We enjoyed our date night there as locals. It was all good but the music was too loud. Just too loud. He was very good. Did a great job performing. Just was too loud for an otherwise very nice dinner venue. When I’m out for dinner conversation is important. That was not able to happen with the live music intruding at that level. Background? Ok. In my face constantly? Not good. No shade on the gent performing. Just too loud.

Our server did all he could. The problem was with the kitchen. It took a very long time g time for the food to be served. One of our table was probably 3-5 minutes after the rest of us. When i paid the bill I asked our server if there was a problem in the kitchen. He explained it was the first day of a new menu and the kitchen was supporting two separate restaurants to see how it would go. It isn’t working! Our server said he would pass it on to the manager. I reassured the server it was nothing he did wrong.

Wonderfully convenient and located at our hotel resort. The short rib was really tasty, the drinks smooth, and service wonderful. They had a love show with a hula dancer too!

We opted to stay at the resort for dinner instead of venturing out. We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at Piko at The Outrigger in Kona HI. The service from our server Marie was excellent. The food was very good and nicely presented. The ahi and the fish collar appetizers were great. Everyone enjoyed their main course as well as dessert. I would highly recommend dining at Piko.

The check in process was alittle chaotic seemingly due to short staffing which I can empathize with. Once we got seated our server was great from beginning to end. She was amazing. However for 85 $ per person the quality of food and selection was not up to par. It was definitely not worth what we payed for. Very limited food selections and what was there was of at mediocre quality at best, and most being not good.
