Nice surprise to fine a decent restaurant in Vero Beach. Not a lot
to choose for fine dining in Vero Beach. A must if you don’t want to
drive south to Palm Beach County for
fine dining. This is your best choice
Excellent service from our waiter, Kennedy. The quality and presentation of the food was very good. Ambiance was mediocre. Get rid of the red lights.
Ahi tuna was great. Bronzed beef tips. Great! Wedge salad ~ VERY fresh. Stuffed shrimp and Salmon ceviche also great.
Great service and excellent food
Great filet mignon steak. Beautifully presented on himilyan rock salt slab Nice wine list. Restaurant has inside and outside covered seating.
Lovely for a special occasion. Quiet crowd. Wonderful dessert.
The food was okay asked for med rare came will done.
Great food, exquisite service. We enjoyed a quiet evening.
Our server, Gina, was excellent! Everything was quite good with 2 exceptions…..One order of crab legs was VERY salty. And the nuts in the crust of the key lime tart tasted old and almost rancid.
The service and environment and food were all superb. We really enjoyed our waiter both professionally and personally.
Good food, great service in very pleasant setting.
Except for the cigarette smoke, we were seated outside, it was an enjoyable experience.
We loved all the food. Menu was very diversified. We ate indoors and the atmosphere was great for meaning conversation. Somewhat concerned that the staff did not wear masks as we both are doctors ( vaccinated) know how contagious this new virus is. Hoping everyone stays well. We are planning to come again.
A little disappointed that though I noted that this was a birthday dinner when I made the reservation, nothing was ever mentioned to us while we were at Polo Grill, and we didn't bring it up. That being said, cocktails, wine, and food were very good and our service as very good as well.
Stuffed shrimp was just okay for $36. No salad, no bread, a small amount of spinach and 4 large shrimp with a slight teaspoon size crab stuffing. Nice place but nothing special for the price.
Everything was great , lamb chops were the best ever.
Had a wonderful time and great service. Food was incredible!
Erin was our server and was amazing the last time and this time as well. We requested her and she did not disappoint at all for our special occasion, my wife’s birthday dinner. This restaurant has become our favorite since recently moving to Vero Beach and Erin was a good part of the entire experience. We love the ambiance and style of the Polo Grill. The food is always amazing and the timing of the courses is just right. We will be back many times to come.
$36 for two martinis is ridiculous Never again
Croutons in Caesar soft
I will not pay $50 for a steak and dont care for sea food
Limited menu compared to the old Polo
Settled on Fish and chips. Having had fish and chips a number of time in London not even close. No one yet can duplicate
The veal with bluberrys tasty especially the gravey
Good wait staff but spread very thin. Had on of the old timers. Had to wait between courses Had to ask for the table to be cleared yet busser kept walking around.
not worth $126
Good food, great service. No real issues. Attentive and personal.
Excellent food and service. Great experience
I have been a coustmer at Polo Grill for many years, and it still holds it's ability to be one of the best in Vero. I look forward to my next visit.
We had a wonderful dinner out on the new patio! Our steaks were delicious as was my salad and the dessert bowl of mousse and berries was beyond exceptional!
The lobster bisque is always exceptional as are the lamb chops. Our table also had the stuffed shrimp, which looked delicious, the salmon and the NY strip steak. Key lime tart and creme brule for dessert Both very good. Lovely restaurant, attentive staff. Handy location with street parking and an accessible entrance.
Food was outstanding, service was amazing highly recommended
Excellent service. Excellent menu items, from start to finish! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed our meal at Polo Grill. Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and personable. Ordered from the twilight menu. Good value for the money. My husband was a bit disappointed with the linguine with red clam sauce. He thought it a bit watery, but tasty.
The veal piccata was very good.
Italian Early bird special was excellent from start to finish. Wait staff friendly and attentive. A very pleasant evening.
Overall good food and ambiance! Wish the menu had more options. Not a fan of the crackers instead of a bread!
Service was ok
Ambiance was old school steak house
Meal was not worth the price and wine was overpriced
Lovely evening with a nice sea breeze. Even though it was 88° we felt very comfortable outside. They also have plenty of fans to move the air.
Our server was wonderfully attentive and didn’t interrupt too much, which is a real art.
Food was nicely presented and almost prepared to perfection…. Almost.
For that price point , it was not quite up to the level of expectancy.
It was a good time, with good friends so we were happy. We will go back.
The food was great but a bit pricey.
As it is summer, we chose outdoor dining. We did have a booking and were seated promptly and greeted by server, Erin. Most guests were dining indoors and we feared we might be overlooked but not the case. Erin was attentive, pleasant and efficient. Instead of typical bread, a serving of pimento cheese and crackers was really good. Our appetizers were well finished before our mains arrived. We like a bit of a pause between starters and mains and the timing was spot on. Prices are a bit high but quality equals. I think it helps restaurants here in Vero for diners to make a booking since it is the slower season and the restaurant can staff accordingly. Our chocolate balloon dessert didn’t disappoint.
Server was a little snarky pointing out that we were ordering off the early bird menu and thus could not ask for any changes. She was also slow on showing up to take our drink order, and we were only the third table of diners.
The food was excellent as was the ambience.
My fish was burned, the fries were cold, a knife was visibly dirty, the table was very dirty, and the service was so-so. The other three diners with me had excellent dinners and enjoyed the food.
Went for earlybird Italian experience and thoroughly enjoyed. Food and wine were excellent. Our server Debbie did a great job. We will certainly be back.
Everything was delicious! I had fish and chips (yummy) and my husband had a mixed grill. He loved every bite! We shared the calamari fries for appetizer. So good! Our waitress was was very sweet and available. We choose to eat outside. A little warm, but the area was big, and it wasn't too noisy.
I have been coming to Vero Beach for about 7 years now, for a few weeks each year. For some unknown reason, I hadn't tried the Polo Grille until this year. I won't make that mistake anymore. This was my third time here this year and it will be a restaurant I now go to every time I'm in town. The food is excellent, my wife and I shared an Ahi Tuna appetizer, and both had the filet mignon. Both were delicious. The service was fantastic, the waiter extremely personable and very knowledgeable about the menu.
Erin, our server was on top of all the questions we had, being our first time there. She had great recommendations on the food and a very personable way about herself. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was inviting. We will being going back and asking for Erin again.
This is our favorite Indian River County restaurant. The menu is eclectic without being bizarre. The early bird selections are excellent but take a hard look at the Osso Buco on the regular menu. That is exceptional! I'd never seen Calamari Fries before and based on Jacob's recommendation I tried them....outstanding! We try to get here once a month and are never disappointed, except for the fact that the new owners don't offer the French pressed coffee they used to have. That was the best coffee I'd ever had and was the exclamation point to an exceptional meal. C'mon guys, put that coffee back on the menu. Leave everything else alone, though.
