Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

Disappointed our server wasn’t wearing a mask and she had a cough… will not be back …
VERY Disappointing….sat down and waiter never asked us if we wanted a cocktail. We ordered zucchini blossoms and escargot. Escargot was pretty good but zucchini blossoms were filled with very watery ricotta…not good. Next came our entree…Steak frites order medium rare but we got medium…We still have not said anything about our disappointment, but when my Special of the Day Monk Fish was put down in front of me it was about a 3 oz piece of fish with a huge back bone still attached. There were literally 2 bites on either side of the bone. I told the waiter that this was unacceptable and he sent over the hostess who said, “I will mention it to the chef…ha! Such a way to handle an issue. We were rushed through our meal and then the dirty plates were left for a good 15 minutes. Never did anyone come over and say we are sorry for your being unhappy or anything. No offer of dessert or coffee to make it up to us. Nothing. A HUGE disappointment and I am writing this so others see it and dine elsewhere
Food is consistently excellent. JP has been our waiter on several occasions and made our experience outstanding.
Had heard great things about this restaurant, have been a couple other times. Not sure it really lives up the hype. Did the Flavors Palm Beach menu - there were many substitutions versus what was shown online. My meal was fine - tried monkfish for the first time. Dessert was by far the best part of the meal. Service was fantastic, but inside was incredibly dark and a nearby table was incredibly raucous.
Our go to place . Special occasions or whenever . Food and service always great .
Delicious French food in very nice atmosphere.
Be aware they automatically add a 20% tip so don't tip twice.
The foods was good, lack of creativity with presentation, (just a sandwich in a plate with a bunch of fries) the wait time was long. The restaurant was almost empty.
We went down to our "city" to try Pistache's Flavor of Palm Beach menu. The food and service were very good and the atmosphere lovely. Alas, I will need to return as I did not know that the Flavor of Palm Beach menu changes there every two days. I was dying to try their cassoulet but it was rotated out! I will check next time....
Muscles filled with sand. This is high end? Not even low end.
The worst overall experience in 4 nights of dining out in Palm Beach. Website has incorrect hours & menus posted.
Service was slow and with no care or personality. Dodd was average, so not bad. But the Duck was tuff & under seasoned. Food came out & less than 10 minutes later they turned all the lights 100% up & turned off the music.
And turned on a loud television with sports that the staff wanted to hear& listen to apparently.
This is completely unacceptable for a Restaurant charging what they do. Will definitely never be back.
We have always had a pleasant experience at Pistache French Bistro. A good start is the mussels molinaire as the broth is the best around. Be sure to get yourself a side order of the pomme frites as they are the crispiest ever made, served on request with dijon mustard. The 3-course price fixed menu was delicious, starting with the country pate' platter. Likewise, the shrimp provencial over linguini was excellent. A gateau of pistachio and berries was a great finish to the meal. WIne selection is good, as well as Eva, our server who made the evening perfect. Ambience is tres' magnifique! This is probably our favorite restaurant in the area.
Love the Saturday brunch rose special!! Nearly All-Day Rose!!
The food was very good. We would recommend the french onion soup, smoked salmon platter, and duck breast.
My very first introduction to French cuisine and I couldn’t have picked a better place to have this experience.
As always, Pistache was wonderful in every respect. Service was exceptional this time, as we celebrated our anniversary. Everyone was very accommodating and provided premium service, neither hovering over us or ignoring us completely… Just the right amount for our Sunday brunch. The wine list is medium sized and comprehensive. We can’t resist the perfect skinny fries. We adore the muscles, the salmon tar-tar and the Croque Madame. If you are indecisive about whether or not you should try Pistache, do yourself and your dining mates a favor and go immediately if not sooner.
Great food always. Upscale French bistro. Great location
Enjoyed very much.
Spectacular chickpea/couscous special soup and delicious authentic Niçoise salad. Service was friendly and attentive.
Though we usually dine indoors, Friday evening we dined on the outdoor terrace. A lovely way to enjoy a pleasant evening outdoors. As expected, the food was delicious, the ambience most pleasant, and the service (by Eva) outstanding. We always look forward to dining at Pistache.
The only reason the restaurant isn’t getting five deserved stars is because each table had real oil fed candles, which emitted a gas like odor because of the constant ( needed) ceiling fans. I would suggest real candles, or battery candles. I loved the candles, but not the persistent smell. That being said, we loved it from start to finish, especially our romantic corner table!!! Your food was delicious and the service- impeccable and very friendly!
Our server, JP, was amazing as he always is. Thank you Christian for accommodating us as we we’re all little late for our reservation 😊
A friend and I were celebrating both of us recently getting engaged and wanted to go somewhere special. We chose Pistache and made a note in our reservation.
The server was nice and accommodating to our NA drink selection, but we were very disappointed that the host or server did not even mention a congrats.
What’s the point of having a note section in a reservation if it serves no purpose. Getting engaged to be married is a wonderful and exciting time in ones life and wants to celebrate and tell everyone. We weren’t expecting a red carpet or a complimentary dessert, simply a word from someone. It blew the wind out of our sails.
The food was really good. We had different things and everything was good. I had the onion soup and the cheese board. Amazing. The Croque Madame is good too and so is the Hamburger. Blood Mary super. Great place for a Sunday brunch.
We sat outside which was lovely even in the summer heat as they have fans and it’s covered. However, not sure this brunch is worth all the praise. Food wasn’t bad but just mediocre. Service was ok as the server kept forgetting things but that could also be because of lack of hired help these days. Left something to be desired.
It was perfect. Every thing was wonderful. Great for any occasion. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. We’ll be back soon.
My wife and I have enjoyed coming to Pistache for many years. We can always count on excellent food & service. I don’t think we’ve ever been disappointed, except when we have to wait. Make reservations just in case!
Great food and wonderful service
Christian, the manager of the restaurant always walks the restaurant to ensure the meal is up to his standards. We always are treated so well. Thank you for making our 4 year anniversary so special!
The food was overall good but one in our party asked for the mussels to be made without butter due to a dairy allergy and the result of leaving out the butter was a disappointingly unappetizing preparation that looked like the muscles were in dirty dishwater. Others in the party had the steak tartare, grilled salmon, and beef bourguignon which were all good.
The service was a bit lacking in that we asked multiple times for salt and pepper once when our pre-dinner salad was served then later with the entrees were served and we had to flag down another server to get it. Additionally, we were never asked how the food tasted after it was delivered. I must say however, that the food was presented very nicely by the "food runner" that brought the food to the table. For Palm Beaches pricey restaurants staff should be better trained as professional service really lacks in this town even though we pay NYC prices.
Exquisite Menu choices and seating on the front porch was “ merveilleux” ! My only concern here is the swordfish was served moderately warm and not hot ! You never are served warm fish in France it is served much hotter! Good fun and nice employees!
Fantastic. 90th Birthday Celebration. Waiter was superb and brought out desert without being reminded, candle and all.
Everything was wonderful. But, we feel that it’s a sign of disrespect to the patrons that some servers didn’t wear a mask when approaching the table
Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere which made a great evening
New chief. He’s trying to make his mark but he dropped a number of the standards; not happy.
One waiter for the deck. I was pouring wine for the tables around me bc he wasn’t around!
Sad; hopefully they’ll get their act together
This is an outstanding restaurant. They provide free valet parking. We were seated on time. The staff was friendly, and the service was outstanding. It is a lovely bistro setting. They feature many interesting wines. All of our dishes were delicious and presented in an appealing way. We cannot wait to return!!!
Excellent food and service. Pricey restaurant for West Palm Beach, but top notch.
Fabulous as always with wonderful desserts!
The food was amazing!!
Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Tasty food. The waffles are deliciously fluffy. The Lavender Martini comes life in your mouth. The bread was a tad bit hard. Overall nice experience.
