Posh at The Scranton Club Ratings and Reviews
I held my 25th birthday brunch at posh. I was amazed by the high quality of service and attention to detail. Eric and Miranda were great severs. All of my guest couldn’t stop raving about the delectable food. The attention to detail was incredible. I’ve been a loyal patron for years because it feels like family. Posh always exceeds expectations they truly aim to please. I recommend Posh for any occasion no matter how big or small.
Wonderful experience at Posh on this first time visit. We felt very welcomed by the owner who came over to introduce himself as well as the manager and the service staff. Food choices were fantastic and the portions large; definitely worth taking home for an extra lunch or another dinner. Ambience is upscale but not pretentious. Do not hesitate to book for first time or another visit. I know we will be back.
Fabulous dinner, lobster topped with crab was soooo good, as was the crab cakes which are always fantastic. My granddaughter had the lobster Mac and cheese that she truly enjoyed. Staff is courteous and helpful. Cannot go wrong coming here at any time. Only issue is parking.
We went to Posh for my father's birthday dinner at his request. I initially thought it would be out of my normal budget, but I was pleasantly surprised at the affordability. Everyone loved their meals and deserts. The deserts are amazing, however they are large portions and a bit pricey. We highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable dining experience, especially the chicken Caesar salad and grilled chicken sandwich.
We like to eat seafood. We had our hearts set on the tuna dish and the crab cakes. So we show up for a 7:45 PM reservation. Guess what? Our server says they are "all out." I find this unacceptable. Otherwise we enjoyed our dinner. The place resembles an old supper club in a historic building.
Posh is absolutely gorgeous, with an unreal atmosphere. The staff is all VERY good looking, and attentive to any need you might possibly have. The portions are very generous, even for dishes listed as a small plates. My boyfriend and I had ordered 5 different plates of food, and were full just after eating half of our first plates, and the complimentary pretzel bites. Our occasion for going was my boyfriend's birthday, and several different staff members came around and personally wished him a happy birthday. He felt so appreciated by people he hardly knew, and he left with a new sense of value. The customized paper towels in the restroom were absolutely adorable, and the bottle of Moscato we took home was some of the best wine we've both ever had. Posh is absolutely worth the price, and drive. We'll be coming back very soon.
My husband got the steak and eggs and was pleased. The pastries were excellent the fruit he enjoyed. I personally do not care for any melon. I ordered the Crabcake eggs Benedict I got runny yolk which was ok but the egg white was so runny I couldn’t eat them so I took them of my plate found egg shell the brought me better eggs but to late could not enjoy
I enjoy Posh because it offers local food in an historic building, a treat for the eyes and tongue. The portions allow for a second meal, at least for my mom and me. I appreciate that Posh supports the Lackawanna Historical Society by offering credits for the walking tours.
