Pig & Finch Gastropub
Our take on "Gastropub" provides you with a wide variety of options that range from straightforward pub food to elegant dishes created by Chef Joshua Minnich. Our nightly specials include neighborhood favorites like Braised Short Rib, Fried Chicken and Meatloaf ($17-$22). Signature Entreés include Skuna Bay Salmon, Pan Seared Scallops, Roasted Duck Breast and Espresso Rubbed Pork Shoulder ($24-$32).
The term "scratch" doesn't only apply to our kitchen. Our bar program includes house made syrups and infusions that we use in our Seasonal Cocktails which we update regularly. 12 taps that rotate with local and national craft beer selections. A wine list that will keep your wallet happy with 45+ wines under $50... and for special nights some $200-$300 bottles that would make any Sommelier drool.
All of this is designed, prepared and served by friendly folks that are passionate about what they do and how they do it.

Just a fantastic experience in general
Definitely go again on a special occasion.
Had the braised sandwich and tomato soup. It was delicious! Fried pickles were a bit sweet but pretty addictive.
Great outdoor seating options!
I find the staff to be extremely personable and helpful / attentive while the restaurant continues to maintain high accountability to COVID 19 distancing regulations. This has fast become one of my favorite restaurants. I especially love the outdoor dining patio (but wish they'd get electric heaters for the cooler fall months. Hint)
The pork belly was amazing. Our server, Ben, did a great job.
Dinner and drinks at the bar. Not very busy with slow non attentive service. Wife had a martini that was about 2/3 the volume of a normal martini. Waited 5 minutes after receiving meal for service and condiments.
Usually service is very good so not share why the difference this time.
Maybe it was short staff night, but the service was so slow! Lots of reminders about our drinks to have them show up. I doubt we’ll go again. Or we’ll just sit at bar.
My husband and I enjoyed a romantic dinner at Pig and Finch. It was very quiet and the food was delicious! We will definitely be going back!
Sat at the bar and received very good service. The steak was very good and cooked to perfection.
My scallops were wayyyyy over cooked and not properly cleaned. They were chewy and gritty with no caramelization. The tomato appetizer was 80% aioli. The tomato soup was great. But my martini was way under poured and the service was uncomfortably casual. I get that it’s a gastropub, but if I’m spending upwards of $75 per person on dinner I expect it to be outstanding.
Not my favorite restaurant. Pricey for what they serve.
Great food and ambiance.. we loved it
Overall wonderful, with great service and an interesting menu. However, this is the third time that we have come and no pizzas (their specialty) have been available. We ate at 6PM. They should either continue to make more pizza dough to meet demand or remove that category from their menus.
This was our first time to Pig & Finch. Best service we’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. Well done to the entire staff.
Love the staff, service, and venue. Highly recommend!
The meal I got i think it is overpriced for what I got: stake and fries. However, the stake was good.
Also, the people eating next to us were between 3 to 4 feet distance at the bar area were we got seated.
Service was great.
I will recommend the restaurant to my friends if they are willing to pay for the food.
Food was great. Service was exceptional.
Excellent all around. From the specialty cocktails to the appetizer to the main course, great flavors!
great service and atmosphere. venue was clean and social distancing guidelines in place.
Such a great place to eat outside while enjoying the weather! Perfect shade and great food with drinks! Staff was amazing!!!!
We are never disappointed in the food or service at Pig & Finch. They have wonderful food and the people are outstanding. One of our favorite places.
We went for my birthday dinner. All the food was incredible. It used to be a favorite for me, but seemed like they started over salting everything. I was very pleased to see that this was no longer the case.
I gathered with some friends to listen to the free Saturday night concert at Park Place decided to make reservations at Pig & Finch because they reserve outdoor patio seating which is awesome! The food did not disappoint! We all had great meals and it was nice listening to the music from afar because we could still chat! We will be back!
We enjoyed a late night dinner. They were accommodating with our delayed arrival because of circumstances out of our control. We do appreciate that!
We always look forward to Happy Hour and the wonderful friendly staff!
I think they turned the air conditioning off. It was very uncomfortable temperature wise.
Out server didn't wear her COVID mask properly covering her nose, but other than that, it was a great experience!
Had an amazing time, as usual. Food was on point, service also. Staff wore masks and table were set up for the social distancing guidelines. My fav spot.
I order a scotch "Oban" the bartender did not offer a drink menu nor did she mention the outrageous price. My guest and I order dinner and a couple more drinks, when I got the bill I was stunned to find out each scant one once pour was $35.00 each. First of all on the high side this 14 year old scotch goes for about $20.00 in far nicer places than this. OUTRAGEOUS! When ask the bartender about this she said "I don't set the prices", smirked and walked away. That is just a crappy way to run a restaurant and bar. So if you go to this establishment you better ask price before ordering, or better yet find a better place to go.
Rick, I am terribly sorry for the service you received. That is definitely not the standard of guest care that we hold ourselves to. I have had a conversation with all of our bar staff about how they should handle these situations in the future. What our barstaff should have told you is that our neat pours of scotch are 2 ounces, which I think aligns better with your expectations for the price. Please reach out to the restaurant and ask for Seth, I would love the opportunity to make this right.
The food is very good, the atmosphere is fun and the associates are the very best. We will be back again and again.
First time out since COVID-19 shut the world down and they really took care of us. Food was wonderful! It used to be a favorite of ours before health issues made it hard to get out years ago. This was the first place I thought of for meeting up with friends for great food. It met my expectations!
We had a wonderful dinner at Pig and Finch. It is a very comfortable restaurant and the staff is great! I ordered the Wagyu burger with a side of asparagus. I did not know a burger could taste this good! The Lamb loin with house made lamb sausage was suggested to the 2 men in our party and they were hesitant to try lamb but went for it. Chef hit it out of the park with this dish! It was delicious! I would recommend Pig and Finch to anyone. They have food for any appetite!
Impeccable service. Pleasant and friendly staff(Louise) and even the GM came out to check on the service and food quality. Great ambience and all 4 of us were extremely pleased with our meals/drinks.
Service and wagyu burger was perfect... glad to see them open
Food was good, not great. Good for the price. service was awesome!
Yummy in the tum tum
Pig and Finch is an excellent restaurant and one of our favorites in Leawood. The food is always good and the service is excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant when dining in Overland Park or Leawood.
So food was decent, service was a mess. At least three people came by at various time trying to take our order which may sound like a good thing but it was quite annoying. Especially since they kept asking if we would like an appetizer after we had ordered our entree. I specifically asked for my entree without the breadstick (I ordered the pork shoulder, and promptly received my meal with the bread stick. Or the end of the world, just annoying. They did give me some free fries so that was cool.
The pork should was ok. Tender, not a ton of flavor. The sauce it was swimming in was a weird maple flavor which I would have guessed could have been reduced, it wasn’t. Actually, it should have been called a maple flavored au jus. And there were some diced up sweet potatoes and that was pretty much it. Very underwhelming experience. There are better restaurant in the area.
The food was good and I've never been disappointed by that. They were understaffed that day, which I understand but led to slower service.
The food here is reliably delicious. The trout is always excellent. Nice atmosphere as well. An excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Portions are very generous so a lot of food if you are having lunch.
It was great! I love the shrimp and grits! We made reservations and got seated quickly, and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
