A Memorable Dinner, But Dessert Missed the Mark! Piedra Santa SD offers an appealing and inviting atmosphere that's well-designed without being overdone. The tables are thoughtfully spaced, allowing for private conversations without feeling overheard. We especially appreciated the excellent service, which was attentive at just the right moments without being intrusive. The food, from taste to presentation and temperature, was overall very good. For starters, the steak tartare was a hit with our daughter, and our son thoroughly enjoyed the scallops tiradito. The oysters were meaty and perfectly complemented by their sauces, and the artisan rustic bread was delightfully warm and fluffy. Our entrees continued to impress. The Branzino was cooked perfectly, and while the Japanese Wagyu (6 oz) was very tasty, 4 oz would likely be sufficient. Both bife ancho (boneless ribeye steaks) were cooked to our requested medium-rare and were very flavorful, though one was noticeably more tender than the other. The pepper sauce we chose could have had a stronger pepper kick. Overall, all our dishes were very tasty and excellently prepared. The side dishes—mushroom and potato gratin, charred broccolini, and humita—were equally outstanding. Our only disappointment came with dessert. We tried the Napoleon and a chocolate dessert (whose name we've forgotten!), but these selections simply didn't measure up to the high quality of the starters and entrees. Their texture was on the dry side, and we felt they would have been much more enjoyable with a softer consistency. Despite the dessert hiccup, Piedra Santa SD provided a memorable dining experience for our family of four. We'd highly recommend it for its ambiance, service, and delicious savory dishes.

The hostess were very nice and set us right away. Our server greeted us and we requested tab water which took over a half an hour to get it after asking again. Food delivery was very slow and place wasn’t that busy. The streets around Ash were closed due to marathon next day and they had some cancellations. We weren’t that hungry so we had a dozen oysters, salad and pappardelle wagyu ragu. I ordered French martini and the charged was $17.00 for Absolut vodka and $3.00 for raspberry liquor, ridiculous charge. Top of that there was extra 3% of you bill for credit card fee. Well, you won’t see us again and we live 2 blocks away.

Our new neighborhood favorite. Food was amazing. The service was professional. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Excellent menu choices. Can’t miss with this one

Return guests but this visit lacked the quality we received on earlier visits. Ordered 3 medium steaks had to return to kitchen as they arrived medium well-well done, and the sliders were overcooked and under dressed. Re-ordered 2 of 3 items and though the server and manager apologized they did not offer a comp or credit a portion of the bill, yet our entire party ate separately. It was not busy, for reference.Hopefully an off night.

Venue was beautiful but everything seemed disorganized. The server forgot to ring in multiple items we had ordered and our medium rare steak came out well done. Server also seemed to not be familiar with the wine list or the menu. Food came out before drinks did. They also have this cart where they bring steak to the tables so we had to keep scooting in and out of our chairs so the carts could get by. At the end we were charged for a bottle of wine that we didn’t order. All in all not the best experience but would try again in a few months after the kinks are worked out.
