PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson, New York, is a seafood restaurant that also doubles as a fresh fish market to the local community. There is something for everyone with a menu including seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken and pasta. Enjoy a meal under our heaters on the outside deck during the warmer seasons. Full bar available and a great place to catch your favorite sports games. Dogs are permitted on the outside deck. We are family friendly, so make sure to stop in after your visit to Rocketship Park which is located just across our parking lot.
We additionally serve Sushi Wednesday - Sunday.

    Seating was great- food was ok. Crab cakes had lots of filler and scallops were a bit overcooked 😔 Appetizers were really good. Service was ok. Pricing was high considering the food was just ok. Maybe time for an update to the list of side dishes.

    We ordered lobster tails. They were so over cooked that you couldn’t get meat out. I exchanged for a lobster roll , which was ok. My husband refused to eat anything else. Soups ( New England clam chowder and lobster bisque. )were sub par. Not much better than a fast food place.

    Overall good. I had bucket of steamers which were very good. Wife had lobster roll which had way too much mayo. I make a much better one. Side salad was good. Very flood service, nice and attentive waitress. Nice outside deck table despite being in parking lot.

    Quiet intimate little dining location , parking was difficult but the food made up for it. Would recommend pj lobsterhouse.

    What a delicious experience our waitress couldn’t be any nicer. She was amazing with my grandmother. We will definitely be coming back. This is our new go to for lobster

    Took wife for Mothet’s day. Even though the place was packed service did not suffer. Our waitress was kind and attentive and the food came up pretty quick

    Had to wait for reservation, offered a booth instead of table. neededWill have o a highchair but too low for a booth. 2 meals were good. but flounder came out slightly warm and dried out. waitress was very inattentive. There was a hair in the coldslaw . Waitress offered us another one as a resolution. Would you want another one? Will have to think twice before going back

    A Hidden Gem. The food was delicious, and the quality of food was good. Creamy spinach was served on two different plates for two different dishes. It appeared that one dish had more spinach than my dish. That was minor but as per Gordon Ramsay, no consistency

    Enjoyed a couple of cocktails at the bar by choice before sitting early for our 5 o’clock dinner reservations! We started out with the seafood tower and wow was it delicious and so much food!!!! I also had a cup of lobster bisque that was so delicious!!!!! For dinner I ordered the fried clams which I was too full to eat so brought home and ate later! Even heated up I enjoyed it very much! My husband had the stuffed flounder which he said was delicious! I also loved that the waitress waited to bring next course until we were done with the current one! Great great service!! We will be back!

    Food is good, but waitress was horrible didn't check on us once through the dinner left us sitting no drink refills or to check on how we liked the meals
