Always a great dining experience. Food is Fantastic, BJ the bartender is awesome, and the owners are always on site and very approachable. Food is fresh and well prepared, service is top notch, and atmosphere is always quiet and relaxed. My husband said it was the best restaurant meal he had in the last 10 years. We visit Myrtle Beach often and always schedule a night for Portofino. You do not want to miss this local gem.

We dine at Portofino often and are never disappointed. We enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere. Everyone who works there does an excellent job. Every dish we have tried has been outstanding. The executive chef, Giovanni, will sometimes come out and engage in conversation. Have not experienced this anywhere else. Making reservations is quick and easy. Love Portofino!

This is the third year in a row we have visited Portofino on vacation, and it never disappoints. Rigatoni bolognese, chicken parm, and veal parm were all winners. Potato leek soup was an added bonus. Great service, fair price. If you want Italian at the beach, this the best option!

We were visiting and we were trying to find an authentic and delicious Italian restaurant. We saw the reviews for Portofino so we decided to give it a whirl. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the our server David was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

We found a rare gem in this truly authentic Italian restaurant. The owner and chef takes time to come out and check on his diners to ensure the food is to his high standards. Fresh, handmade gnocchi and pasta were delicious and sauces were just right-not too heavy or too light. Tiramisu was fantastic!

Food is scrumptious! We tried the special gnocchi dish and the steak and lobster tail and Chicken Portofino and their delicious Super Tuscan wine. Oh and their mussels appetizer. And the tartufo dessert!!!
