Join us in the dining room for a French inspired three course tasting menu experience for a base price of $71. Reservations required and as we are a very small restaurant we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

The owner of Près Des Prés, Andrew Pearson, dreamed of opening a restaurant in Gordonsville because of his love for the town and its people. This is a family operated establishment so you will find Andrew’s wife Lauren and daughters serving guests some evenings. Our restaurant filled a hole in the town for a more high end and French dining experience.

Chef Abigail Duck runs our one (wo)man kitchen. She aims our menu to feature seasonal, interesting, French inspired dishes.

Prés is located in the heart of Virginia wine country, located very near Charlottesville, UVA, Orange, Keswick , and Woodberry Forest.

This was our second visit to Pres Des Pres and the first for our guests. The personalized service provided by Andrew is superb. Our guests were quite impressed. We all did the wine pairing with the meal and it was excellent. Chef Abigail's food is always excellent and the presentation is beautiful. We were very appreciative that she posed for pictures with us at the end of the meal. We'll be back again when we are in town.

A great restaurant for when you want to slow down and enjoy a delicious meal, beautifully presented, with those you want to invest time with. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

Extremely happy with our experience! Meal and drinks were fantastic, had a great conversation with the owner (and patrons at the next table), and the staff was excellent. We will very definitely be back! If you are in the Gordonsville/Charlottesville area, we HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of this gem.

Service tonight was a real let down. I was left sitting at my table with my partner for an entire hour without bread or even my drink order being taken. I understand that things get busy, but this level of neglect felt like inexperience. Our waitress took our food order, then didn’t put it in and tried to play it off as wanting to “confirm” later on. I was shocked. Food was amazing as usual though.

Had a great dinner! Service was excellent. All courses were delicious and it was a unique meal. Would recommend! Also great mix of cocktail and mocktail options.

Seasonal 3 course prix fixe menu with 2 choices for each course. We got both choices and shared. Every dish was excellent. Layers of flavor. Some surprise seasonings that worked well. A range of different tastes. Excellent wine menu. Personal service.

We love trying different restaurants and this more than met our expectations from the moment we walk in until we departed. Andrew waited on us and we felt like family. Terrific place. The food was outstanding..
