Love this restaurant! The food is amazing. Took my team there for the family style set menu dinner and everything was so fantastic that I decided to go back a week later with the spouse. Discovered they had a happy hour and it's incredible with the BEST prices I've seen at restaurants. Only one issue is we booked the bar but when we arrived we asked for a table in the restaurant and was told none was available even though the restaurant was not full AT ALL. I could have cancelled and rebooked on the spot as I could see there was standard res available to make a point but didn't' want to be jerk so left it as is and went to the lounge instead. It was just weird that couldn't adjust and be more flexible when clearly there were lots of tables and none got used during our entire time. Despite this hiccup the experience was still great. So many great dishes but love the mushroom croquettes, hash browns, steak frites and the soft serve ice cream is a must have. Not big on the hot dog though - good price but it was probably average taste and not to the same level as the other dishes probably because it just tasted like a regular hot dog and not really all beef? The service is another reason to go here - very incredible both times by server(s) and the manager. Very attentive and actually were very personable! Highly recommended!

Food was fantastic and the wait staff gave great recommendations. Good place to take a client for dinner or even just go with some friends for great food and ambiance.

Love love love the aesthetic of this this location. Cabbage is to die for. We tried a couple of the happy hour menu items, ball park style hot dog (very insta worthy), hashbrowns and mushroom croquettes. Croquettes were very good and other than the cabbage were our faves of the table.

Love this spot so much! And while I'd love to see it busier for brunch (how have others not found it?!), I love the individual attention too. Haha! Downtown Calgarians and Calgarians in general, you have no idea what you are missing. Fantastic room, food, and service!

Had a few drinks and ordered almost everything from the menu during happy hour! High value. Nice vibe, ideal for having conversations. The waitress was great, very welcoming, nice, great smiles. I like the hot dog, the shrimps and the scallops! Earl Grey martini 🍸 was so delish!

Place is decent, 17th location is much better. Only one bathroom in the whole place and service was abysmal. Food was good, however not as good as 17th Ave location. The main issue we had was service. Our waiter was incredibly annoying, coming by way too often, trying to be funny (he was not) and make quirky remarks, over explaining our plates to the point we asked him to stop.
