Dining & Events
From our famous Sunday breakfast buffet, to our pub and dinner menus, and the special events we host, Pine Crest Inn provides delicious food in a unique atmosphere. Mr. B's Pub consistently ranks as one of golf's best 19th holes. It's a perfect blend between locals and hotel guests. Located just off the lobby, this watering hole is a local favorite and a must-see for all who visit the Sandhills region of North Carolina. The memorabilia alone in the bar and lobby are worth a stop-in! And of course, the fireplace chipping board is something everyone should experience - a Pine Crest Inn tradition. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch and were very impressed with the COVID protocols in place for the brunch. Delicious food and attentive service!

I booked on open table for breakfast at 10:00am. We arrived at the restaurant a little early Luckily we did because they close for breakfast at 10:00. They do not take reservations on Saturday. Open Table or the restaurant doesn’t know what the other is doing. Food and service was excellent.

Service was a bit slow and impersonal but not to the point of annoyance nor did it detract from the meal. Charming old building

Great corned beef and cabbage meal for St. Patrick's Day. Delicious sundae and Irish coffee for dessert. Heather did a great job taking care of us.

We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday evening. For most of the time we were dining, we were the only customers. I’m sure this was influenced by the current Coronavirus panic, but suspect it was also because word has gotten around about a drop off in the dining experience here. There were 4 of us. Two of us got steaks. It appears they were cooked with the sous vide method - which results in a very bland taste. Mine was also slightly undercooked. A companion got the traditional pork chop and thought it was good. They have eliminated the traditional “relish tray” which was greatly missed by our party. Service was excellent — but then again our server only had one table to take care of.

We have dined here many times, but was disappointed all around this time. Instead of excellent ratings in all areas, could only rate this average experience.

From the moment you walk through the door you feel the warmth and charm of days in history. As you are seated at an elegantly set table you feel special yet very comfortable. From omelets made with your favorite ingredients to the fluffy waffles and tasty muffins, I highly recommend this Sunday morning buffet for everyone to enjoy.

First time here. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Decent prices. The bar area is lovely. Service was great. Bonnie was our server, she was very friendly and pleasant. Try the short ribs, so good.

Pinecrest Inn is a very quaint place to visit with loads of golf history and once owned by Donald Ross. The dining room has been refurbished and is bright, white and clean. The prime rib was good and roasted to our liking. Service was excellent -- we were waited on immediately and greeted with a very nice waitress.

We were very disappointed. We had high expectations from the online reviews, where this was supposed to be a great 'locals' restaurant. The restaurant itself had great curb appeal, and the bar was fun to sit at before being seated at our table. But the hostess was rude to my husband when we arrived, our waiter was unprofessional and rushed us to place our order, my filet was so undercooked it arrived purple, and the mashed potatoes that were served with it tasted like they were 'instant'. We would definitely not return.

Wonderful Holiday setting in a Historic Southern Inn. Would have given the experience a 5 Star rating however, because of their popularity the crowd overwhelmed the staff by days end and the perfect ambiance faded with the rush to keep up. Note to self - enjoy the Pine Crest Inn early on Holidays when the atmosphere is compatible with the old Inn and the pace is Southernmost.

Great staple restaurant, don’t expect inventive or cutting edge. I’d bet menu hasn’t changed in 15years. Service very good and food comes out prompt and correct.

Very disappointed that you took away relish tray before dinner. Some of our meals were good but 2 were not. Short ribs over cooked and tough
