Pig’s Ear American Bistro
Portabella Mushroom Fries
Crispy panko bread crust, pilsner batter, mustard seed aioli, parmesan cheese
Good selections but quality of the steaks were not as expected based upon the price.
Great Gluten Free Options
Wonderful staff and will alway our go to for dinner when family and friends are in town. Never disappoints!
Everything was outstanding ‼️Delicious meal from entree to dessert ❤️ Great service too‼️
Yummy and fun atmosphere during Halloween. Great service, too!
Thank you. Salmon was cooked perfectly for us. Cap steak also was cooked to our requested level perfectly!!
First time, a little loud sometimes. Food was very good. Nice service, quick on the food delivery to our table. Will definitely return.
The food and service was excellent. The only downside for us was that it was really noisy so it was hard to have a conversation with our friends. We even sat in a corner area. I would recommend this restaurant.
They did not give me my 100 open table points!
Food was flavorful- good portions! So fresh and a perfect stop while visiting Zion. Thank you.
Restaurant was packed. We found the place through Yelp and made a reservation on OpenTable (making a reservation is advised to secure a spot). Food was fantastic and the service is commendable. Would recommend coming here if you are staying nearby especially after a long hike at Zion National Park. I ordered the pork chop while my wife ordered the BBQ ribs both tasted good.
Great service , great food , portobello mushrooms excellent
I am a fan! Seriously, I've never had a bad meal here. The only caveat is they downgraded their wine list. And the music and noise level are too high to have a conversation.
The food is always excellent (better than most any top-rated restaurants in St. George. So, I drive 20 min to Pig's Ears).
Tried Grilled Prawns (delicious and amazing value!) and NY Steak this time. Both were excellent!
Great food and service but very noisy. Big room with nothing to absorb the sound. Hard to have a conversation.
Overall 5 stars as the food is amazing! Service needs fine tuning, good cocktails, limited wine list, and a little noisy…might be the acoustics. Will definitely return when we’re in Southern Utah.
Great meal, everything was excellent.
Always a great experience at Pig’s Ear Bistro
Amazing food, ambiance, staff and overall experience. Will always come back to the restaurant.
We had both meal and dessert both were excellent. We will return to try additional items.
Need some sound deadening panels in the ceiling. Food was delicious. Service was excellent.
Super fresh yummy food! Five out of five meals were simply delicious!
Loved our waitress! The service was outstanding. The food was delicious.
Wonderful as usual and wonderful service. Has a great vibe
Can’t say enough about Pig’s Ear, this is truly my New Favorite for dining in the Washington/Hurricane/Saint George area. You are supporting Local Owners who are usually there working away, including slaving over the grill and approving each plate as it heads out to your Table. I Love their Steaks, Love their Desserts too! I hate Bread Pudding but LOVE theirs! Love when they do a Peach, or Last Night Rhubarb Crumble. I recommend you make reservations as they can get busy, and I recommend you come hungry. If you don’t try Pigs Ear you are missing out!
Loved our server. She was great!
We came here on our way to see a show in Hurricane. Food was soooo delicious! Very filling and the flavor was outstanding. Service was great!
Amazing! The food quality was outstanding! We hit it up twice while we were visiting the area. It has great healthy choices along with delicious burger and fries (the mushroom fries appetizer was incredible)! Really great service as well!
I ordered the burger but I can’t have a bun and asked for no bacon, I got the $14 brunch burger, but she added bacon and charged me extra for it and charged me $5 extra for the egg and the hollandaise sauce which already came with it. Basically I paid $22 for a $14 burger when I took things off not added. When I asked her about it she said that’s “how we do it”. I will never go again. We had a party of multiple people as well and no one cared for their food and said they will also never go back mostly because of the overcharge they wouldn’t do anything about.
This experience ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion before the start of a cancer treatment.
We were visiting from out of town, enjoying Zion National Park. Had an absolutely delightful meal at Pigs Ear. Tess was hilarious and attentive and made our dinner a special event. We had a delicious melon/prosciutto/arugula/basil salad and a yummy strawberry rhubarb crisp that were specials, as well as a couple of apps and 5 entrees from the regular menu, and ALL were fabulous. By far the best meal of this vacation. Highly recommend!!
Amazing food!!!!! Portobello Fries and the garlic prawns were amazing!!!
Great food! Fresh, inspired, and good-for-you ingredients. Staff was friendly and loved our pup, Chance.
Food was great as was the service. Cocktails were so so. Will definitely return however.
Cajun shrimp appetizer and baby back ribs are fantastic, the latter being the best I have ever had! Rushed service where they brought the main dishes while we were still eating our apps, is only reason for less than 5 star rating. Otherwise, great!
Food was fantastic!!
Stopped here on vacation for our son’s birthday. The service was absolutely top notch and the food was just as good! Every single person (6 of us) had an amazing meal! Advice… if you order the prawns app, which you should, order extra bread… so good!!!
Our server Jeanie was AMAZING! She anticipated our every want, water, timing to ask if we needed anything, recommendations and so personable. The food was very delicious (preferred ribs and salmon) both meals were so good. Made a new fan out bread pudding desert. Highly recommend! Thank you for such a great meal
Best restaurant around the Zion National park area. There’s no close 2nd.
Service: 5 stars, Tess was a complete rockstar, treating us like royalty and giving us spectacular recommendations.
Drinks: strong with great presentation.
Appetizer: Organic Baby Greens. The combination of pears, toasted pecans, crumbled Gorgonzola and the maple cider vinaigrette created an explosion of flavors in our palates.
Entree: The Pig’s Ribs. Succulent fall of the bone tender meat covered in this out of this world sweet and spicy maple chili glaze that put my taste buds in flavor-town heaven. It came with probable the best Mac and cheese we’ve ever tried in our lives. It was that good. Thx Tess for forbidding me to substitute it for fries.
Entree: Steak tacos. Even though they appear on the appetizer menu our server told us that they’re big enough that you can order it as a main entrée (4 to an order).Tender, juicy, perfectly cooked steak on corn tortilla with a delicious chimichurri sauce on top.
Dessert: Bread Pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Again, another great recommendation from Tess. Small piece of sweet heaven covered with creme anglaise and a brandy caramel sauce. Couldn’t have asked for more “happy ending”
Had the pleasure to meet the chef/owner Peter Dominguez after our dinner. We felt obligated to give all this positive feedback we had inside of us. Could not ask for a nicer and more down to earth man. Congrats dude, you’re a Superstar Chef.
Do yourself a favor and get your butt to Pigs Ear American Bistro. It’s 20-25 mins from Zion National Park in Hurrricane,Utah. You won’t regret it.
This jewel was very close to our rental property. Our server, Caden was excellent and took great care of us. The food was fresh and very imaginative. I had Rigatoni Bolognese. Others had the pork chop, ribs and chicken Parmesan cutlets. All were excellent. Very good wine list. Great price near Zion.
I have to say, Pigs Ear has become my Favorite for dining in Southern Utah. Love the fact that we are supporting Local Dining and not some Corporate Chain Monstrosity.
The Owner is cooking/serving it up himself while seeing to the presentation and taste of every dish. The Dedication, Love and care, is obvious when you take your first bite! One of my favorites are the Scalloped potatoes that accompany many of the dishes, and If they don’t, we ask for them anyway! And the Bread Pudding and Creme Brûlée are worth leaving some room for dessert - and I don’t even like bread pudding!
Come to the Pig’s Ear and you won’t be disappointed, we never have been.
Tristin, Darryl, Tess, and Caden were awesome ! Great staff, very efficient. Food was delicious !!!
