Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.

This is our fourth visit this season. We brought friends who also loved it as much as we do!
They had filet mignon au poivre and loved it. Our other friend also had a strip steak and enjoyed every bite.
As on the previous trips, we enjoyed our entrees and the wine. Lovely!
Nice, all around. Very different to have a conversation, we were a fairly large table though. (6)
First, the valet parking deal was superb as I always worry about parking on Clematis Street. Our server Alexa was great, she played music for us, and turned on the livingroom light as well..(joke)
Food was good. Bloody Mary's were good too. A little pricey, but that is what it is for brunch on Saturday afternoon on Clematis Street. Second time we went there, first time, maybe three years ago, we just fell into it. But I remembered it as being nice, so we went there again on Saturday afternoon.
Always a great meal at Pistache. Had the smoked salmon appetizer, and the chicken and waffles. Best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The way they fried the chicken. Soooo good. Not breaded, just perfect crisp skin. We had a pitcher of mimosas. Really wanted to try the Bellini but they were out of nectar. We sat outside and it was perfect weather and live music playing during the WPB Green Market. Great place to do lunch and visit Green Market. Added plus is you can valet for up to two hours and have the restaurant stamp your ticket. We ended up staying longer and got charged $6 valet even with the stamp. Great experience. Always great food and service!
Half the plates we ordered were real good. The other half not so. This was our second time. Felt the same way the first time. Don’t know if I’ll go back
It was an entertaining dinner especially with the table next to us.
Group of friends. Enjoyed dinner. Waitperson was great.. patient and helpful.
Service was poor at the bar and table. Very noisy not a special meal as expected.
This was our first experience with the new menu and we were a bit disappointed. The octopus appetizer is no longer available and it appears as though items were removed. We use to enjoy the Mahi Mahi and that is no longer there. We had the muscles as an appetizer and it was very good. The Chilean Seabass was cooked to perfection and it was good. The swordfish was a bit disappointing in taste. The Wine List is somewhat extensive but the pricing has gone up dramatically from what it was. As far as dessert goes, the Ferrier Roche Chocolate Mousse was okay and the Lemon Meringue Desert as also disappointing. The Bread Pudding that we enjoyed is also no longer on the menu.
This was our second visit to Pistache and it was delightful! The swordfish over cauliflower risotto was amazing. My husband had the salmon over ratatouille and he raved about it. My sister order croque madame and was in heaven. We shared a lemon tart - unbelievable!
The service was impeccable and the experience outstanding.
We will be back!
This was our first time in the newly established Bistro P area of the bar. It's a very smart addition to this excellent restaurant. There is a menu specifically for this area which contains both some items from the main menu and some specifically added for the Bistro P area. The combination is varied, enticing and thoughtfully put together.
The service too low. I had to wait long time for a beer
At the end...my wife said:"it's not possible!!!" the two desserts she was after were sold out....
Sorry, not for me anymore
Really bad waiter - otherwise good experience. But the waiter can make or break the experience. It was amazingly bad
Best Steak Au Poivre anywhere! French onion soup to die for and Creme Brulee is perfect.
Pistache is a favorite of ours and we enjoy both the food and the ambiance of this lovely French restaurant so close to the theatre and the waterfront! Tonight we shared a fab buffalo mozarella and organic colored tomato and greens salad and loved it. Both my Chilean sea bass and vegetables entree and my husband's boeuf bourgignon (short ribs) were outstanding. In the past , have loved their swordfish with risotto and vegetables and also enjoy their coq au vin entree and their wonderful soups. It's a happening place with a patio overlooking the park near the waterfront. Always treated well!
A great bistro with a rather expensive menu. The food and service was exceptional. It is a go to place for any special occasion.
Very pleasant experience. Food was very good, service was excellent, the room was full but still not too noisy, so acoustics are good. Not cheap, but worth the price.
We sat outside which was fine however, our table was close to the entryway. Your customers insisted on walking by our table to leave the restaurant so I was hit with bags and bodies. This spoiled our lunch. We tried to move to another table but was told you needed it for a 6 top. I would suggest adding a chair to the end of this particular table to hinder customers taking the shortcut.
Food was Delicious. Compliments to the chef. Service could be better.
We enjoyed the patio table. Food was very good, however a little pricy. The wine list was exceptional. Gratuities should be left at the discretion of the guests rather than being at a fixed of 20%.
Hoping just a vday busy issue , but my duck was cold and then over cooked on refire ... Was sad
Waited for my table for 45 mins, Had to send the duck back (overly well done), crazy slow, and a mandatory 20% tip after a $200 bottle of wine. I live a block away and have heard about this.
Valentines Day...perfect setting and you pay a high price for a special event.
Love this place. It is our go to for special occasions with friends.
Valentine Day special,, overpriced, 20% gratuity included, food was just OK, nothing special for the occasion or to justify the price.
Ordered steak rare, and it came out medium-medium rare. Bread is good. Salmon tartare is excellent. Reese’s creme puff wasn’t fit for my dog.
Good food but very slow and inattentive service.
If you want an authentic French Bistro experience, Pistache is the place! From the moules to the
steak tartare, and the ambience, you really feel like in Paris... with the sea!
Appetizers and main courses were excellent. Desserts not inspired. Good service. Nice bistro ambiance. A bit too noisy.
While the food was excellent, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter was aloof and non attentive. He spilled a cocktail on one member of our party, did not offer additional napkins to clean the spill and did not offer a complementary drink to make up for the inconvenience and discomfort. In addition, the wait staff failed to replace dirty utensils with clean ones between courses. They simply took the dirty utensils off of each guests plate and placed them back on the table.
Good options on their menu.
Nice seating out side food was excellent but after entree served waitress did not check on table to see if everything was good came after plates were cleared for dessert
Outstanding food and service. Everything was amazing!
Good food and ambiance over all.
First time. Great food. Leisurely meal. Theresa did a wonderful job.
My wife had a burger with four grad that she
Always a pleasure to dine here.
Delicious food with an authentic French bistro feel
Love this restaurant. So Parisian in feeling. Great food and delicious desserts. Always happy here, celebrating life with friends.
