The restaurant has a great vibe excellent service and very good food. Our server James was excellent and Steve at the bar was excellent as well.

This was our 2nd visit to Pivot Prime. Our group was seated on time and right next to the line. It was fun to be able to see all the amazing food being delivered to the tables. The restaurant has an elevated swanky vibe that we love. Being a group it allowed us the opportunity to try a wide variety of the menu. For appetizers the French onion short rib stole the show with the Crispy Lobster Tail and meatball following closely behind. For steaks we had the cowboy ribeye, the 6oz filet, American Waygu (served cold), the Manhattan, and the 36oz Tomahawk (serves 2-3). The tableside presentation for the Tomahawk is a sight to see! A hanging chunk of meat perfection, doused with Elijah Craig and then lit on fire. The bourbon-y goodness trickled from the meat onto a side of Lyonnaise potatoes. Despite the show our favorite steak was the Manhattan. We couldn’t get enough of the bleu cheese compound butter! We had a wide selection of sides: crack fries, pomme puree, Brussels, lobster Mac and cheese and smoked mushrooms (which were toooo smoked for me). The lobster Mac was probably the best I’ve ever had. Crack fries were on point and a must if you like a crispier potato. We finished off the night with dessert. We were disappointed to hear that the freezer was broken so we were unable to enjoy the pistachio or vanilla bean gelato. We still ordered the bananas foster bread pudding and they subbed the vanilla bean gelato with chantilly cream. Although we appreciated the effort the gelato really makes that dessert shine. The lemon curd pavlova was exquisite and such a unique experience. We did experience a few service snafu’s but our waiter, Shawn, was very apologetic and the team worked quickly to fix the errors. Being a newer restaurant we completely understand. We arrived too late in the evening to enjoy the truffle ravioli, so we will have to come back for that and everything else we missed! All in all a great experience!

It is still VERY obvious that this is a new restaurant, and they are struggling with their servers and timing.

The atmosphere and service at Pivot Prime are both incredible! Our server, James, took the time to explain the menu to us and offered several recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the hamachi crudo appetizer to the recommended bottle of Malbec to the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The steaks were definitely the highlight of our visit! I had a filet and lobster tail, and my husband ordered the special, a ribeye with whiskey shoyu butter and stuffed squash blossoms. I also have to mention the Brussels sprouts, they were delicious! We just may become regulars here, there are many other delicious options on the menu that we can’t wait to try! I highly recommend Pivot Prime, especially for a special occasion like an anniversary, as my husband and I were celebrating. Be sure to make a reservation, I predict this being a very popular restaurant!
