Pittsburgh Blue - Maple Grove
Open for lunch & dinner seven days a week, Pittsburgh Blue - Maple Grove serves a full menu in the bar. Enjoy our outdoor patio with a variety of seating options including at the patio bar.
Excellent food. Filet mignon for two plus loaded mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Yum!
The food is always top notch. It might be more expensive than you are used to, but it's worth it.
We received gift cards in the amount of $200 from our 50th anniversary. We decided to take our daughter to Pittsburgh Blue for her birthday and also my other daughter's family of 3. WOW - never thought it would be that expensive!! Very disappointed to fined out nothing was included in the main entree. Food was not equal to what I had to pay for it.
Tonight was a great birthday celebration! People need to know that Pittsburgh Blue isn't only for upscale dinners. They have the best Reuben in town! There's also a patty melt on the menu that I will try at some point. Tony's service was excellent as was the bartender's for a pre-dinner cocktail. Thank you for the scrumptious birthday dessert!
We love PB and come here often. The only reason for the less than 5 star rating was due to our server Jennie/Jennifer. Haven't seen her before. She may be new. She was underwhelming to say the least.
We will still come back, but will likely ask to sit in someone else's section.
Very noisy. Riley our server was excellent. You need to put carpet on ceiling or something to help with the noise level. We sat in a booth but silverware was continually wiped and thrown in basket behind us - very loud.
We had the lobster Mac and cheese thought it was dried out and the cheese was overcooked for the price. We tried the lobster Mac and cheese at Baldamar in Roseville and it was so amazing thought it would be way better at your restaurant but it wasn’t but everything else was good and the service was amazing
We had a great time! It was our 30th anniversary and we received a free lava cake and great service. The food came quickly and the portions were large! We couldn’t even finish our meals so we took part of it home in a nice box in a Pittsburgh Blue bag! Awesome time! Thank you!
Food was perfect as usual, love this place!!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Pittsburgh Blue. Our steaks were delicious and our server was attentive. I recommend this as a special occasion restaurant.
As usual, the food and service were great. However, the location in the restaurant was something to be desired. It was next to a drafty door. While there was a current over the door, there was a draft still and another draft from the front door. In my opinion, I would not have a table in that location during the late fall to early spring months.
Amazing service! Will deffenetly go back and recommend to friends.food was delicious
They were very accommodating and allowed for me to drop off flowers to be placed on the table prior to our arrival. Our waitress was awesome and even brought out a dessert for the special occasion we were celebrating. Thanks for a great experience and evening!
I would recommend, but the portions are so tiny. A 3 inch by 1 inch piece of salmon was $32.95. It was ridiculous. I can’t justify that. It was our anniversary and the first year we went there for our anniversary, they brought out a cupcake with a candle on it. They’ve not done that since. You get 2 granite pieces of Bit O Honey. I can get that at the dime store. I’m sorry, but it was disappointing. The food tasted fine, you could actually hear yourself at the table, the lighting was pleasant and everyone was very amicable.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious. I hate shrimp but I love your coconut shrimp. And prime rib is one of the best I have ever had. The service was amazing. The waiter was on top of everything. Would recommend to everyone.
Great place for our Anniversary! Food, waitress, service, and wine were great!
Great establishment! the service was top notch. server went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect.
Blue is always amazing. Great food, wonderful service.
The food was good; our server was excellent; it was a bit noisy but not bad; people kept hitting our table because carts were parked in the aisle in front of us and there wasn't much room for getting around without bumping into something.
Overall it was a good experience; we will go back and will recommend it to our friends.
Went for anniversary. Had a great dinner b
This is a steak house, don't go unless you want a great steak. They do not cater to veterinarians. We had sides and one steak done to perfection.
Birthday for our friend
We have visited Pittsburgh Blue many times with varying experiences on the service but usually very consistent food. We had a party of eight at 8pm on a Friday night. We were greeted promptly but that was the last prompt attention we got the rest of the night despite our server indicating two of them would be waiting on us. They were at the tail end of the rush when we sat down and had only two other tables in the dining room when we left but it did not improve over time. We waited over 15 minutes to have someone take our drink order and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Our meal came in reasonable time however I suspect the cook who prepared our steaks forgot he had already salted them. One of the guests ordered the $65 Waygu beef steak - medium rare. It was too salty to eat. They promptly took it back. Others decided to eat theirs as is but agreed they had been over-salted, even those of us who enjoy our salt. Thirty minutes later the rest of the table was done eating and she still did not have her steak. When it finally arrived and all her sides were long past cold , the steak was black on the outside and totally raw on the inside. She declined to eat it so they took it back and of course took it off her bill. No other offer of consideration. What was expected to be a highlight of our gal’s weekend turned out to be an expensive disappointment. We’ll have to find another option for our next celebratory dinner.
Steak way undercooked so I sent it back. 20 minutes later when it finally came out everyone was done eating so I just told him to put it in a to go bag. Seems like it should have been comped. $400 for 4 people - no apps, liquor or dessert. Not worth the price. Won’t be back.
Had a reservation and they sat us in the club room by the servers station, poor table, servers actually bumper into the back of my on a couple occasions. I would think with a reservation you would get better seating.
We will not be back to the Maple Grove Pittsburg Blue
Sean was awesome!
He advised us correctly to order the best amount to order.
He was very personable and we had a wonderful experience!
The lamb chops and my husband’s steak was prepared perfectly!
The food was great as is always true at Pittsburgh Blue. Also, our server, Shannon was good. However, the staff began clearing our table before we were done eating. This is simply unacceptable!
I have been to Pittsburgh Blue dozens of times and have never experienced this before. Our server told us that this is the way they are trained by management. I hope I misunderstood, because if it ever happens again, that will be the last time I ever go to Pittsburgh Blue.
I am still angry after a few days of re-thinking it. Simply unacceptable!
Having dined here a number of times, it was nice to find it a little quieter than usual.
Aside from an improperly cooked steak, which was taken care of promptly, it was another good experience.
Amazing service and food. Lighting over tables was intense for evening.
Reservation notes for special occasion was not noted but otherwise it was fantastic.
I found the food and the service to be outstanding as usual.
The only ding is the fact we were seated in a booth next to the kitchen. Not the best of seating considering we had reservations and we passed a booth away from the kitchen as we were seated.
The food itself is good, however having to pay separately for each side is crazy given the prices for the main entrees! I can make comparable steaks at home for a fraction of the price! There were three of us for dinner with no add-ons and the cost of our meal was almost $300!
Excellent brunch spot, fantastic food even better service.
Food was good my steak was medium rare, but I asked for medium.
We had a wait so we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks Alicia was our bartender not sure how you spell her name she was amazing very helpful very friendly when we got sat down at a table our first server sucked so they found us a new one her name is Sarah she was amazing make sure she explained everything to us answered any questions very good with recommendations she had tended the tables enough but not overwhelming but made sure we were never without anything the manager who took care of us was awesome because of these two ladies and the manager I will definitely be back it was not too loud in here which was nice food was amazing definitely recommend this place
Prime rib was delivered table side raw-rare...Ordered medium. General Manager noticed and took care of asap....Great service from him and our server....
Our server, Riley, was fantastic.
He had great energy and a sense of humor. He answered our questions, made suggestions, and kept our water and wine glasses full.
We all felt very "taken-care-of".
He truly added to the enjoyment of our meal.
You get what you pay for. Everything is top notch and that includes the price. I would recommend to friends for special occasions.
Great place for a special occasion dinner, on the pricier side, but everything was amazing, and the service was impeccable.
