Sat outside and except for a cool breeze, we enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent and it was an enjoyable evening.
We had the best filets we have had in a long time, and they we prepared perfectly. The Au gratin potatoes were delicious. It was a delicious dinner and I am sure we will be returning soon.
Salad was wilted and the croutons soft. The price for the entree’s were in the high side.
Been to polo grill numerous times... always an enjoyable dinner
Nice and safe outdoor seating! Service very good and food excellent!
Amazing food and ambiance. They were accommodating to our emotional support dog outside as well. We will definitely be back!
Great spot. Pro waiters. Extensive bar. Best location
Really enjoyed the ambiance and food. Very fresh fish and excellent steak dishes on the menu. Our waiter was quite knowledgeable. We’ll be back!
Staff was superb. Outdoor dining with fun music and food that was amazing. Debating if we should even bother trying other places!
The former Polo Grill has changed hands. Don’t go!
While the welcome outdoor dining option was comfortably heated, the noise level was high. Given the limited choices for dining these days, one can deal with some noise. But the food and service were outright terrible right from the beginning. The recommended white wine was like water and its replacement not much improved. No apology, more like disdain. Three of us ordered the Pompano special. Thirty (!), yes 30 minutes later, the waiter announced pompano was no longer available! We reordered but did not get our dinner for another forty-five (45!!!) minutes, despite repeated reassurances that our dinners had priority and were “on the grill.” When the dinners arrived, without apology or comp offer, not one dinner was anything but mediocre at best. But for the great company of and conversation with good friends, the experience was a complete disaster.
Always great food and great service
Just simply missed the mark for a birthday dinner. This was our first visit to Polo Grill as we are relatively new to the area. Had heard good things so decided to give it a try. Service was excellent (Greg) and outdoor setting was very pleasant (except for the cigar smoke from a table some distance away...but what are you going to do/say....it is outside). Lobster bisque was very good as was the bread served prior to entrees. I had the lamb chops which were more medium than medium rare as I requested. Portion was reasonable, but flavor was lacking. Brussel sprouts ordered as a side were tasty (bacon - yum), but undercooked. Husband's seafood sauté was a generous portion and included a good variety of seafood, but again, flavor profile was lacking.
I have been told it is under new management after an extended closure over the summer. I hope they are successful and will give it another try in coming months.
Very comfortable outdoor dining with heaters. Excellent service. Food was delicious.
We had the veal and the seafood saute. Both were delicious and we were very satisfied with our meals. We will go back.
Superb outdoor dining and service. Management would do well to invest a bit more into the ambiance of the outdoor seating area as I predict post-COVID it will become EXTREMELY popular.
Lovely setting, amazing cocktails and A good , varied menu
We were one of two tables seated inside in a Wednesday night. We were treated to the answering machine greeting multiple times during our meal. Very intrusive. My $40 ribeye was not cooked to order. It was overcooked. I was restricted to scalloped potatoes as the accompanying side dish; however, the wedge salad was quite good. Very odd experience for a "higher-end" restaurant.
Great food and service
Food was alright but not great. Service was very good.
Food and ambiance were excellent. Our server Ty was very annoying and saying inappropriate
Just an amazing dinner. Cannot recommend more the Steak and Egg. Best short rib I have ever had. Get the creme brûlée
The calamari frites were out of this world- and that started a meal that was outdoors and excellent. Everything was delicious- from the filet Oscar and truffle potatoes to the mousse served in a ballon bowl of chocolate.
Great food, great environment, and even better service. Our waiter, Greg, was fantastic! We will definitely be visiting this restaurant often.
nice dinner on the patio with friends. will go again
2 hrs to get food
Claimed they had too many walkins
People with reservations had poor experience because restaurant chose to over load
Did not seem to be anyone running the place
This was a very good meal. We should have tried this restaurant much sooner. We will be back often.
Good food. Would say a bit overpriced for portion size
Polo Grille is becoming one of my favorite to dine in Vero Beach
Excellent Christmas Eve meal with outstanding service. Large served on a large covered patio.
Wasn’t sure what to expect since Polo Grill is under new ownership. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, the interesting menu and the excellent service. It is a little loud since you are outside near the road but that is small price to pay for the peace of mind during COVID. We will be back!
Our food was very good, but it wasn’t great except for the baked Brie which was out of this world yummy! Our server, on the other hand, was excellent! He was so knowledgeable and very attentive! We would probably return but probably more for appetizers and drinks!
Great food and service. Very nice outside dining.
Delicious food!
Ate outside on the patio.....quiet and lovely evening
Outdoor dining was very dark and slow. The food was mediocre at best and very expensive on top of everything. I get with covid the restaurants need to make up for the lower volume of customers. And I’m happy to pay extra - but just be good food sand service. Sorry - we won’t be back.
Great night
We did the early bird to try the place. Loved the outside seating area. Great atmosphere. Chairs very comfortable. Spacing was very good. Early menu is a bit limited in my book and each of the 6-8 entrees were a different price. I had Chicken Masala ($19.00) and my friend had the filet mignon, ($25.00). Portions were decent. Salad quite small but tasty. We lucked out with the last two pieces of sweet potato pie for dessert which was outstanding. Would go back and eat off the regular menu though prices will be more expensive.
Wonderful service, and delicious food… Love the ambience… Will be back!
I have been here three times and have enjoyed it each time.
Veal was overcooked and tough. Very slow service. Scallops were very good.
great spot for outdoor dining. They set it up nicely!
Enjoyed a lovely, cozy, quiet dinner inside, followed by drinks and dessert in the covered patio area. Our server, Urs, was excellent, attentive , and accommodating. Strongly recommend this fine dining experience in Vero Beach!
