We chose Poogan's Porch for a Saturday night dinner. We arrived to the restaurant early and were able to be seated prior to our reservations, which was nice. The house is beautiful, but unfortunately the outside dining areas were closed. The inside dining was good, but it is warm in the dining rooms so be prepared for that. I had the pan roasted scallops, which were amazing. My husband had the fried chicken dinner, which was OK but he felt was underwhelming. The portions are small given the price and quality of food. Overall, decent food but neither of us felt it was worth the price.

Our favorite restaurant in Charleston. Only problem is deciding what to order. Definitely need to make reservations well in advance.

Awesome Brunch menu! Can't visit Charleston without enjoying Brunch here. Chicken and Waffles and Pulled Pork Benedict are a must try!

I was disappointed by the quality of our waiter (slow and not responsive) and the average nature of the food. The last time we we at this restaurant both the food and service were quite good. I am not sure what has happened.

We ended a wonderful girls weekend with Sunday brunch at Poogans Porch. The restaurant was hopping but the hosts were very organized and professional and we were seated within a few minutes of our reservation. Our server was nice and helpful. and the ambiance was pretty and comfortable. We all enjoyed our meals, cocktails and mocktails. She crab soup was delicious and paired well with a friend chicken salad.

Excellent food but very, very warm which made it uncomfortable to sit in there for long. Crank up the AC and I'd give it a 10 out of 10!
