   Our first visit. The seafood was excellent and I would order the mahi-mahi again. Really enjoyed the accompaning risotto.

   This is a go to for the The Donain. It’s never to busy or go loud. The food is good at a good price. Most plates are $20-30 including the salmon and the daily specials! I would recommend the hushpuppies and the salmon risotto. Drinks were made well, service is always attentive, always a nice way to end my day from shopping. Also, happy hour includes $1 oysters from 3-6pm. We’ve been here before during happy hour and it’s been very good. Nice casual date night, good girls night because you can hear each other talk. 🤗

   We arrived to Plank Provisions as a celebratory luncheon for Administrative Professionals' Day. We arrived on time for our reservation and were promptly seated. At this time a waiter arrived and took our initial drink order and said they'd give us a few minutes before returning. It took 10 - 15 minutes before the waiter came back ( it appeared that it was one waiter serving every table there ) and we went ahead and placed our full orders in ( secondary drinks and food ). It was another 20 - 25 minutes before we received those secondary drinks or any water refills. It then took another 30 minutes or more before we received our food. At this tie, this is about an hour, if not more, past our arrival time. When we mentioned to someone serving us that we were unhappy with the delay, their response was "I'm just the bartender, let me find a manager". 5 minutes later, someone stopped by our table to ask if our food was good, but never introduced themselves as the manager or noted in any way that they were stopping by to hear what issues we wanted to speak about. We had to ask more than once before it was confirmed that they were in fact a manager. When we explained the poor service and long delay for food and drinks, they didn't apologize or offer any reason for why this happened. The food itself was fine. Several members of our group stated their fish was dry and overcooked. One member ordered a sandwich and said it wasn't warm anymore by the time it arrived to our table. Everything else was okay, but ruined by the long wait. Generally, it felt like the celebratory lunch was no longer a celebratory lunch about half way through our visit due to feeling like we were being ignored, as we were watching the tables around us receive multiple courses of food.

   Always wanted to try Plank Provisions. Enjoyed our visit and will be back. We had the hushpuppies to begin and the redfish and branzino mains. The passion palmer and mint refresher mocktails were also quite good.

   I was visiting Austin from the SF Bay Area, CA for a Nursing Conference. I found Plank Seafood Provisions on the open table app and it was a short drive from my hotel. Luckily, I made reservations because it was Friday evening and the restaurant was really busy. Katelyn S was my Server and she made some excellent recommendations for food and drink specials based on my preferences. The Cobia and mushroom risotto was so delicious! I love dessert and I’m glad I asked Katelyn about the dessert menu because the Chocolate Terrine she recommended was my absolute favorite dessert during my trip. Thank you to Katelyn and her team for such a memorable experience! I highly recommend Plank Seafood Provisions for dinner!

   I’m a huge seafood fan so I am very picky on where I like to get it from. My first time trying plank, super glad I finally gave it a shot because I will definitely be back. Such great service, food and wine. Our serve Esmeralda was absolutely amazing. The food was so flavorful and the experience was overall fantastic! 9/10 spots, highly recommend

   My husband and I really enjoyed our meal. We had the salmon and the redfish entrees, one drink each, and a dessert to share and it was all delicious, from the perfectly cooked fish to the risotto that came with the salmon and the fingerling potatoes and broccolini that came with the redfish. Then entrees aren’t huge, which is a plus for us, but hearty eaters should probably add an appetizer. Definitely recommend the chocolate dessert with peanut butter ice cream! I like the variety of the menu, which includes fish tacos and a shrimp po’boy, and the casual vibe. We plan on coming back. Service was great.

    Excellent Red Fish!!! Service was great. Sat on patio and it was surprisingly quiet with a nice breeze. Great time had by all!!
