The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was a little bit noisy, but now annoying. Would absolutely return and enjoy another meal. The service was prompt and pleasant. The greeters were welcoming when we came in the door and thanked us as we left.
It is very loud. Conversation is difficult. Service and food make up for it.
Always top quality food, great wine and great service.
Food is great. Our server did his best, but the first wine we ordered was unavailable, our second choice required 20 minutes to find. The noise level is a bit much, at least in the main dining room (which also contains the bar). That said, great food!
We always have a good experience at Piatti. Great food and service, always!
One of the best Italian food places I have eaten in San Antonio.
My lunch partner loves the french toast on the brunch menu. I had a caesar salad (too much dressing) and a pizza. The pizza was piping hot and had a lovely thin, crispy crust.
Went with friends! Had a great time! Food and drinks were great! I enjoyed the seafood stew! Our server was great! No complaints! Will go back!
Excellent service, waiter was attentive, helpful and friendly. Good food but the place was a bit loud.
Great service, great food. We will definitely will be back.
Piatti is consistently great. Great food and service. Patio seating was nice. Goat cheese appetizer delicious!
Delicious and consistent.
Our first visit and we cannot wait to return to try another delicious menu item for our next visit.
Excellent Service, GREAT FOOD!!
Piatti always has great service and fresh, delicious food. I like the safety precautions they have in place for the COVID19 pandemic also.
Piatti was pretty busy on a Monday night, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly. The noise level is considerable, tapering off after 8:00pm. Initial service was quick and friendly, and we enjoyed the Tuscan soup, the carpaccio, the gnocchi and crab cakes. The waiter did forget to bring a glass of wine but did remove the charge when reminded.
We went for a special occasion and appreciated the personalized menus and the birthday sparkler!
Food was great and so was the service. It is easy to rack up a high bill because everything is very good.
I am not sure if it was the server or the kitchen’s fault. I ordered my food with some minor changes and none of them were made. I was in a rush with a colleague at a business lunch and just ate what was brought and moved on. I would have asked them to correct it if I had time. Overall, it was a fine experience but could be better.
Our waiter Justin was awesome! Super knowledgeable about the menu and wine. And helped us make great choices, which made our valentines dinner extra special! We will definitely be returning!
We booked this location for the evening after Valentine's day. While the restaurant was very busy, we were seated on-time and in a room where there was a little less noise than the main room (nice). Our server was prompt and efficient but seemed stressed - nevertheless did a very good job throughout the meal, the food, drinks, bread... all were top notch.. prepared properly and delicious. During our time, the temperature in our room dropped and people started to feel cold and put on their coats. We alerted one of the gentlemen (management or server?) - he apologized and adjusted the temperature within minutes and it was comfortable again.
Have always enjoyed Piatti's menu and this location did a great job for us.
Personally, I didn’t really like the plate I ordered but overall the restaurant is great. The restaurant was loud and I think it was just because it was the day after Valentine’s Day.
We arrived a bit early for our reservation so the wait for a table was understandable. The restaurant has great décor and was lively that evening. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent and the suggestions from the waiter were spot on. Only issue I had was getting our order in a timely manner. It appeared that a manager was walking around checking on things (which was good) and our waiter kept us updated on our order. Just couldn't figure out why it took a bit longer than other tables that came in after us. The menu was fixed so our order wasn't anything out of the ordinary for that day. We didn't mind it so much since we were enjoying each others company on a romantic day. Overall a nice place for dinner any time of the year.
This was our worst visit. Service was very bad ... we were brought the wrong wine and were charged for it. Service was inattentive and not personable. Food was ok this time ... 1/2 lobster was over cooked ... should have sent it back. This was Valentine’s Day and not supportive of the inflated prices. Very disappointing.
It was very busy and loud
If you have an special event , this place it great
Food and service good as it always is.
I had a very bad experience a couple of time prior and was able to enjoy the food, the service, location, among others, Great experience
Food and service is average...kitchen did not deliver exactly what was ordered. Food taste was ok; too much grease n butter
I wish I remembered his name, but had a great waiter.
Service was not good. At 50 minutes we still did not have food. Drinks long delay. Had to ask a manager. Waiter was rude when I inquired about the delay and the fact that we had Symphony tickets.
Outstanding food and outstanding service.
Food was excellent, especially the red fish special. You have to expect it to be noisy on a Friday night.
My husband and I rarely eat Italian food and this was a special treat! Well worth the splurge and we will definitely be going back in the future. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I was asking about white wines and he brought me samples of both to try before I ordered. Very romantic setting as well. Highly recommend!
Only issue is restaurant does not have enough red wine glasses which is inexcusable for a restaurant of this caliber
This was my first time dining at Piatti but will not be my last. The food was AMAZING! The ambiance was great. I can’t believe it took me this long to try. I see a few more menu items I want to try so I will be definitely be back. Five stars, outstanding. I can’t wait to dine again!!!
Always a great spot to grab a meal.
Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. Great place for a business lunch.
Great food, great service! Very noisy place though. Hard to have an intimate conversion.
Piatti is a great spot for a business lunch. They consistently offer great food, service, ambiance, speed of service (but not too fast) - it's just very consistent and reliable. And just right for a business conversation.
Panino was dry and cold from bread to lettuce to grilled chicken. Pizza, tagliatelle, ravioli were great. Goat cheese app was good but not
