If you're into plant based foods and great wine cocktails, this is the place for you. I had the Cashew Raclette, the Avocado Tikka, and the Spicy Udon. Every dish was amazing. Definitely coming back soon.

We went for Valentine’s Day. It was wonderful! It’s so great to have an elevated cuisine option as a vegan. It’s special but not stuffy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to going again soon! PS. The black truffle aggnoloti was delicious!

Really wish they notified reservations when there are preset menus, was looking forward to other items on the menu. Amount of food for the price was not worth it when their normal menu is so much better!

Always a delight with unique presentation and unbelievable flavors. Probably our favorite restaurant to enjoy a plant based meal. Love to eat there more often.

Amazing back patio with ample heaters for a cold night, every menu item I ate was phenomenal. If you’re thinking of giving this place a try, DO IT.

We were shown to a nice patio table. We had reservations. It was quite cold, and breezy. I do wish that they had had more heaters available. We did ask. I'm not sure why we were not offered a table inside in the warmth.

While I found some of the flavors to be outstanding, the presentation of the menu left much to be desired, especially for a member of my dining party, who is allergic to cashews. The menu clearly states "AF, SF, NF, and GF" (allium, soy, nut, and gluten free, respectively). However, it does not elucidate what type of nuts, or what soy product, for example. As it turned out, my friend had only a choice of a couple of entrees, and only one dessert. If this had been made clear on the menu, and therefore on the website, I would have chosen a different location for our dinner.

That said, the appetizers were the highlight of the meal. We had the Lodge Bread, The Hummous, and two of the three of us had the Cashew Raclette. The bread was outstanding, and we could easily have made a meal of a loaf or two of that alone. The hummous was right up there in the top 5 I've ever had. The Cashew raclette was odd in both texture and lack of taste. It was an expensive experiment.

Soy and smoked seemed to dominate the mains, so I had the fennel "sausage," with gigante beans. The texture of said sausage was much like the beans themselves, which were the better of the two items on the plate. The overall ragu was flavorful and enjoyable, but the sausage was disappointing.

Our third guest had the hay-smoked gnocchi, which the waiter had assured us was quite smoky indeed (hence why I did not order it). It was not. It had a strangely clean and slightly-hay flavor. I do not know if it would have worn well for an entire portion, but I was intrigued by the one gnocchi I tasted.

We did not have dessert, as the only one available to my cashew-allergic friend would have been the carrot cake, which did not interest him. We adjourned to another local haunt for pie.

My new favorite restaurant in Venice❣️
It was a pre-birthday dinner and it was much more a gastronomical experience than just having a meal.
EVERY BITE OF EVERYTHING WAS EPIC❣️
And Victoria (our server) and Avalon (hostess/dj) were so warm and wonderful.
We loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day on my Birthday❣️ The only reason I’m not there today is because I’m on my way to Bali (writing this from Taipei as I transit)
Hope to see you all again soon❣️🙏🏽😘

Really great food, and we left very full, especially rare for such high end plant based cuisine. We had a very knowledgable waitress. Her recommended dishes and wine were spot on. And she asked the kitchen for special diet needs with no problem. The front room is way quieter than the main part of the restaurant, which is wonderful, but it's also a bit cut off so difficult for the waitress to give us full attention.

Eaten here many times- inconsistency only consistent aspect. This time by far the worst. With 1/2 exception, every dish was a mess of overlapping tastes and textures created without any overarching vision. It was as if all were created by someone who really dislikes the taste of fresh vegetables and felt a need to cover with confusion. Never had that impression at this restaurant before, although always obvious that chef has no faith in pure tastes of excellent products. For example, the wakame seaweed salad.: one could see some seaweed underneath a pile of other ingredients, but neither the taste nor the texture of the seaweed was discernible in the combination. Why bother with wakame if there is no belief that its taste is worth savoring? The 1/2 exception mentioned above is worth noting. We had an order of Brussels sprouts with, if memory serves, a sort of apple puree. Superb. Brussels sprouts almost blackened, tender and delicious by themselves. the interaction between the sweeter puree and the sharper sprouts was perfectly balanced and wonderful. So wonderful we ordered a second serving. Sprouts this time barely cooked, totally green rather than blackened. Resulting taste with puree unbalanced and uninteresting. Obviously no consistency in kitchen- but which version is the one the chef wanted??

Absolutely a must if your looking for a true plant based experience. Each dish is thought through and elegantly assembled, bringing together all elements of taste and texture. It is so nice to taste the food for what it rather that just a pile of vegetables that are fried or smothered in sauce.
Explore the menu and share, there are so many great things to try. We had our server guide us through what were some of the house favorites and customer favorites, not one missed the mark. Very nice wine list to complement.
Will return when back in town

The best vegan restaurant in LA and one of the best anywhere. It's not an every-day experience for most, but it's worth it for many reasons. My favorite spot is the back patio where it's quieter and better for conversation than the front rooms.

Food, service and experience were all exceptional. Our only suggestion for improvement would be for there to be additional options for wine by the glass. Where a party has different tastes, bottles are not an option and we would have enjoyed a greater variety.

One of the most creative and delicious restaurants I have been to in any city, Vegan or not.
We started with the Artisanal cheese tasting- sublime, the wild mushroom sandwich was so delicious, paired with a wonderful natural wine, and the desserts were to die for!
Can't wait to go back and try other dishes, simply the best!

The food is delicious. The cheese plate and mushroom pate are a must. I recommend sitting on the patio. It is a lovely space and quieter than inside.

One of my fave places.. I go all the time. The avo tikka, lodge bread with cheese I forget the name and kelp noodles are my fave. So good and a really gorgeous restaurant as well.

Great food recommendations, attentive service, and the extra touch- The hostess noticed us trying to (unsuccessfully) Shazam a song, and came over to share the title and artist name with us. Truly above and beyond- Thanks again!

Delicious and creative vegan food in an intimate setting. Went there for our anniversary dinner and sat at a cozy table near the fireplace, the back room and patio seemed a little more open so that diners can pick between intimate and social. We thoroughly enjoyed our faro fennel sausage raw lasagna (with the freshest tomatoes and basil I've tasted), but surprisingly, our favorite menu item was the started: the cashew raclette with the house-made sourdough. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, would highly recommend for a special occasion or date night.
