Participated in Planta Cocina's Maki Monday. It was wild. It costs around $29 per person, so you have to be able to eat at least three rolls each to make it economical--as Mondays also has all rolls for $9 (including the crispy rice!) We were barely able to make that total as the rolls are quite filling. It wasn't the most well-oiled machine as we didn't get the first roll we ordered until very late as it seemingly kept going to other tables, and sometimes we had rolls pop on our table that we didn't actually request. Having said that, the rolls were plentiful and delicious, dirty plates were quickly bussed, and the service was fantastic. Would definitely go back, but would bring a bigger appetite.

What made the experience even more exceptional was the attentive service from a kitchen staff member who delivered my burger. He thoughtfully informed me of the available Thousand Island and another special dressing, enhancing the burger's flavor profile in a way I hadn't anticipated – a fantastic, unexpected touch!My waitress also went above and beyond, exemplifying outstanding service. Though mustard isn't typically available, she kindly tracked some down from a catering supply, demonstrating a truly remarkable commitment to guest satisfaction. Her effort was genuinely appreciated and made a significant difference to my meal.The entire experience was simply wonderful, a testament to PLANTA Cocina's commitment to quality and service. Will not be returning. I was immediately told I could not be seated with a wait time of 90 mins. The restaurant was not crowded at all and with two parties also waiting to be seated. I proceeded to the the host know that I did make a reservation before arriving now if she would have asked from the beginning instead of assuming I would have felt like a regular customer instead I feel like a unwanted customer

Always delicious food. Only suggestion is to have heat lamps where the heat reaches the guests. The current ones are so high up on the ceiling that the wind blows any heat away. It was chilly and took away from some of the focus on the food. Blankets were a thoughtful touch though. Kudos to the chef. So yummy. Always have those 1000 layer potatoes and Udon truffle noodles and tried the croquettes this time. All so tasty!!

Loved the atmosphere with views of the Marina, the food was incredible... it's an exciting restaurant. Overall, the service was wonderful, except when there was a shift change; wait time, bill, etc.. The manager and server, Whitney, who was so helpful, even though we were not her table. They more than made up for it. Highly recommend... Enjoy!

Lovely setting by the marina, we were seated by the window with a great view. The waitstaff was solid--polite, attentive, friendly. Food was delicious, the black garlic tofu was a standout and we loved the miso glazed salmon. We splurged on the carrot cake and it was totally worth it. One caveat is that food service takes a bit, so be patient.

Planta is my LIFE. I am obsessed, everything is to die for, Ive never had vegan food like this. The sushi melts in your mouth, the pastas are rich and full of flavor, and the staff is really educated on all ingredients. 15/10 you must dine here - this is the standard

It took forever to be seated. Then it took forever for anyone to come get our drink or food order. We had to flag someone down. Then we didn’t have a regular waiter so we weren’t sure who to flag down for the check either. Service not great
