    We had our 47th annual family beach week in Sea Pines and took all the adults out to dinner (leaving the youngest grand kids in the care of their teenage cousins). While my spouse and I have been dining at Pomadori's for years, this was our adult children's first visit. They wanted to try something different. Were they in for a treat. Everyone had something different but all raved about the menu and selection. Starting with a couple bottles of Trouchard chardonnay, hot soft bread and carcioffi fritti (panko crust artichokes) only served to wet their appetite. The veal picata, pappardelle and flounder francese were incredible! Now that the cat's out of the bag, I'm afraid this outing will be forever embedded in our family beach week tradition.

    We were disappointed upon arrival when our reserved table was not ready and we were pretty much told to get out of the way while we waited. Another 2 top came in after us and was seated immediately with no explanation. The configuration of the tables is such to get the most seating. Tables are cramped and hard not to hear every one else in the rooms conversation-especially those at the bar since we were seated directly behind them. The mussels were recommended and were not very good. Our dinners were good-more quantity than quality. We asked for coffee and dessert and the waiter expressed concern that our 45 minutes at the table was about up and questioned if he had time to serve them. I ordered the Tiramisu for dessert which is one of my favorites. It was not worth the calories. No taste and watery at the bottom of the “jar” it was served in. Poor presentation as well. Needless to say-we won’t be returning or recommending to anyone.

    Cute place w good service. Sat in a small enclosed outside area. Food was good w large portions. Meatball was delicious and chicken parm crispy. Tomato Sauce on pasta was just ok. Chicken piccata also very large portion a bit salty. Reasonably priced meal w decent wine list.

    We always eat outside in their covered screened porch. It’s delightful & quiet. Food is excellent and always high quality. The calamari appetizer is delicious; the lasagna & meatballs are both delicious. So is the bolognese. I love the chicken francese. And the brownie dessert with ice cream & caramel sauce is a must.
