As our first night in Dublin, we wished to celebrate at a Michelin-guide restaurant. We chose Pichet due to its varied menu selection, location and previous review recommendations. We had the halibut and the lamb stew as our entrees - lovely presentation and delicious. We paired the entrees with a red Rioja. We shared an interesting delicious Ile Fontaine dessert. Our waiter was great - superb service and very friendly. A vert comfortable ambience and decor.

Ambience was nice for a date night, albeit a bit noisy with the presence of multiple tables of business people. The service was prompt and professional. We had the Halibut with a side of the Broccoli and the duck breast. The halibut sauce (I believe it was a dashi broth) was too concentrated (salty) as was the sauce for the broccoli. The duck breast was delicious and the ile flattante dessert was amazing.
