Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with large umbrellas and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.
Note: Valet service is operated by an independent company for the "Waterfront Clematis" building complex

Excellent as always
Delicious...real "French bistro", just like if you were there!
My wife and I had a nice date night here and were blown away by the quality of the food. Service was good, drinks tasty, and atmosphere beautiful. Can't wait for our next time!
Food was delicious. Excellent service!
Always a great meal at Pistache. Sat outside on a beautiful night. Our server Kate was great. Bronzino was delicious
Great food and service in a nice Parisian style atmosphere.
Menu has not chnaged for 3 years at least, it is time to improve!!!
Second visit to Pistache. The restaurant is charming and the food is sensational. Fabulous and fresh Autumn Squash salad, an unusual offering for South Florida. Delectable chicken paillard, reasonable prices. Regrettably we had a disengaged server who did inform us of specials or check on our dining experience.
Everything was EXCELLENT........ Food and service!!!!!
Had vegetarian sandwich- delicious! Also ordered steak au poivre- delicious! Very nice place to dine, will be back for sure.
Pistache is understandably a favorite for locals due to the excellent food and consistent quality, service and welcoming Ambiance. Always a great choice for any occasion and the closest in South Florida for the feel of a real French bistro.
Always perfect here!!! A must do!
Service was great. Food was good, however, not fantastic. Would try other options before returning.
Overall very good
The steak au poivre was outstanding. The service good and a wonderful setting
We really like this restaurant but 2 of our party of 5 had the mussels and both people, unrelated, reported they felt ill later in the evening.... Who knows, might just have been a coincidence but it was suspicious. Coq au Vin and Steak au poivre were excellent. Maybe it’s just better to stay away from seafood on a Sunday night....
I want to start off by saying the FOOD has always been worth going to Pistache for. We have never been diappointed. This review is addressing the staff present not past(who are well missed). Once again recently we have been to Pistache. Again, we sat anywhere between 5-10 mins waiting for a server. Nov 25 we came in with reservations. We were seated by the host, present and past hosts have been very professional and welcoming, and then waited 5-10 mins for service. There was a server, women blonde long hair big black glasses, that walked by us many times not acknowledging us but noticeably could see we had nothing on our table( water bread ect..). We had to call out to her to get her attention, she also had tables beside, behind and across from us, she appeared reluctantly to get our server. Once our server did come, he apologized and service by him was great. We use to frequent Pistache often. In the past the staff was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional which kept us coming back and recommending Pistache, the present wait staff has been very aloof. It is hard at this moment to say when we will return or if we should recommend Pistache to friends. The food, however, is still to notch!
Food was delirious, well prepared and served hot. One of the best meals I’ve had in Palm beach and a great value at any price!
Awesome! What else can I say?!
Gus, our waiter was fantastic! He is an asset to any restaurant!
The restaurant is always welcoming and impeccable.
We ate outside on the porch- noise wasn't a problem however the homeless that congregate down the street were disturbing.
Alek, the server was very good but at times made you feel rushed. I asked if they needed this table.
The food was up and down. The sweetbread appetizer was excellent- I could have made that a meal!
The turkey dinner was terrible- it was not really hot to begin with, but the turkey was a little tough, the stuffing was hard, brussel sprouts were drowned out with a dark sauce and many bits of bacon or pancetta and this orange puree did not do any justice to the plate.
The dessert, pumpkin pie, was plain, thin and tasteless. My dining partner, who had the Beef Stew, found it unappealing, very dark and colorless- just a bowl of meat in dark brown sauce. She loved the mousse however.
It was not worth $70.00 by any means- $50 tops. I know better to go out and eat on holidays as everything is escalated in price- next year I will cook the holiday meal!!
I walked out of there spending almost 290.00 with bar, tax and gratuity and for that amount of money, the dinner should have been perfect!
Birthday Very pleasant staff
I'm always looking for strong local restaurants with character and unique food. The Bistro scores on both counts. Food portions aren't large, but the quality and flavor make this a memorable meal ... perfect for a special occasion. I will return and look forward to trying their specials.
Their Frence cuisines are on target. Stick with the French dis by es.
It was our anniversary, so we were looking forward to a nice quiet night, romantic food, French experience... to our surprise, it was Brazilian night. So we got loud music, Brazilian dancers in their thongs and a conga line going around the whole place...
Food and service were good, but the experience wasn’t up to par.
Great ambiance, service, food, entertainment. Had a fabulous time!
We spent a most delightful and fun evening dining at Pistache! Our dinners were outstanding...well prepared , perfectly ! Service was outstanding. Our server , Ali was so helpful, professional and personable.
We always have a perfect dining experience at Pistache.
Always great brunch food on the weekends. Authentic.
Many items of the menu were soldout. So basically we had to eat tuna or steak.
Starter with a beef tartar followed by a delicious salmon It has a pretty good wine list and the desert was exceptional for a crepe Suzette. a real enjoyment and had a pleasant evening. There is public and valet parking nearby. We were not rushed to finish our meal.
we will be coming back for sure as the new fall menu begins Nov 18
The food was great as usual. The onion soup was tasty and not too salty. The filet was tender and their french fries cooked perfectly. We also had the salmon which was as equally good. My only complaint was that the waiter offered me a 2nd glass of wine and I had to remind him twice before I received it. I was almost done with my meal when it finally arrived and the restaurant was not overly busy...
Unfortunately there was a kitchen problem and we never got our main course. We had a show to see so had to leave. Our meal was comped so management did the correct thing.
This has been my third visit to this restaurant. Pistache has a very typical French Bistro menu and the food is quite serviceable. The ambience is very French and the service is quite good. Their French Onion Soup is excellent.
Great sitting outdoors food wonderful as always
Pistache is a really lovely French Bistro in a bustling part of West Palm Beach. The mussels are amazing and the Brussels stout special was really great! It is a lovely place.
Food and service were excellent. The restaurant was not terribly busy, so we enjoyed the relative quiet, too.
Always one of our favorites! Great staff, delicious food, accommodating, and fun place to people watch!
