Usually a favorite of mine in the Fargo area, however, they overcooked the steak to medium when I asked for Medium Rare. Everything else was good!

First Time in Fargo. The food at Porter Creek was outstanding. Huge kudos to kitchen staff!I had the capellini with tomato and rotisserie chicken
Our server Rosie was the best - spot on with recommendations such as tomato basil soup, three tomato bruschetta and creme caramel cheesecake.

We loved this wood fired grill. Our server David was attentive and gave recommendations. We had the salmon and scallops, both were excellent. The wine list was moderately priced with a nice selection. We ate indoor, but the outdoor bar area was very welcoming with a little creek flowing in the back. Next time, we will request to be seated out there if weather permits.

Wonderful host and wait staff, very attentive. Food ordered by our party (hangar steak, salads, walleye fingers, wine) was good, but definitely not exceptional. Nice, ambient atmosphere for indoor dining, but background music was not as subtle as it could have been. Sometimes silence in between rock music is very much appreciated.

We got there before our reservation (15 minutes early) time so they told us we would have to wait for them to set up our table. So she checked me in and we waited. Then another person at the front desk asked if we had been waited on and I repeated the fact that we had a reservation for 6 and one was a toddler and we would need a high chair. So he told us we were checked in and said we would have to wait to be seated closer to our reservation time. Which was about 12 minutes. Then we waited for a total of 20 minutes and I asked why we hadn’t been seated yet and so they decided they could seat us. ( I guess they were waiting for wait staff to show up) they had our reservation mixed up with someone else in a party of 9. We needed a table for six one chair being a high chair. Still didn’t have that at our table. Then the girl told me they didn’t have a reservation for me. After two people already checked me in!! I was about ready to lose it. Clearly these kids had no clue what they were doing. I would say poor management. Probably will avoid going there in the future. Our food was good but service just wasn’t the best.

The fettuccine Alfredo was very watery. The scallops were lukewarm, as was the accompanying cauliflower hash, which was poorly prepared. That being said, our waitress was attentive to the issue & the manager on duty adjusted our bill and offered apologies. I’ve enjoyed my lunches at PC, but this dinner meal was definitely lacking.

It took awhile for our server to take our order first and then to run our payment on our bills. He kept up with the drinks very well though!

The chicken quinoa salad was very fresh but I was confused by the flavors represented in the dish itself. The vinaigrette took out the freshness of the ingredients and was very overpowering.

Otherwise our server was very kind and the ambiance was perfect!

Your hostesses were also wonderful as well!!!

The food was absolutely wonderful. We had the the New York Strip and the Pork Chop, both were prepared perfectly. We enjoyed the patio, which never disappoints. Our only note would be that drinks from the bar took a while for us to get, but it was busy. Always a wonderful meal here.

I had the walleye and it was phenomenal! The potatoes and steamed veggies were s perfect accompaniment. The sauce on the walleye was also perfect and had just the right amount of flavor to make it a wonderful addition to the flavor. My husband had the broasted chicken which he devoured. The portions were very generous. In fact, I was able to bring half of mine home to have another meal.

This is a place that cares about the customer’s experience! Greeted with warmth and smiles, found our reservation with no fuss and made us feel welcomed. Given choices for seating and when we chose the option that was least available they didn’t hesitate to assure us they could accommodate us no problem. Menu was diverse, creative and fairly priced. When asked if they could accommodate speak dietary needs they offered options clearly and professionally. Food arrived quickly and portion sizes were VERY generous (good thing as we were hungry!). Drinks were replenished as needed and not more (I hate to waste food or beverage so I appreciated their “Goldilocks” touch here. Several people checked in with us throughout our meal, inquiring if everything was ok. I liked their team approach. You can see them hard at work in the kitchen through the glass wall and we noticed so much effort and focus on the cooking and plating. It was impressive. These folks obviously have a passion for food, their customers and one another.

Ryan was our server and took care of us in phenomenal style. Hand stuffed blue cheese olives for our martinis and very attentive. Food was out of sight. Great steaks cooked perfectly and walleye fingers and wings were some of the best apps I e ever had. Thanks!

The women in our family went out for dinner to enjoy each others company. While the food was very good the service from our waitress lacked attn. and friendliness. She did honor the special request for the kitchen. I think take out will be a better option next time.

Pork chop special - chop was obviously frozen and under cooked inside. Sent back to kitchen and came back the same way. Vegetables hard and undercooked. Taste of the entrées was average at best. Ask to talk to the manager was told he would come to see us but was too busy to show up and actually talk to us. Our waiter was actually very good and attentive.

My second visit to the restaurant in the past year. I thought quality of the food was lacking. As always, service was excellent and attentive. I paid 33.00 dollars for a fillet that was at best, of select grade, tough and lacking in flavor. I always looking for a great meal and did not find it this time. Probably wont go back!
