I took two ladies there for lunch, and for the price of the meal, $75 plus tip, I was really disappointed in the food, especially the portion size. I had the whitefish sandwich, no bun, and so did the other lady, these were finished in about 5 bites. One lady had a whitefish salad which was served in an appetizer sized bowl. The prices on the menu were really high for what actually was served, I thought.

So sad. Pier is under new management. Earlier this Spring they had some delicious salads. The menu is very limited and tired. In the summer it is nice to have some lighter dinner options like a good dinner salad or sandwiches. Just a good old burger is a nice staple! I ordered the caprese salad. I had to search for the one slice of regular tomato at the bottom of the salad. The quality at Pier has been highly variable over the years more bad than good. Was so hopeful for the new management but woefully disappointed. Not sure I will bother returning this summer

We had dinner at The Pier recently and had a lovely table by the windows. Our 2 servers (one was in training) were polite and professional. We've been going to The Pier for 20 years and our dinner (especially the oysters, short rib and creme brulee cheesecake) was very good. Would recommend!

Great dinner. Food was good and drinks. Loved sitting out side. Food was a little pricy. Needs to update menus on websites. Was hoping for scallops that were listed but when got there no scallops on menu.

If you order fish you will leave hungry, whether it’s whitefish or salmon. At least the salmon came with some spears of broccolini. The very small piece of whitefish was all alone on a mostly empty plate. Terrible presentation. Expensive mistake with dining that wasn’t so fine.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child, and it’s usually an amazing experience and one I really look forward to. We sat for 20 minutes before even being addressed. The bread was served cold, but the food was amazing. The manager stopped by to apologize about the very short and inexperienced staff, and offered us a discount on our bill, but that never happed. We LOVE The Pier and would hate to see it go out of business.

Disappointing menu. We were attracted by several items pictured on Open Table but they, we’re not even on the menu. Some other menu items sold out at 6:30pm on a Saturday. Quality of food preparation and presentation was below average. Staff pleasant but undertrained. On the positive side, nice view.
