Piatti's will be closing this week 7/27/2023 and I have enjoyed dining at this establishment the past 10+years. I have gotten to know most of the waiters and so sad to see this go. The food has always been delicious and the staff attentive, friendly and all around great.

I agree with other reviews. The food is great, but the service is lacking. Our server got upset when we told him to split the check. He was noticeably frustrated which took away from our experience. The food is delicious, though, so I would go back again. I would just hope for a better server experience next time.

I was given a recommendation on this place & my friend certainly steered us in the right direction The food was outstanding… my friend had the pasta with clams Shrimp & calamari which was excellent.. I had the salmon with black rice & enjoyed every morsel. Will be back!!!

Overall the food was quite average and nothing from the menu stood out to us. We certainly could have spent money somewhere cheaper and could have gotten equal or better value, unfortunately. There is nothing inherently wrong with the place, but we didn't enjoy anything about it either.

Wonderful lunch with my mom celebrating her birthday. Our lunch of risotto was excellent and the cheesecake dessert was scrumptious. Our server was excellent as well.

The food was good! Service was decent but I have lots of problem with the way they computed their bill. Fist they gave us a wrong bill with other items that we didn’t order. They came bk second time still with inaccurate bill. Finally they came back with the right bill. When we gave them our credit card they, without our consent, they added almost 22% tips in addition to a 4% surcharge. I found this quite absurd but didn’t want to bother with it as we need to rush to the airport.

We are weekly regulars at Piatti--it's our neighborhood spot. The food is consistently high quality, and the staff is all really friendly and responsive. It just feels like dining with old friends. Last evening we both tried the swordfish special--an excellent preparation with creamy polenta and spinach. Pizzas and pastas are consistently high quality. Would like to see the menu vary more often so we can enjoy new dishes...

Mahi Mahi Special was excellent. Waiter was very attentive. Ate on the patio. It was very comfortable and a moderate noise level for a Friday afternoon.

First time eating at Piatti Santa Clara. The pasta water did not seem to have been salted. We ordered the bread which we never got, but wasn't charged for it. Glad we tried it, but we probably won't go back.

The quality of the food was in no way comparable to the menu description or the price charged. The main course arrived within two minutes of the appetizer. I was told it was because the chef wasn't very busy.

Ordered the lemon ravioli, bucatini and a pizza. The ravioli was not cooked thoroughly so the dough edges were hard. The bucatini was bland and the pizza way too salty. The best part of the meal was the bread…it was super warm and nicely crusty. Will not be going back.

Loved everything except I was disappointed in the Ceaser salad….the lettuce was ok and the dressing was ok. I think, I could have done better. It just didn’t look or taste special. The pasta dinners were served HOT which was awesome and they tasted super delicious!!!! I was totally aware that I was eating FRESH homemade pasta!😋 The Chocolate cake dessert was devine!! Loved the presentation, the portion size (perfect!) and the salted pistachios were a yummy surprise. The cheesecake wa very good as well! Loved your portion sizes for the pasta, not too much and not too little! Great job!👏🏻 Was my 1st time eating at Piatti. The waiter was perfect. He was patient, attentive but not too attentive. Just right.👍🏻 The Atmosphere was very, very nice! Perfect lighting and not too loud in spite of a busy restaurant. We will be back!🤗

I have been in the restaurant countless times. Food and environment are always good as expected. The service this time was NG. She did not give us the table bread and forgot to refill my coke. Did not even care to ask anything at all. The water was refilled by the busboy. Oh, send me the bill in one second after my friend finishing the last bite. That was quick.

We had dinner here on Valentines Day. It had been a few years since we’d been here. Some new items on the menu. Try the fried eggplants sticks for an appetizer- much better than fried zucchini. House wines are better than in most places. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and spent a good amount of time talking with us. It was a nice friendly atmosphere for dinner. Have to remember to go here more often.
