Lunch with friends
Restaurant did not respect the reservation; they gave us a table 50 minutes after our reservation time even though we arrived on time. They asked us to place the order right when we arrived without giving us a table, when they finally gave us the table they told us that they only took the order however they did not prepared it so it added 25 more minutes of wait time. No one came to apologize for the situation
The service was great. The hostess took our pizza order ahead of time so we had a drink during our short wait and when our table was ready so was our pizza!
Just moved to Chicago from Texas and thought we would try deep dish. Made a reservation on open table and when we arrived (super hungry) we were told the individual deep dish pizzas would take 45 minutes. We were hungry so we ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and calamari, both tasted frozen and we're cool to the touch when they arrived to our table. I ordered the Numero Uno pizza and it was cold in middle after waiting 45 minutes. Save your money and go to an authentic Italian restaurant.
Birthday trip to Chicago
As soon I walked inn the place looked dirty and the furniture is very old , the BAD SMELL FROM THE BATHROOMS. Was terrible I had to asked for a table far-away and even like that I could smell it.
I ordered a house salad and it was not good , the deep pizza was ok nothing yummy .WONT EVER BE BACK
Our server was awesome! Juanito? The food was fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
First deep dish experience for the kids
We got dip dish pizza and was delicious
Still the best after all
Loud & disorganized, servers seemed stressed
Overall we seem to catch them by surprise when we came in and the bartender ended up having to be our waiter instead of putting us at a reserve table. Despite this rough start it was a good overall experience
Extremely busy but they did the best they could. Vegetarian soup was the best I’ve ever had. Meat pizzas were good to very good but the spinach mushroom pie was sub par. Prices were very good, service was rough but they were overwhelmed so no harm there. Would return if we lived in Chicago.
We had an reservation, but people who didn’t have a reservation and waited at the entrance finally got a booth and we were placed right next to the exit.
Quality of food was ok, we didn’t expect much just wanted to experience legendary Chicago pizza.
Actually I can not call the deep dish pizza a pizza at all. It is more like a pie.
We went for our anniversary, late afternoon on a Saturday in March We ordered calamari, which was great!
The pizza, on the other hand, was very disappointing! We ordered the traditional deep dish cheese & sausage pizza. It arrived to our table warm, not hot and it was over cooked. The crust was dry and had a very small amount of cheese. It was hard to cut, even with a knife.
We have been to UNO’s on many occasions. Not sure if it’s a management issue, or an employee issue, but the overall quality and service has gone down!
Had a reservation but they weren't even open.
The food was great, but the service sucked. They sat us by the door so every time the door opened we got a gust of cold air.
Food and service was absolutely amazing and everyone was so friendly ... Very much enjoyed my first time in the city!!!
Got there right when they opened and we were seated quickly. Since we were the first ones our food came out pretty quickly and was very good. Can’t say anything about it if it were busy, would come again.
Always a great stop when in Chicago! Good service; especially using Open Table reservations we walked right in at 6pm! Excellent Long Island Tea from the bar.
Lunch with my daughter
Sister and niece visiting from CA and niece wanted true Chicago pizza!
Valentine’s Day date
So cozy and perfect there for our family with young kids!
These people serve delicious pizza at great prices. I hope that it does not resume as a place you go and wait for 3 hours to get into because they in the past take no reservations and there’s delicious pizza all over Chicago. Go while you can reserve and enjoy
Hadn’t been there in a long time and we forgot how good the crust is!
I've been eating there for 50 years. Every pizza was a winner!
Did not have space for the reservation we made and stated they usually just seat guests by first come first serve.
Was great and delicious
We set outside far away from the actual restaurant. There was lots of noise from the streets. The pizza was okay. All together we were disappointed
Good pizza in a well spaced outdoor setting. A bit noisy last Saturday due to people on the streets celebrating the Biden/Harris victory.
Our waitress was very attentive and awesome. The food was terrific!!
Service was excellent. The staff was so pleasant.
We waited almost 45min for our reservation and had to order before being seated. Our waiter was dirty in appearance and not personable. The food was lack luster and not worth the price or time we waited. To top it off, the restaurant didn’t even attempt to implement social distancing. It was like people were on top of one another
Birthday was amazing
First let me say I’ve been eating at Uno’s for 31yrs. I’ve NEVER EVER had a bad experience until 10/17/2020. Our server never asked if we’d like drinks. Our pizza came but lacked tomatoes or sauce.
I was very, very disappointed.
Tried the original Pizzeria Uno. Thirty-five minute reservation delay. Servers failed to check up on us or offer refills. Pizza was disappointing.
Open table works well here. We came out of the movie at 600 north Michigan and at the last minute decided to get dinner. I went to open table to see what places were available. I was pleasantly surprised to see pizzeria uno available at 6 pm. 15 minutes ahead of when we came out of the movie.
We walked over and arrived at 5:55. The hostess found our reservation. Told us we would need to wait 15 minutes to eat inside and took the pizza order. This was much better experience than the people without reservations. They were quoted a 40 minute wait time. We were seated in 15 minutes. My girlfriend enjoyed her salad. The Pizza is the best. Was great this time too. Service was pleasant too.
We made reservation for 6, got there at 6, when we arrived the hostess said they were clearing off a table and we’d be seated quickly, she then seated multiple parties of 2 ahead of us, and I finally spoke up after 20 minutes. She explained the parties were there before us, and denied ever saying we’d be seated........
Finally a couple who just walked in asked if there was seating outside available, the hostess nodded and offered to seat them right away..... I was done being polite, I called her out and she said I never asked about outside...... I’m the customer, I shouldn’t have to ask.
The pizza was average, I dont know how this place stays in business with Lou’s and Gio’s nearby.
Many years sine I had been here and it was as good as I remember
