We had great service by Chantal
It was a nice dinner and the weather cooperated. My husband had the trout which was excellent. I had a Caesar salad. I added a few grilled chicken strips and was charged $26.00. Who pays that for a salad. I didn’t want to ruin the good vibe so I opted to stay quiet. I won’t go back simply for that reason. Ridiculous for a salad.
We ate outside at this restaurant and it was nice but the inside is definitely much nicer. Our food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Would go back.
We were first-time diners at the Polo Grill in Vero Beach on Thanksgiving day. We were very pleased and had a beautiful dinner. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was courteous and efficient. They offer a large patio for outdoor diners and safe indoor seating. All nicely decorated for the holidays. We strongly recommend the Polo Grill.
Delightful and delicious Thanksgiving seated outdoors and socially distanced. Food outstanding and clearly all hand-made, including the desserts. New owner Bill and his staff are top shelf and have a winner on their hands!
Lovely meal great wine
Great atmosphere, food, and value! Friendly and attentive staff and the food was fantastic. We will be back on our next trip to Vero Beach.
A very pleasant surprise will definitely recommend and I will be back
New owner, new chef and better than its ever been. Worth a visit for sure
Dinner was yummy and Greg made our evening SPARKLE!
A big thank you for an enjoyable evening.
Having had 2 previous pleasant dining experiences at The Polo Club, we highly anticipated a third...Unfortunately, the evening was a complete bust. We just couldn't establish rapport with our server, even though we tried small talk to break the ice. And we had to wait over 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive; when we mentioned this to one of the leaders, we got an excuse instead of an apology. Further, as accomplished cooks, we were very disappointed in the preparation of the entrees. Perhaps this was an "off" night, so we will try again. The Polo Club management has a great opportunity to be a premier restaurant in Vero-great location, clubby atmosphere inside, large dining area outside; but, in order to be at the same level as their competitors to the west and to the east, they will have to step up their service levels and food quality and preparation.
Very nice al fresco dining, perfect for the Covid era. Terrific staff, and very good food. Highly recommend.
First time dining there. Sat outside, weather was great. Very relaxing. Our server Chantelle was excellent, knowledgeable, made good recommendations. Our dinners were delicious, well prepared. We liked it so much we are dining there Thanksgiving with our friends.
Food quality and preparation did not measure up to the prices charged. Filet was served on a hot salt block that overwhelmed the taste and continued to cook the steak to a well done temperature. Wine list very marginal.
The server must have been on his first day. We had to ask for menus, he didn’t bring our wine until we had our dinners and he didn’t know how to open it or pour. The steak and potato side had no flavor at all and there was no salt on the table. I didn’t ask for it because he would have brought it with dessert. It was OK, but we probably won’t return.
We went early to avoid any crowds due to covid and ate inside as it was windy. Food is pricey, but delicious and service was wonderful. We will be back to sit outside on deck on a nicer day.
We enjoyed the restaurant and food . Service was great. The website is not current and we wanted what was on the website but it was not available.
Food was good. Service was good but slow.
Food and service were both great. Our waiter Ty was very efficient and pleasant to talk to. Food was very well done from the oysters to the special Halibut dish.
Had a great dinner with friends on the patio. Really good service and food. The Yellow Snapper and the swordfish were excellent.
Delicious food, great service. We sat outside on a beautiful night. It was a perfect date night choice. I had the filet and my husband had the scallops. Both were wonderful. Our server and the host were attentive.
We had a lovely dining experience at Polo Grill outside in their spacious covered patio. Service was perfect, food was delicious and the environment was extremely comfortable.
This was our second visit to Polo Grill, and it was superb! Our waiter Urs, was a class act. Amazing service and the food was equally outstanding. We will definitely be back for third.
While we enjoyed our evening overall, several of the items we planned to order we saw on the menu online were not offered. Our process in rating our dinners is totally based on a question, "would we come back to order it again?" We both thought our dinners were fair, but did not leave us wanting to come back to order again. The service was good and the outdoor dining was very nice, cool, and relatively quiet. I'm sure we will return and order something different. The prices were what we expected for a restaurant in this location, but we felt if you are going to charge those prices, the food should be outstanding. The drinks were good, but a little short for the price.
Very talkative server, too much, interrupted dinner.
Was here on a vacation and liked the idea that this restaurant while on A1A was bit south enough to be a bit quieter. Service was excellent our waiter was not knowledgeable but he actually appeared to care and enjoy his job. food was very good and presentation was very nice. We ate outside and it wasn’t crowded so it wasn’t noises but great for social distancing. I would return!
Elegant casual dressing required....plenty of customers with disgusting flip flop!! Nothing more disgusting than flip flop in an "elegant restaurant"
The worst osso buco I ever tried in my life, the lobster bisque very standard....wine list very short, the bar tender doesn't even know CAMPARI exists!!
The waiter was phenomenal (is coming from the previous owner that sold the Restaurant 6 months ago), was the only upscale experience. Bravo!!
It is a shame because the Terrace is unique and the inside atmosphere is elegant....
Very unexpected surprise! From start to finish, our meal was amazing! Urs, our server, took excellent care of us throughout. Our friends both had the filets and we both had the lamb chops. Presentation for everything was beautiful. Everything was cooked to perfection! Our only regret was we did not save room for dessert....
Terrible service - ordered trout & sure that served salmon
Will not return
Ambiance outside was great. Woman who took our reservation was wonderful and brought me a rose for my birthday. Overall the experience went downhill from there. Service from Ed was terrible. He came by our table 3 times to apologize and said he would be right back. He took the drink order from 6 top behind us, then brought their drink order and began taking their food order before stopping at our table. The host Phil came by to ask if our drink order had been taken which it hadn’t so, he stepped in to bring us wine. Some time later he asked if our food order had been taken which it had not, so he brought us a new server Debbie. She inherited a difficult situation. We ordered the baked Brie, followed by the trout also dine with side chopped salad and Caesar salad. Presentation was slow, disjointed and mediocre. We were considering swordfish and desert but decided to stop there.
Very good menu. Excellent service.
Foot very good. A little bit more expensive than expected but good $85 per couple menu with
Wine was available which we did not pick ( to try various different things from the menu)
From the time we walked in the door we felt special. Our waiter was extremely friendly and professional. The food was delicious. We finished it off with the tiramisu. Amazing!
Food Great. Outdoor seating Beautiful and very comfortable .
Great food and nice outdoor setting. My asparagus side was forgotten so they held all the food until it was done. This meant we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. But it was great food . . . I had the mushroom ravioli and asparagus w/hollandaise, my husband had black bean soup and filet. Trifle was very tasty.
My family just celebrated a birthday at Polo Grill and had a wonderful time. Service is always amazing and the food is outstanding! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent food and atmosphere
Felt very safe with staff following mask regulations
Food was excellent and the staff were super kind and attentive
We ate outside on the patio and it was lovely
Must try if you’re in the area.
We had a reservation for 6:30 on a Monday night to sit out doors. We arrived and the haze from cigar smoke was overpowering. I went inside to complain only to be informed "Monday is Cigar night" out side. They gave us a nice table inside. Lucky for us it was not at all full. Maybe 3 other tables. We waited over a half an hour for our drinks which were not ordered right away. Our VERY talkative waiter finally took out orders. When another glass of wine was requested it took 25 minutes of hearing " I'm sorry's. " I also requested bread when our entrees were ordered I asked the waiter 4 times and when it finally arrived (nice and hot) we had all finished our dinner, From 6:30 arrival we departed at 10 minutes to 9. Don't know what the service would have been like if the restaurant had been full.
Polo Grill was better than ever. The food was yummy, the service fantastic and it is wonderful they are open and back in business. Love the dress code, No tank tops, and no ball caps...Hot Damn!
