My husband took me to POSH for our Anniversary and it was a perfect night out. Our server, Rose, was extremely attentive to our needs and we never had to ask for another drink, because she had us covered. The cocktail list is a good size and their nightly feature, some kind of a Moscow Mule, was delicious.
I got the Lobster special, which was quite big for just $19.99, and delicious, while my husband got one of their nightly features, Meatloaf, which he raved about. Dinner was delicious and we split a dessert, a chocolate/peanut butter cake, that was rich, creamy, and delectable. All in all, a 5 star review for sure
Looking forward to our next visit!
Great service, excellent food, popular spot on a Saturday night. Would absolutely go back!
We tried POSH on a busy Thursday night where it seemed everyone around us was trying their Lobster special. So we decided to give that a try, and it was melt in your mouth delicious, I’m so glad I tried it, and I’m usually not a seafood person.
My wife decided to give the Chicken Parm Gnocchi a try. She said the chicken was so tender and delicious and the sauce was creamy and delicious, and very unique as well. She only finished about 1/2 of her dinner, the portion was very generous. We also tried the chocolate peanut butter cake for dessert and that was one of the most delicious cakes we ever tried.
Service was very good despite the busy nature of restaurant, and we did not wait long at all for food either.
Classy atmosphere and decor. The staff was very welcoming, food was great, and the pace of the meal was nice. We didn't feel rushed at all. The only thing we found to be mediocre were the cauliflower bites, they were ok, but nothing special. Everything else was very tasty! John the bartender whipped up a fantastic Pumpkin Pie Martini that made my night! We will certainty be back!
We were celebrating a birthday and our guest of honor (my brother) requested to go to POSH, and we were sure glad he did. We got a little bit of everything from apps to entrees and each was delicious. We had a few children with us and were very nervous about their behavior and it being a fine dining establishment but the staff, especially Cindy, went above and beyond to make them feel special and welcome. I look forward to coming back for future family gatherings/date nights. Some members of our party went to the Oak Bar prior and they all had excellent things to say about their drinks and the atmosphere of the Oak Bar as well.
Just average. Food came out luke warm. Complimentary pretzels were on the stale side. Just ok.
We have students at local universities. We regularly choose Posh for dinners when we are in town. We are never disappointed. However, on Saturday 9/22, we were. The pretzels delivered as a complimentary treat were few and not very good. Two of our meals arrived before the remaining two. We waited a long time for last 2 meals to come. The crab cakes were large "meatball shape" and very undercooked. It was questionable as to whether they should have been eaten. Three meals were served with mashed potatoes which were plentiful but ordinary. All meals were served with broccoli and asparagus in large pieces, steamed with no seasoning, butter, etc. One meal was chosen to come with Posh fries which could have easily been served at a regular bar food place. For the price of the meals here, we were so very disappointed. We will wait quite a while before choosing Posh again. We're very disappointed as the location, atmosphere and generally the menu, is very very good.
Food was ok, but won’t go back again. Was in the area visiting my daughter in Scranton. Would try some place else next time.
This is one of my favorite go to restaurants in Scranton!! The food is always amazing
Decided to check out POSH b/c we heard an ad on the radio for its Lobster Night. First time we ever have visited and I must say that everything was delicious, the Lobster is unbelievable, well worth the trip alone. My spouse tried one of their signature cocktails, a Poshtini, and it was to die for. We already reservations in for next week, looking forward to trying POSH again. The staff is friendly and courteous, we noticed the Manager and Owner(I believe) checking in on guests, greeting patrons, and they made us feel very welcome and almost grateful that we chose their establishment for dinner, very refreshing! It’s also so very elegant inside that you feel like you’re experiencing a bit of local history. What a great place to have in downtown Scranton!
Eric was a great waiter, made my girlfriends 30th birthday extra special which made her really happy and overall had a great experience. He always came over and filled out glasses for wine which was an extra perk! Food was excellent as well, we got filet mignon and it was soooo incredibly tasty.
Everything we ordered from appetizer to dessert was outstanding. Portions are not huge, but you won't go home hungry either. Very quiet atmosphere.
The space is very nice. The service was great and the ambiance was comfortable. The food was mediocre and a bit overpriced, the desserts were good, and the drinks were on point!
I have been to Posh a few times and every time I’m there, the food is great and the service is fantastic.
Everything was delicious, our server was very courteous, the only downside was we were so full from dinner that we had to pass on dessert!
Chicken Francais was made by an amateur. Worst meal ever.
Place was very cozy. Very relaxing. Didn't have to strain to hear my husband.
Excellent dining experience, will be returning soon!
We went for Sunday brunch. I had the breakfast burger. It was the best hamburger I ever had! My son had steak and eggs, this portion is huge! Everything was delicious!
Great experience. Food outstanding and abundant portions. Very reasonable prices considering.
Try the lobster mac and cheese appetizer. Crab cake junky I was with says they were equal to the best she’s had.
This is the second time we have been to Posh for a special occasion dinner and both times the food was amazing. We both loved our meals, service was excellent, and mixed cocktails were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
A+++ dining experience from unique ambiance to service and down to the food, will be back!
My family had a great time enjoying cocktails and then dinner, everything was delicious! We were greeted by one of the owners and checked on by the manager throughout our meal, very nice, in addition to the outstanding service provided by our server!
Everything was great! Great service, delicious food. We will be back.
Delicious family dinner! Glad we chose to try POSH for our family gathering! Our server, Rose, was excellent and took care of us very well! We’ll be back!
Brenda, our server this evening, was wonderful. Our entrees were delicious, and there were some great new desserts on the menu tonight as well; especially the Oreo cheesecakey type pie which was delicious!
We went to Posh tonight and the food was excellent. Service was also excellent. However I wish someone would teach these guys how to make a drink. We’ve been going there since they opened and you cannot get a decent mixed drink of any kind there. Please pass this on to Posh...
Service was good...but the food is lacking. We ordered shrimp cocktail and it was served room temperature on a bed of lettuce. We asked for fresh lemon and they told us they were out of lemons (this on an early Friday night). Our meat and cheese board was missing accompaniments that a nearby table had on their board. Filet was definitely gamey tasting and was served medium well when I asked for it medium rare. They did fix the steak immediately. There are so many innovative and delicious restaurants in the Scranton area...unfortunately, Posh is lacking what it needs to keep up with their competition (in this diner’s opinion).
Dinner and service were impeccable! My wife tried the special (Chicken Marsala) for something different, and it was delicious! The manager was attentive to our needs and very courteous, it was a most enjoyable evening.
When there are two or more guests , I think the bills should be separate unless otherwise stated by the customer.
Outstanding Food and service. Brenda and the manager Cindy did a great job to exceed our expectations.
Dinner was terrific, the manager went above and beyond to accommodate our group and our server was knowledgeable and very personable! Looking forward to returning!
Can’t say a single bad thing about the place. Friendly staff, fast service, amazing food. Will definitely go back.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu, presentation, and employees are fabulous ! We are never disappointed there. It works great for brunch or. Special occasion
A night out to celebrate our anniversary and Posh exceeded our expectations. The wait staff was superb and the food was phenomenal!
Great Father’s Day brunch!
Let me start by saying: I eat. A lot. And I love it when I or my wife don't have to cook. So when my wife decided to plan an overnight trip to my dear northeast PA, I looked forward to the eating. That's what a culinary podcast host does, I suppose. (Coarse Grind Podcast, for those interested 😉)
The ambience of the place? Stellar. Menu selection? Varied. Drink selection? Stunning (Highly recommend the Brotherly Love).
But let's talk the big two - Food and Service. THIS is where Posh shined tonight.
Casey. Our meal started with a friendly name and face who cared for us through the evening, recommending and guiding. The charcuterie board and carrot soup was spectacular as starters (slight issue with cheeses listed was quickly attended to by Casey).
Next, dinner - And an example of customer service like few others I've witnessed. My wife went with the flatbread - Great. I got the ribs (Brazilian/dry rub style). Within a couple bites, it was clear that said ribs were dry. It happens, it's food, and they can continue to cook once removed. Unlike my typical self, I informed Casey of the situation - Reminding him I was more trying to just inform than complain.
Cue the example...
Within SECONDS, the owner and manager came over to address the situation. In less than 5 minutes, I had a replacement dinner of their Gnocchi with duck confit ragout. Complete with unnecessary copious apologies.
THE GNOCCHI. OH DEAR GOD. Calling this a smart plate of food would be a marked understatement. Fry the gnocchi, add duck? Italian grandmothers EVERYWHERE just died a little.
Topped off with a complimentary dessert which will likely have me in the cardiologists office within a week or two...Posh is an example of a good restaurant with solid variety/inspiration...
...but, most of all? A staff who will take care of your every need. Can't wait to see you folks again. 5/5

We had a drink in the bar which was lovely, then we sat at a two person table and had no difficulty with the noise level. Our waiter was helpful and friendly and our food arrived quickly. I had the tuna, my husband had skirt steak and both were excellent. We enjoyed the evening very much.
The food was very good and the service excellent but they were out of our main two dishes we went there for.
Great as always! Manager (Cindy) is so personable and accommodating! Service and food were terrific!
