   Portobello apparently decided to stop using OpenTable and did not bother to tell anyone so despite having made reservations months in advance, they wouldn’t even seat us and turned us away. I would not trust making a reservation with them ever again

   Portobello has become our favorite restaurant. The menu selection is great and the food always AMAZING! The entire staff is top notch. An absolute must if dining in West Hartford.

   When we arrived there was a note on the door that there was a family emergency and that they would reopen on 8/17.:(

   upon arrival we could not be seated even though we had a reservation. We were delayed by an hour and ate outside but wanted to be inside. We received only an apology.

   Sweet neighborhood restaurant. Sauce was delicious. Servers were attentive. Our new go to place outside of WH Center. Free street parking. Recommend making reservations.

   Great carefully prepared italian food done with a flair obviously entailing the freshest ingredients. We ate in the patio under the tent and it was a neat spot!

   We had a great dinner at Portobello. The food was beautifully prepared and the service was very attentive. It’s also a great value. Definitely worth a visit.

   The food was terrible. They put buckets of sauce in every dish, which is not good. The service is good, and the guys are putting in their best effort, but the food does not help. Prices are reasonable, but you can get better "Italian" food at a food court. That's how bad it was.

    Third time there. Normally pretty good. Owner was sitting at a table outside smoking and then coming in and serving food. My food was not cooked all the way. Very disappointed. Our last time.
