We open the gates at 5:00pm on our show nights, so you’ll want to arrive early and enjoy the beautiful ranch grounds.

There’s horse drawn wagon rides, shopping in the mercantile, old cowboy movies in the theater, or just relaxing in the fresh outdoors.

When the dinner bell rings at 6:15 gather at the Opera House to settle in for an all-you-can-eat, BBQ dinner. After dinner, kick back and enjoy a western stage show featuring cowboy music and humor by our own Prairie Rose Rangers. Shows are $35 for adults, $10 for children 3-12 plus tax. Special guests prices may vary.

One of the BEST places to go. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful and the Entertainment is perfect! I hope to make more visits in the future!! If you haven't been I would highly recommend it! Go early and see all the neat things they have and don't forget to take a wagon ride!

This place was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend it to all ages. They made you feel right at home from the welcome, during the entire show and all the way to the end with a personal thank you to every person who walked through the door. We were able to walk the museum,take beautiful picture,learn the history of the west,eat a great meal and enjoy the music and history of Patsy Cline. It was a spectacular evening. Thank you so much. We can't say enough good things about Prairie Rose. The food, show and ambiance is outstanding. Nowhere can you get a meal like that and the quality of the show (talent is the best) in this area. We feel very fortunate to have this type of entertainment available to us . It is a short drive for us (20 minutes). Hoping someone keeps this going. Thank you!

We had a very enjoyable evening. We arrived early and appreciated the cowboy movie available in the nearby building. Popcorn was good too. Of course the Diamond W Wranglers were great. We've followed them since back when we rode out to the pasture in a wagon 20 yrs ago. Great music then, great music now. The food was quite tasty and served quickly. Thank you for this performance.

We always feel welcome at the Prairie Rose. J.W. is an excellent hostess. We think Orin Friesen is super talented and as nice as he is tall! The Christmas concert was excellent and went by too fast. Someone near us mentioned it would have been nice to hear a couple of cowboy songs. The food delicious and we had to refrain from second helpings. Great staff!

I just love the atmosphere out at the Prairie Rose. The food is very good and service is awesome, very accommodating. I try to make it out annually especially if the Diamond W Wranglers are playing, worth the extra cost. The Rangers aren't shabby though.

This was our first time at the Prairie Rose and we absolutely loved it! Even our 20 year old twins enjoyed it! The employees were super friendly and the food and entertainment was wonderful! It was just a great evening of family fun. We are saddened to hear that it will end at the close of the year.

We took some friends who had never been here before to the special show, "A night of Remembering. " It was fantastic! The wagon ride was fun. The hot chocolate by the fire was fun. The popcorn in the movie theater museum was fun! The show was extraordinary! And the food was delicious! We have been to the Rose several times and every time we have a great time! It's like a little slice of Branson in Benton!

Lot's of wholesome fun. Went on a wagon ride and watched part of an old cowboy movie (popcorn) before the dinner & show. Food was good and plenty of it. Entertainment was great.

My boyfriend and I went to Prairie Rose on the 7th of September. He is from Washington DC and I am from Garden City, Ks. We met online 3 years ago and meet in Wichita every 3-4 months. This was my 2nd time here and his 1st. He is a huge Old West Cowboy movie buff and enjoyed every minute of it! We will definitely be back! Thank you for all your warm hospitality!!

We went for dinner and music, not a show of stupid jokes. waitress was mean to kids when the questioned about peach cobbler. She argued with kids then mother of kids saying peach cobbler was just for adults. Looks like she’d eaten it herself! I know my comments are rude, but you asked.

My father in law has talked about going to Prairie Rose for awhile so we surprised him for Father's Day and he really enjoyed it. It was fun for the whole family even our 15 year old daughter liked it. We have heard almost daily from my father in law about how much he liked going to Prairie Rose Chuckwagon on Friday Night.

I was first introduced to you folks back in late September of last year at my 50-year high school reunion with Andover High School. I decided to take my wife there earlier this month, in honor of our 23rd wedding anniversary. Neither of us were disappointed. She wouldn't have missed it for anything. The way you treat your guests is absolutely astounding! I was able to share with her the experience of Diamond W Wranglers, along with the way you folks do food service, and the way you do your own brand of family-friendly entertainment. I especially appreciated the way you opened the evening with the Pledge of Allegiance and the prayer in Jesus' name. As Christians, it meant a great deal to us. Since coming back home to Arkansas, I've mentioned you to lots of people here, stressing that it would be a great place to visit if they're ever in the Wichita area.

The Prairie Rose Chuck Wagon did not disappoint! My wife and I tried to remember how many times we've been there over the 21 years we've lived in the area, but couldn't come up with a definite answer. But, the bottom line is we've enjoyed every trip out! The staff is always pleasant and provide top drawer customer contact. The meals have always been delicious and the entertainment, well, Cowboy western music and cowboy humor can't be beat! Thank you for the great time! Oh, also, it was wonderful to have Orin back with the group!

Music was great. Was expecting a more authentic chuck wagon meal...for example serve on metal plates. Sliced beef rather than sausage and brisket. Would pay more $$ for this. Very attentive and nice staff. Would recommend and go again.

I truly enjoyed hearing the Oklahoma Balleteer, Les Gillium perform, His easy going yet authoritative manner on cowboy music and the history he shared about the songs, was wonderful. The people who wrote and sang them was amazing and I got to say that I learned a few things, remembered a few things, and left that evening feeling glad to have had this experience. Thank you!

We sure enjoyed the evening with Les Gilliam! The food was good even though we visited in December and had the same meal. The brisket and the beans were very good!! The service was very good as well!! Love that place and atmosphere!!
