I went to Plant Food + Wine for a very special occasion, to ask my girlfriend to marry me. My girlfriend has been Vegan for 15 years, and has always stated how she wanted to go to this particular locale. The food was off the chain, and the wine was outstanding. I am particularly thankful and grateful for the incredible customer service. The team went above and beyond to make our engagement special, by taking pictures and video, and providing champagne and desert. We were blown away by the service, by the food, and by the ambiance. Thanks so much; we will be back!

As a graduate of the Mathew Kennedy plant lab courses I knew what to expect and was not dissappointed. My only comment , the portions in the latter courses of the tasting menu were slightly too large ... maybe I just need to eat more !... sublime though and magical wine pairings

Been wanting to come to Plant Food & Wine for years now, and it did NOT disappoint. All of the food was outstanding, the service was wonderful, and all of the waiter's recommendations were incredible, so if you're not sure what to get, ask! He recommended things we weren't thinking of ordering that turned out to be incredible. Definitely order the Coconut Cream Pie - it's raw and totally incredible. You'll be swooning for each bite!

I’m not vegan, but I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. We went for my sister’s bachelorette dinner and it was wonderful. We were seated in the private wine room in the garden. Beautiful ambiance and great tasting food.

Food was just ok. Cauliflower had so much sugary sauce I could have made it in 5 minutes. Kale salad was ok. Prices are too high for the quality

It's pricey but it is absolutely delicious. Inventive, creative beautiful vegan dishes. Go here for a special dinner, and I highly recommend sharing the starters, sides, and vegetables - an entree isn't even necessary. A great spot for a glass of wine and the dessert alone.

I almost never write reviews. To be upfront - during the board meetings for the beef industry when they look at their assets - there's a picture of me. Just grilled a fantastic grass feed filet mignon that I rinsed down with a red burgundy. Love food and plan vacations around Michelin star rated restaurants. I've had fantastic vegan deserts, never gone to a vegan restaurants. What's the point.....there's no meat !!! I've a new appreciation for vegan food after a birthday dinner for my wife at Plant+Food. My wife been on a gluten free diet, veggies diet. For her birthday she wanted to go deeper into the rabbit hole of healthy food. I found, Plant Food, great reviews, I reluctantly booked it. We were greeted by a sweet, smiling girl. Got a good table in the back, in the garden, which I recommend. At night very cozy, during the day....I'd pick the inside. We ended up spending $200 on the dinner, at face value one would think WTF - $200 for veggies. I could fill up 2 shopping carts of veggies for $200. BUT I get it. This is all in the prep and I bet some of these dishes takes time. My review - this is crazy good. If someone would prep my food like this every day - I could go vegan. To hard to prep by myself. Not complaining about the cost - we go out with another couple for dinners, bring our wines and often spend $1000. $200 for my wife, son and myself was alright considering how good it was. Had 3 starters - I love real cheese, tried their cheese platter - it was great but in a different way. Didn't taste exactly as cheese but really good, nice presentation. Had the spicy grilled peppers - fantastic Had the log bread with fake butter - fake butter, better than butter. My son ordered Heirloom Tomato + Zucchini Lasagna - great. My wife had Plant Bowl - great. I ordered a spicy kind of taco of some kind - that was also great. Desert, tiramisu - just great, also a lemon something cake that was a bit sweet. From a certified meat loving guy - this was great - just great.

Really only worth eating here for the atmosphere of the patio, IMHO. If patio seating is not available, skip it. Food on our last visit was heavy, oily, under seasoned, bland.

This place was a great environment for a date night, along with tasty plant-based food and great wine!
The kimchi dumplings and raclette "snacks" were exquisite! My boyfriend is french and loves cheese and the raclette shocked him with how delicious it was. To end our meal we ordered the tiramisu and it was definitely different from any other tiramisu dessert Ive tried, extremely tasty!

Blown away! We all were. Re-invigorated the jaded foodie I’d become. This is the future of cuisine, period. Low impact on the planet and inspired, delicious dishes from beginning to end. Add in incredible minimalist design and impeccable service and this place ranks as one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in many years. Thank you Plant Food and Wine!

This place never fails, they update the menu often enough that our visits are always met with new amazing choices. The wait staff are much more friendly than many of the other trendy Venice hotspots and the back courtyard is perfect for outdoor Venice dining.

We have dined there a few times and it still our favorite vegan spot.
It is not the typical vegan versions of meat dishes or bowls. Their dishes are unique and super tasty.
The location is beautiful, particular the outside patio in the evening when they turn on the lights.
A bit upscale but worth it. Great selection of wines. Super friendly staff.

I've been to Plant Food twice now and sat on the patio both times. It's a beautiful place, the food is amazing and the service is solid. If I could change one thing, I'd lower the prices a little, then I could go more often.

The first thing I must mention is the cost. Very expensive. Portion size small. Service, very nice, but our server was way slow and possibly just forgetful or overwhelmed. Don't know what the problem was. If he wasn't so nice I was going to jump. My daughter, the vegan and supposedly very mellow was giving me the evil eye. Probably won't go back unless someone else is paying. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but $$.

Creative food laid back service. I tried the tasting menu and the variety was excellent, no one dish sticks out and none were bad. The smoked gnocchi was my favorite, though I prefer a lighter texture the flavor more than made up for the density. The banana cream pie dessert may have been the least successful, maybe a bit too healthy so the crust was dull in texture and flavor. The seaweed noodle dish was well done, but challenging in that the “noodles” kind of stuck in teeth and were well, seaweed. Very flavorful. My biggest concern was the 10 minutes before I was asked for my order and the slow pace of service. I dined alone with my iPad so the pacing was not to my taste. Also odd the bus person tried to save my silverware for the next course only once, when the next course was dessert.
