Por offers a host of different tables and dining areas. The service is young but attentive. The food is OK but expensive. The ambiance of inside is much better than outdoors.
Too bad I cannot remember her name but the person attending our table was very friendly and service she gave us was outstanding!
Entertaining menu that delivers palate-wise - excellent service in a charming outdoor space - more than a wine destination - full bar with interesting offers. Enjoy.
Hanging out with friends
nice spot to have a drink and snacks, light dinner
One of our favorite places!
Love going to Por for a few drinks and Tapas! The Brussel Sprouts and Bacon wrapped dates are amazing! Also the hummus and veggies are always fantastic!!
This is my favorite restaurant in Louisville. I always take friends there to show off how cool our town is!
We love pôr at Louisville. Great food, drinks and service. We had a fantastic time and we ordered the hummus and Brussels sprouts. For the kids the pizza was too spicy but they took care of us and brought pasta. One suggestion I have for pôr is for he hummus to have more veggies and pita bread instead of charging for a refill.
We loved our food (sliders are amazing!), and the sangrias were delicious too!
Food wasn't as good as previous visits and service was slower/ forgetful but figure the latter is more of a general restaurant industry staffing challenge right now.
Great food and drinks. Wish the hornet nest wasn't right next to us though.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was so awful I felt like I had to say something. This may be one of the worst restaurant meals of the decade. The food was overall tasteless and gross. Basically bizarre. Shrimp had gone bad. Burger meat didn’t even taste like beef. Falafel was just a pancake like thing that tasted like pure uncooked flour. Steak was extremely overcooked and had no seasoning or sauce. The fries were wilted pieces of sad unwanted potato. The table & bench gave us splinters because the wood was weathered and not coated. One positive note - The dolmas were good. Although most dolmas in restaurants come out of a can. The service was ok. They apologized and gave us a gift card that we will likely never use.
Overall a comedic experience for all 6 of us.
Steak frittes amazing.
Birthday get together, lots of great good, staff was amazing and very accommodating, highly recommended for everyone. My third visit this month and every time it hit the mark;)) looking forward to come back;)
Second time here in a week! Great service and food, this time outside — due to much better weather. Brussels sprouts are still fantastic and pizza was great - service was attentive and friendly. Tip - order appetizers and then wait to order main dish — food arrives quickly!
A 5-oz. glass of wine was $11, and it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Food was good but nothing but ordinary; menu included mostly things you can order anywhere. Service was inattentive; had to go to bar tender to ask for a menu. Server finally showed up and took the order, and food then arrived at a reasonable interval. Took forever to get the attention of the server to order another glass of wine for my husband. His wine appeared after we finished dinner and only after we told the server a considerable time after ordering that we were still waiting for it. I never saw the server when I was ready to order a second glass of wine for myself . Server seemed busy the whole time we were there and it appears they need more servers. (Maybe having trouble hiring others??) Anyway, they have a nice location and a good sized patio and lots of potential. But they need a chef with some creativity and more servers.
Great service! The bartender is awesome, reminded us when happy hour was about to end. Great food and drinks.
What a surprise for our first meal! We had an early reservation, were seated at a private side table, and the service and food could not have been better. Wine selection was also very good. Brussels sprouts were the best I have even had - nice and crispy. Mushroom pizza was excellent and service was attentive but not rushed. We will definitely go again.
Staff was disorganized, slow, and at times rude.
Delighted to see the expanded menu choices, particularly the Spanish tapas items. The Smokey Spanish Meatballs were terrific as was the broccoli with bacon. Always a fun place; never a disappointment! 💚
The outdoor patio is nice. They have put a lot of effort into providing shade for almost all of the patio seating. The red sauce they use appears in way too many dishes. (Meatball sliders, calamari sauce, spanish meatballs, pizzettas). It is heavy and not very good overall. It makes for a very one-note meal - and they sneak red pepper flakes into every serving of the red sauce. Service is ok. Slow (which is expected with dining right now), but otherwise friendly.
50% off bottles of wine is always great, especially on a Saturday night. Only complaint would be the wine wasn’t anywhere near the right temperature. Not a big deal, but definitely noticeable. Food os OK; It’s a good casual place to spend with friends for a few drinks. Service was great. One suggestion would be to add cushions for the concrete bench areas.
We decided to celebrate with our daughter and I chose Por because we hadn't been for a long time. Also, they changed locations to a much nicer spot. (Other restaurants in this location were also good but often had issues.) The most refreshing part of the meal was the fantastic service we received. Honestly, we have been venturing out more often (now that we are all vaccinated and the numbers in Boulder are good). However, the service at many places has not been great (but the food at most spaces have been very good). They told us that they would bring out the food as the dishes were ready and this was fine but they did bring out the rice and beans right away. There wasn't any other food out yet. We really liked some of the dishes and would definitely go back because it was fun. We ordered a lot of food - what we liked best were the dates, Brussels sprouts, and brie. The refried beans side was a surprise because it was good (even though it was a side).
Wine and food was amazing. We got the Brussels sprouts and smoked meatballs. We didn’t realize it was still happy hour when we got there but our wine was only $5 a glass. There was live music outside - a perfect hangout spot for after work! Possibly a little too loud depending on how close you are sitting to the live music.
Nice place to meet for craft cocktails & good food
Probably wouldn’t go back here. The hostess didn’t ask us if we wanted an indoor or outdoor table, and she led us to a small, crammed indoor table with a wobbly leg - I think we can all agree we hate that. Wine was fine, food was okay. Had the small charcuterie board and ahi tuna nachos. The waiter didn’t greet us for 10 minutes, and he maybe came to our table 3 times throughout our almost 2 hour visit, after having to wave him down. Might have had a better time with outdoor seating and a different waiter. The red sangria was tasty though.
Great happy hour!
The 4 of us had a wonderful time. Our waiter also bartended and he was amazingly good at choosing drinks for us based upon our answers to a few questions. He explained the ingredients in every food dish and attended to our table with professional care.
All the creative food selections were brilliantly and timely prepared. We plan to go back soon and often!
The cocktails were fantastic! Enjoyed the tacos too. Very attentive server. Outdoor dining was lovely. Will come back.
Disappointing. For a wine house they didn't have much of a wine menu. Food was okay but service was poor. Not intending to return.
Very quiet inside, but lively outside. Food was excelent.
It was a very enjoyable experience! We loved the live music! The food was good as usual and very friendly staff. One of our favorite places!
POR House made my husbands birthday special. The out door seating is great, the food delicious and the staff made him feel special. We had a party of 6 and all enjoyed. Thank you to POR team and especially Kent for such a memorable time. You are the BEST!
POR is a great place to meet friends and enjoy cocktails or wine flights. The food menu has expanded and offers lots of yummy choices and the cocktails & wine selection is great. Always enjoy the atmosphere and over vibe at this neighborhood gem.
This was our second time here, we had a great dinner on Easter so decided to celebrate Father’s Day here. It was a huge disappointment. 2 of our dinners came out while it took an hour later for the other 3 to come out. Our waitress kept saying the kitchen was slammed but there were not that many tables seated. All the tables around us were complaining also and there was no manager in site to help resolve issues. We drive almost an hour for our dinner and doubt we will be back. So disappointing
Food was delivered quickly and hot. Consistently good quality.
Amazing server! So friendly. Great drinks and tapas, fun to sit on patio :)
Food was excellent! We will bring friends back here for sure!
The food was fantastic but we were sat in a weird corner and it took the server more than ten minutes to get our drink order. The food came out before our drinks, which is fine because the food was quick but our reservations were for 7:30, we showed up at 7:25 and our drinks didn't get to the table until after 8:00pm. We went ahead and ordered a second round when they finally showed up and the second round was quicker than the first. The bartender didn't stop moving the entire time we were there, he was just overwhelmed and needed help. This was our first visit to Pôr.
