   Great find in a relatively small but growing town. High quality food, put together by apparently highly trained chefs and food professionals. We will definitely be returning to this place. The staff was just as great as the food, very friendly ad personable.

   Food was not bad. Try the portobello appetizer and the steak tacos. We also didn’t like how loud the music was. And they are very strict about the UT alcohol rules - one single shot per drink and they have to take away the one glass before you can order another. They wouldn’t even let my boyfriend pour his old ice into the new glass. We felt bad for our server having to explain all that. But if you order wine, you can order a full bottle…doesn’t make sense. Maybe the thing to do is order take out and skip the restaurant.

   We enjoyed our dining experience this past weekend at the Pig's Ear. The place was very busy what with graduations and Ironman in town, but we had a reservation and were seated shortly after arrival. The salad we had was exceptional with pears and a maple vinaigrette. Our entrees were the salmon and a steak with gorgonzola cheese. The wine list was decent; this is our first time eating there but it certainly won't be our last.

   Brought friends there - their first time. They loved it. As did we. Not a bad experience here yet. I will note that the dining areas are EXTREMELY LOUD. I think some sound dampening in the open ceiling would do wonders!

    As always, superb food, can’t say enough about the Chef and the Kitchen Staff and our Server. The ONLY reason I don’t give a 5-Star Review is the Greeter/Host Station. This is usually staffed by a young person, or persons, that don’t seem to grasp that they are giving, and setting, the tone for the Restaurant. Giggling, chewing gum, being distracted because they are playing with their phones, really doesn’t impress me much. I understand that they are young, but if I am dropping $100+ for (2) people, I am expecting a little better decorum on their part. That is my one and only gripe, and it has happened on nearly every occasion, hence worth the mention. But you will LOVE the food - the Barbeque/Cajun Shrimp Appetizer- Wow! Ask for extra Bread Points. And what we call the Adult Macaroni & Cheese, always worth ordering extra so you have some Leftovers to take Home! And I can’t stand Bread Pudding, but I Order their Bread Pudding EVERY TIME! Incredible!

    It was expensive for the food received. The pulled pork sandwich was good but there could have been more fries. The French dip sandwich was about half the size you normally receive and it was pricey. The Au Jus for dipping was too much like gravy, too thick and not like beef broth, and had a weird taste.

    The service and food were excellent. The restaurant was busy, but our server and the kitchen were able to keep up. We enjoyed cocktails from the bar, then our salad and entrees were delicious. We had the ribs entree and tiger pawn shrimp entree.

    It’s the first place I make a reservation with when I am visiting my second home in Sandhollow. The ribs and Mac and cheese and a wedge salad at our favorite appetizer. It’s a shrimp appetizer! You won’t be disappointed!

    Absolutely fantastic food. Urban industrial vibe with an open kitchen. Not inexpensive but the service and quality of food made it a good value. The chef’s house-made key lime pie is the best we’ve ever had. We will make this a regular place to visit when we are in town.

    Pigs Ear is AMAZING! Food is INCREDIBLE. Service is fantastic and the noise level is perfect so you can have conversations without everyone hearing you but also not so loud it’s a problem. Highly recommend this place and continue to make this a routine visit every trip to the St George area. Enjoy!!

    So sad and very disappointed. Came here last year for dinner for Valentine’s Day and was the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. This time is was poor customer service, food was not great (French dip specifically) frys were great and the meat plate with jasmine rice was good. They don’t serve dinner menu at lunch (wanted the chicken cutlets and waiter said no without even asking) then didn’t even offer desert so we left. Would have had the key lime pie and a crème brûlée but they didn’t offer so their loss. Out of the non alcoholic drinks they had on menu. So so so disappointed. Will not be back for lunch, will probably give dinner a try again.

    FOOD and SERVICE were simpoy .... OUTSTANDING. A bit expensive for lunch (menu prices on-line need to be UPDATED ... we were charged MORE than indicated.) The ONLY reasons we won't return is that it was WAY TOO NOISY to enjoy a relaxing meal.

    Great food. Great service. We were seated near the exterior door near the bar. It was drafty. The bare concrete walls are probably great in a St George summer, but a little stark when it’s cold and drafty. That was the only negative. Everything else was excellent. Cap steak is a must try.

    Excellent food. Had the prawns in a wonderful Cajun sauce and the Rigatoni which was also great. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Definitely Worth the short drive from St George

    Pigs Ear is always super tasty and something that we look forward to whenever we are in town. This last visit was a little disappointing. Ordered the burger medium well…it came out raw in the middle and still red/bloody which I would have called medium rare. Despite this visit, I would still highly recommend that you make a visit to pigs ear a priority.

    Had friends in from out of town & made a reservation a week in advance for our party of 11. Our table was ready, and we were seated right away (and by “seated” I mean the hostess pointed at the table and told us to sit there.) After about 10 minutes a server came over to our table & said she wasn’t our server but would take our drink orders because our server was busy with another large party. We never did see “our” server all night, but this young woman (wish I had her name) took good care of us & was the highlight of the evening. At one point, I saw our drink order sitting at the end of the bar for 15 minutes, so I walked over & asked the bartender if it was our order could I just take it? WOW! Talk about coming unhinged! She came running around the bar & literally screamed at me that NO YOU CANT and that she was ignoring her customers to take care of us - I could have sworn we were customers too, but whatever. As far as food - those who ordered burgers & fries enjoyed their meals. Anything fancier than that was given a review of “meh.” This was my 4th & last time at Pig’s Ear. For the prices they charge I just expect better than the sub-par experience I consistently get at this restaurant.

    They put what seemed like pancake batter on my daughters ice cream sundae instead of whipped cream and the hosts were quite bad. Server was great however, just spread thin.
