The reason for the poor rating is quite simple. Despite taking our reservation online, and confirming it online, we arrived to find that the restaurant was not open that night!!!! WHY we were not informed is inexcusable and unacceptable. This is especially true since we were left in a total lurch as very little food is available in that area. Open Table is better than this...

This is a buffet. The food selection was limited and the food itself was cold. The chicken although sauced was dry. They ran out of desserts. We had to wait for someone to bring a very small tray of Cheesecake and Italian Cream Cake from the hotel across the street. Hardly a complete selection of their original offering, but at least it was something. Unfortunately, they were still frozen. We were never asked about wine or coffee. Surprisingly, the best part of the meal was the frozen Italian Cream Cake I had for dessert. My cousin could not eat the frozen cheesecake for fear of breaking a tooth. We chose Prelude for its convenience. We will not make that mistake again!

Went for dinner before Plano Symphony performance. Though we were there on time for our reservation, we felt hurried by the wait staff. Food is so-so and too pricey. Disappointed. Likely will not return.

This is a great pre/performance option for dining. Food selections were very good and at the right temperature. And of course, the convenience of dining and entertainment at the same venue can’t be beat.
