Pros
-We were seated quickly
-Appetizers and kids meals came out quickly
-Calamari was good, a little greasy, but good flavor
-The kids liked their food
-Steak was cooked to order
-Ambience was warm

Cons
- I had called earlier in the day and spoke with the hostess and requested 1 high chair. She verified my name and confirmed it would be there. Note*I did try to send include this in my Open Table reservation however I kept getting an error message that the app could not communicate with the restaurant. Upon arrival, they did not have the table set up, they simply moved the high chair from another table that had just departed, without wiping it down! I understand this may happen, but I was a little disheartened as I was standing right there to see it. Yuck!

-My husband ordered coffee for after dinner, it never arrived

-We talked to one of the servers and we told him it was our 10 year anniversary, he then started talking about how he got divorced after 20 years. Pretty morbid and not something you want to talk about at your anniversary dinner.

Our server was great and very nice to us and our daughter. We were attended to whenever we needed anything. Food was pretty good. It is definitely up there. You can tell and taste the quality of ingredients. It ain’t no Olive Garden. Lol. Filet Mignon was so delicate and high quality. The cooked it bringing out the natural flavors of the steak. Not to overwhelm it with sauce or seasoning. Tomato sauce tasted made in house fresh. Gelato was among the best we’ve had. Excellent.

We arrived at 12 noon on Valentine’s Day and the place was packed. As we sat down I thought we were destined for poor service and a good potential for disappointment in the food. Our experience was exactly the opposite. The service was excellent and the server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The dishes were served in a timely way and were fresh, well presented and delicious. I highly recommend this place!

We had another fine evening at Piatti's. We called ahead to let them know that we were running late. Despite being 90 minutes late they had the table ready for us. We had a great business dinner: delicious food, exceptional wine and excellent service. Thank you. We will be back. Also the noise level was very quiet. It was after 8 PM.

They dish had so many onions shallots it was horrible and I could only fish out the pasta. The description never listed the extra shallots/onions.

The food was fantastic and the service quick and attentive. We tried their house brand wine during happy hour and it was really delicious, considering the value. They missed checking us in for Open Table, but that was corrected. I highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to going back.

Our server was excellent. I was with a friend I had not seen in awhile and we wanted to sit and talk long after our meal ended. Luckily it was not a terribly busy night so we were able to sit at our table for hours. I really appreciated our servers attitude about our needs. She was awesome.

The prices are very high given the quantity of the food. My gnocchi dish was $17 for a small portion, then $4 more for (a small amount of) added chicken. My co-worker has a restricted diet, so they prepared her a plate of cooked vegetables. They served a very small portion -- for $16. Small dessert portions (Tiramisu, chocolate cake) were $9 each.

The noise level was so high that it was difficult for the four of us seated around a small table to hear each other.

I live near Piatti, so I am a "frequent flyer". Overall the best thing about the restaurant is the service. The food can be hit or miss, but is generally quite good. The dessert menu could use some upgrades, as the options are very standard and unexciting. But my Pappardelle with Venison Ragu was very, very good - rich without being overwhelming, and a reasonable portion that allowed me to take some home. I have not tried their pizzas as I am gluten free, but there are some very appetizing suggestions. Overall, the food is pretty good, the service is very good without overly hovering, and I would both recommend it to a friend, and eat there again.

At first hostess couldn't find my reservation, apparently she wasn't listening when asking for my last name. After two attempts she finally got it. Atmosphere is OK tends to get a little loud during lunch rush but I attribute that to people who have to yell when someone is only two feet away, typically happens in every restaurant. Food was quite good, portions just right for lunch.

We took my mother there for her 82nd birthday. We got there right as they opened at 5 PM on a Saturday. We were warmly greeted and escorted in right away. We were seated at a lovely table by extremely friendly staff. We were waited on very timely. The service was outstanding, the food was hot and the variety was outstanding. My husband and I frequent quite often and it is one of our top favorite restaurants. It was a very special evening and we knew we would not be disappointed.

We get back to Piatti every few months even though its not that close. The big guy who was managing is an awesome host and made us feel like we could snap our fingers and get anything.
Waitress was nice as well. The wine selections are good and reasonable. Ling Cod was well prepared with ample and various vegetables. The smoked salmon appetizer was ample and very tasty. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was excellent.
This is a very good restaurant and it's usually not as crowded as it would be if it were in a hot location, so we always get a seat that we like.

Our host was really good. He was very pleasant and gave my dad a free glass of champagne for his birthday. Started off just right.

The food was not hot, but I didn't want to bring it to our already difficult waiter. I have usually had great service and food at this restaurant. Not sure what happened this time.

I’ve always liked Piatti and its service and food quality is always consistent. The wine menu is also particularly good in its pricing structure. We had a moderately priced Sangiovese that was outstanding.
It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu, although one my gripe is this: The past two times I’ve visited this location, I’ve ordered the wonderful papardelle with venison rage and they’ve run out both times. This latest visit was early in the evening and so I was surprised. Either everyone in the restaurant ordered it or they under estimated demand. Once, I get it; twice I start to wonder.
In any case, that’s a small issue with an otherwise excellent group of servers and chefs.

Piatti is a pretty reliable place for consistently good food and a good ambience for business meetings. Service is professional, price is ok. Parking can be a pain if you're arriving for lunch after Noon.

We went to Piatti for their food and they did not disappoint in that category.
It was a special family gathering both times (once last week and again tonight) but it was a disappointment both times in terms of our group experience. But at least tonight we could hear ourselves speak. Last week it was impossible.
Their serving staff is friendly but uneven. This is probably because their staffing levels are too thin for the traffic they generate.
Our last visit was on a weeknight and they were packed, from the bar to every table. The wait staff was attentive and on the ball but the food took forever because there was nobody stepped in to run food out to the tables. We had 6 people but had to wait while our food got cold for the sixth plate to get to the table.
Noise on a Wednesday was deafening— no possibility fir a real group conversation.
Tonight the place was deserted at 6:00 and while the staff was nice they were obviously the rookie or third string team.
We were left alone, no drinks were offered. No specials were described. We had to ask others “to get our waitress” who had disappeared even though she had no other tables.... just a cluster. Ok when the drinks and then food arrived it was hot and fresh (of course- only 25 other people in the restaurant).
No coffee or dessert was offered_ we had to give her the check back and say- “ahem, we would like to look at the dessert menu and have some coffee and espresso please..”
Net of this: they need to work on training and a better staffing model. Food is solid. Creative and well prepared, and super fresh and tasty.
If you go during the week be prepared for a noisy bar scene with business people from the surrounding offices and those staying at the hotel next door mobbing the place.
Easy parking.
Some outdoor seating. Full bar that pours generous drinks.
Friendly staff. Excellent chef and kitchen crew.
