had the steak frites. Can’t wait to visit again

The staff was incredible. Slight delay in our reservation but they communicated with us and took care of us during our very minor wait. We split a few of the small plates and were impressed with everything we got. Our server helped us with our wine selection and helped us try some new wines after describing what we normally like. Will be returning.

My friend and I went for a girls night and had the best experience! My steak was tender and very flavorful. My friend’s gnocchi was perfectly cooked, and the duck suggested by our server was the perfect addition. We chose the crème brûlée for dessert which we both loved! If you are looking for a restaurant with great food and excellent, knowledgeable staff, I cannot recommend Press 626 enough!

A must visit when you come to the 757. This restaurant is nestled in the historic Ghent district. Beautiful, and within walking distance to many great spots in Norfolk. I never miss an opportunity to come here and enjoy many of their delicious small plates and wonderfully curated wine list. If you’re looking for a date night spot, this is it!

Press 626 is hands down one of my favorite spots in Norfolk. The vibe is cozy but classy, the food is always on point, and the wine list never disappoints. But the real star? Maddie. She’s beyond amazing—friendly, knows her stuff, and makes every visit feel special. Ask for her if you can!

This was our first time visiting Press 626 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our expectation was that it was a cozy and casual place, and the vibe was just that. Nice but certainly not pretentious. Service was prompt and friendly, with both our server and host making sure we were always taken care of but in a personable way, not intrusive at all. My wife tried a couple different wines by the glass - there is an extensive and impressive wine menu - and I had an old fashioned cocktail which was very tasty. There are so many good things on the menu so we had a hard time choosing. There are apps, small plates, entrees, sandwiches, and salads so there is something for everyone at manageable prices. We shared a plate of pork dumplings which were soft and smothered in a delicious spicy asian sauce, and I had salmon over red chili curry noodles and the wife had a mediterranean-inspired chopped salad topped with duck confit. Both were excellent and we finished every bite. The chai spiced cholate pot de creme was shared and was rich but not overly sweet - a perfect ending to the meal.
